[Stormsong]

The devil smiled knowingly at Diablo as he took his place in his throne. Kaalia had retreated to his lap. "How are you my Peasus?"

Shadow whimpered and looked up at him. Seeing his shocked expression, she dares to look upon the devil. Too frightened by the sight of him, she hid her face.

Adrian carefully balanced her in his arms and reached to the bottle. She had even provided a nipple for it. He held it out to the foal. "Come here baby," he called to it.

The foal whinnied and tried to stand, but fell down again.

Diablo looked at the two,his body frozen in shock. He didn't even know what to say to this.. This sight!

Mindy rested in his arms peacefully,her dreams carrying nightmares though.

[Stormsong]

He laughed. "Too shock to speak I see."

Adrian held out the bottle. "Come on, you have to walk to it."

The foal stood again. This time it waited until it was completely balanced before it took a step forward. Then it took another then another. It sniffled the nipple again before it clamped down on it and sucked. It made little grunts of pleasure as it drink.

Diablo caught his breath,his eyes narrowing. "No,not at all. Just minor thoughts of previous wars against you has flooded my mind all to quickly. Anyways,may we leave? Or will we stay." he wanted to know this answer,and wanted to know /now/!

[Stormsong]

The devil tilted his head in thought. "I think that I'll have you stay. You seem to have changed so much during the time that we have spent apart. For instance, you have taken an interest in mares. Why is that?"

Shadow and Carniva nuzzled further beneath him.

The foal whinnied softly as it drank from the bottle. When it was finished, Adrian pulled the nipple out of its mouth. The foal whinnied and nudged him for more. Adrian laughed and patted its neck.

"Sorry baby, I don't have anymore."

The foal approached Mindy and sniffed her curiously, then it sniffed Adrian.

Diablo looked at him,his eyes narrowing. "I am a stallion,I hope I have an interest in mares!"

Mindy opened her eyes,waking from her nightmare. She gasped for air,but quickly stopped. She rolled her eyes over to the foal,her hand reaching out as her wing followed.

[Stormsong]

This only amused the devil even more. "I meant that you were never wanted a mate before. So do you want one now?" He waved his hand away. "Never mind that though. If you love these mares then how willing are you to fight for them?" He snapped his fingers and Carniva was dragged away from Diablo.

Carniva cried out in surprise and tried to run back to him. She whinnied in fear.

Shadow pressed herself closer to him and cried harder.

The foal sniffed Mindy's outstretched hand before it wrapped its tounge around her fingers and sucked.

Adrian held her close and smiled at the foal.

Diablo's eyes widened. He rushed to Carniva,grabbing her mane tightly with his teeth as he plotted his feet in the ground.

Mindy giggled,feeling his tongue. She stretched out her other hand as she petted him. "W-wheres your.. Mommy?" she asked,looking very dazed.

[Stormsong]

He laughed and released the spell he had on Carniva. She snorted and huddled close to him. "Alright, now let's see how you react when I take your other mare." He snapped his fingers and Shadow was flipped onto her back and held down by an invisible force.

Shadow whinnied and thrashed around, trying to get up.

The foal pulled away and nudged her fingers. It snorted with annoyance and laid down in Mindy's lap. The foal yanwed and went to sleep.

Adrian rolled his eyes. "Great."

Diablo jumped as he saw Shadow flipped. His wings expanded and he flickered across to her. He used his weight to push her on to her side,hoping his efforts would bring her up against the force. "Your a sick bastard.. I don't know who to be afraid of more. You or Mindy." he smirked,laughing in his mind about Mindy.

Mindy giggled at Adrian. She got out of his arms,her hands slipped under the foal as she carried him. She was dazed,but obviously strong. "Where to..?"

[Stormsong]

The devil laughed and snapped his fingers again, allowing Shadow to get up. Kaalia watched him with great amusement. She laughed as the black mare scrambled to her feet. "You should me more afraid of me. Mindy is just a festy little angel who has manged to slip around the rules of the heavens. I, on the other hand, can inflict great pain on anyone or anything that I want to." He raised his faingers and prepared to snap them. "Shall I demonstrate?"

Shadow winced when she raised his fingers and hid under Diablo's wing. Carniva trotted over and hid behind him.

Adrian nodded. He heard the sound of more distressed whinnies coming from the hallway right across from the one they were at. "Let's go that way," he said and walked off. He paused for a moment and turned to look at her. "Do you want me to carry the foal?"

Diablo stretched out his wing,touching Carniva. He wanted her in eye-shot but,didn't want to call her. He lowered his head to go into thought. "I've seen your powers,now three times. I'm good."

Mindy shook her head. "I can carry him.." she said,holding the foal in her arms with a sincere smile.

[Stormsong]

He snickered and lowered his head. "That's what I thought. Although, I do love inflicting pain on my enemies. Tell you what. I still want you to be apart of my team. You can be a breeding stallion as well as one that fights in the front lines. Since I'm feeling so generous, I'll let you keep your mares with you. But the black one must tell me the secrets of the Light Stone and the zebra...... She must become my personal amuser. Oh. And I'll let your little angel friends live as well. They can rot in a jail cell together. How does that sound?"

