Shadow's breath came out labored as she galloped with the rest of the group through the forest. Their time was up and they all some how knew that the army had been following them despite their promise. Shadow kept looking over her shoulder, half expecting to see a red- eyed wolf following behind her.

Diablo was glancing about over head,haven't taken a break for days as he took the over head shift. Mary flew right beside him,her eyes wide open as if sleep was just a needless matter.

Choco was stumbling a bit,being wary as he trotted beside Carniva and Shadow. They took the form of an odd triangle from above,Carniva being the top,Choco to the middle right,while Shadow was to the bottom far left.

Carniva was so nervous that she snapped at anything that brushed her leg. She jumped at any sudden sound.

Adrian reached over and put a hand on her neck. "It's okay Carniva, we won't let anybody hurt you."

Choco kept his eyes open slightly,staring into thin air as he started to catch sights of darkness. He drew himself to a halt,holding a defensive stance. Diablo turned around,flying in a circle like a crow as Mindy soared down to touch the grass. "I believe that's them."

Shadow and Carniva pulled to a stop with Choco. Shadow snorted and pawed the ground nervously while Carniva started to cry. Above them, the sky grew darker and darker as a sea of ravens blocked out the sun. A howl pierced the tree from behind them- no- in front of them- no, from both sides. A few seconds later, the black wolves with red eyes appeared all around them. They snapped their jaws on the open air, eager to take a bite of their prey. Behind them, hordes and hordes of fallen angels a top of black pegasuses appeared.One fallen angel appeared from the shadows, clutching something in his hand.

"Well well well, it's a pleasure to see you guys again. Oh! And it looks like you replaced one angel for another, how thoughtful of you," Mercutio said in a bitter- sweet voice.

Mindy cracked her knuckles,looking at all of them. She thought this would be a piece of cake. Oh well,she hasn't had a challenge in a long time. She let out a smirk as she lifted her chin. "Answer me this. Why must darkness reside in the hidden light? Or,does it just coward? Lying there,scared of a simple ray but,only comes out when one is singled out. Like a wolf pack,they always try to seek one." she said in a poem like voice.

Diablo snorted,listening to Mindy. How can she be so full of herself at a time like this?! He stood tall,his chest buffed out as he let out a thundering neigh. He wasn't going to back down though,not for his life! Choco stood beside Diablo,his weight shifting under him as Adrian was tossed about on his back. He let out a snort,his breath being seen.

The Pegasuses shifted from foot to foot, snorting with anticipation. They blinked their red eyes at the group curiously. The wolves continued to lick their chops. One was even bold enough to step forward and lick the black female Pegasus. Shadow snorted and moved closer to Diablo, her ears laying back.

Mercutio laughed. "Cute. Real cute. Your charm may prove to be useful. Tell me, how do you think you'll look with raven black wings?"

Mindy thought about her wings being raven black. She pulled out her angelic white colored left wing,and stared for a bit. Her body seemed to relax as she went into thought. "Well,black might be suited for me. But,ya know,I like red." she flashed her eyes at the demonic figure,fangs showing in the corners of her mouth as her wings folded once again.

Diablo drew his lips back to reveal his own teeth,looking for that female that wanted him before. Did she stay behind this time? He felt Shadow move closer,snapping his jaw at the wolf that licked her foreleg.

Avery hung back in the shadows, blending in perfectly with the surrounding angels. The boss had given her and Mercutio strict orders. If they failed this time, then the consequences would be severe. She shuddered at the thought. But her boss had also breifed them on another thing...... A prize that was truely worthy of a promotion to anyone who brought it to them.

Shadow's eyes grew wide with fear when she caught a glimpse of Mindy's fangs. Pure angels weren't supposed to have fangs. she snorted uneasily and shuffled her feet.

"Ah! You have a fangs of a fallen angel. It is very rare that we get those. But, enough small talk." He waved her threatening stance away. "The boss says that your unusual group pocesses something more. Something that we have over looked during our first meeting."

He raised his hand and the pouch around Shadow's neck raised with it. She pinned her ears and started to shake. "The Light Stone is the true reason why you're here isn't it?"

(Don't attack yet.)

Mindy turned around to see the pouch float,her eyes eyed down Shadow.

Diablo walked a step forward,his lips drawn all the way back as to reveal his sickly fangs that his under light coating of foam. "Touch it and ill have your arm!" Diablo threatened.

Choco moved forward with Diablo,his hooves shuffling as his body swayed slightly. He wanted to charge into war but,couldn't. He was second in command here,due to Mindy and Diablo.

Mercutio let the pouch fall. "So be it then. We'll just take from you by force!" With a snap of his fingers, the ravens and wolves rushed forward to maul them.

Adrian smacked every raven and wolf away from him but others kept grabbing his legs. He teeth were clenched as immense pain shot up his legs and up his arms. He backed up until he was close to Carniva, not wanting to loose her as he did Bobby.

Shadow and Carniva whinnied and struck out with their hooves. Their sight was blinded by the ravens beating them with their wings.

Meanwhile, all the fallen angels hung back and waited.

(They are going to get captured this time, okay?)

Mindy lifted her hands,snapping necks of ravens in seconds. Diablo reared,flying his hooves at every flying creature that came toward him. He was on the lookout for ropes,making sure no one were to get captured.

The wolves took advantage of him exposing his belly and leapt at him. They sank there teeth into any bit of flesh that they could. The ravens squaked as they fluttered around the heads of their enemies. Now they were being blinded and deafened.

Shadow screeched when a wolf took hold of her wing and sank her teeth in its ruff. The wolf snarled and sank its teeth deeper. Shadow flapped her other wing and danced her hooves around, crying out in pain as she felt her bone start to break.

Adrain was pinned under a large mass of wolves and ravens. The horrid birds pecked at his head and squaked in his ears while the wolves kept their teeth firmly implanted in his limbs. He cried out desperately as they continued to swarm Carniva and seperating them. "NO!"

Diablo let out a wild neigh,his stomach being injected deeply with razor like fangs. He slammed down,crushing their necks in seconds. Blood gushed out from his wounds,his eyes fixing on Shadow. He moved closer to her,his teeth trying to grab the demon wolf and fling it to it's grave.

Choco was getting hit with ravens and wolves,bones breaking inside his front right leg. He let out a bellowing neigh,bucking and limping back. He came beside Adrian,his leg being seen easily broken.

Mercutio silently motioned for his men to move in. One angel slipped a rope around a mare's neck and started to pull her away. Mercutio was able to slip a rope around the brown stallion.

Carniva whinnied and bucked when she felt a rope being slipped around her neck. Though the ravens still attacked her head, the wolves ceased their attack.

Choco felt a rope being tied around his neck. With all his strength,he reared to his hind legs and started to kick at the source. He was never one to go down.

Diablo heard Choco's wild neigh before,and turned aroun.d Something bumped him,seeing a little white wing near his hindquarter. It was Mindy. She was trying to fight off every raven that came toward her face,but was failing as blood drooled down her

Mercutio released his hold on the stallion and ordered more wolves to attack him. They leapt at any exposed flesh that the could. Suddenly, the ravens and wolves cleared away, leaving only a bloodied Adrian on the ground. With a swipe of his hand, he knocked him out and hoisted him onto his Pegasus.

Shadow was now laying on the ground. The wolves were tearing at her. She kicked out every now and then but mostly let them knaw.

Diablo let out another painful neigh as wolves started to beat him down. He felt Mindy climb his back,her hand going right through one wolf's skull. She shook her hand out of it before being taken down with Diablo. Diablo tried to reach back up,getting to his legs as his tired eyes scanned the field. Shadow was lying on the ground,wolves