Shadow poked her head out and whispered in his ear. "Don't do it."

Adrian cocked his head. "You sure?"

Diablo stomped his hoof. "I know I've made stupid decisions but! I know all to well to never make a deal with the devil!" he snorted.

Mindy nodded,smiling to him. "Let's go!"

[Stormsong]

The devil laughed. "You think that's going to get you out of the deal? Fine." He snapped his fingers. "Try this one for size!"

At first nothing happened, but then painful memories of Diablo's mother filled his thoughts. Some were true, but some weren't.

Adrian smiled back at her and started down the hall. When they rounded a corner, they found hundreds of Pegasuses, mare, stallion, and foal alike, standing in stalls. They shied away from them as they walked by. "This is sick!" Adrian spat.

Diablo backed away,his eyes wide like saucers. His mother.. Why would he do that?! Diablo snorted,his hoof pawing the ground. He shook his head viciously,anything to stop those damned thoughts.

Mindy walked in,looking at the pegasuses. She walked up to some of the cages,her hand reaching in but,they just quivered in fear. Some even tried to bite her. She frowned. "Aww.."

[Stormsong]

He smirked and snapped his fingers again. This time an exact copy of his mother manifested before them, she smiled sweetly at him.

Shadow looked from Diablo to the mare. She rubbed up against him. "It's okay Diablo. He's just trying to hurt you."

Carniva moved away from him so that she wouldn't accidently be kicked.

A foal cried out from somewhere. "Mommy! Where did the milk go?"

"I don't know sweetie," the mare answered.

In another stall, a Pegasus was having a fit. Her backside was bloodied and she was severly beating the stallion in same cage with her. She suddenly stopped and whirled around to face the angels. An angered neigh came from her lips. Her ears were pinned straight back and her teeth were barred. Suddenly seeing the foal in the angel's arms, she nickered to it softly.

The foal had woken up now and was staring curiously at the mare. It whinnied back.

Diablo shook his head again,until his eyes laid on his mother. His ears pinned back to his head,his jaw dropped and pupils grew small in shock. "M-mother?" he asked.

Mindy looked at them all,then seen the foal nicker to a mare. She gently put the foal down,seeing where it'd wander to.

[Stormsong]

She dipped her head and mouthed the words, "I love you." Before she disappeared. The devil smiled. "You can have her back you know. I am also cabable of giving life as well as taking it away. Do you accept?"

Shadow saw the pain on his face and nuzzled him. "Don't let him fool you, Diablo."

The foal whinnied and tried to stand up. It took a few steps and whinnied. The mare sniffed the foal when it reached her she licked him. He whinnied in delight and nuzzled his mother, trying to fit through the bars so he could be near her.

Adrian looked around the room and saw a large lever and a pair of keys at the other end of the hall.

Diablo stumbled a few paces forward as his mother vanished. His thoughts were now clouded with her loving memories. "N-no.." he muttered. "No!" he shouted in complete denial. "It's the past! It will not effect my future!" his eyes narrowed at the devil,clearly standing his ground.

Mindy smiled softly,reaching out to the foal and petting it. "You found your mommy." she giggled quite dazed.

[Stormsong]

The devil laughed. "What future? You the one with these mares?" He snapped his fingers and Shadow and Carniva were dragged away from him and were knelt down in front of the throne. "Perhaps you will agree if I hold them hostage. Perhaps I can sacrifice their souls to Hell. What do you think?"

Adrian pulled down on the lever and immediately, all the caged doors opened. His eyes glittered with a new determination as he raised his sword. "Come Pegasuses, you are now free. Tell me, how many of you are willing to fight for the freedom of others?"

Some of them lifted their heads and pricked thier ears to listen.

Diablo shook his head. "Neither! You can at least let them go. This matter states to you and me,neither of them have ever been taught to hate you! Now they have reasons! Isn't that enough?" he spoke with determination,thinking to trick the devil himself.

Mindy rushed toward Adrian,pulling down his hand. "Impossible!" she shouted. "We have had many wars.. With many many more then these creatures! Even then we rode on a thin thread.. I can't see another soul be taken into this cell! If we revolt against him,he will take our soul,bring no life or consciousness to our bodies!" her eyes twinkled,pleading to Adrian as they watered. "Please.." she whispered. She had a terrifying memory of her mother and father. They all went to heaven,together.. And fought in wars. The devil took her family.. He took them and used them against her. It was his way of having fun,and it was sick.

[Stormsong]

"No. I want to watch them squirm." He snapped his fingers.

Shadow screamed in pain and she rolled over on the floor. "Diablo!" she cried.

Carniva watched in horror as Shadow convulsed with pain. She whinnied in distress and tried to get away.

Adrian turned to her and sighed. "We have to fight him off some how. Don't you want to finally defeat him? Don't you want to get this done and over with?"

"Excuse me?" A scrawny little foal appraoched them. "Why is a fallen angel helping us?"
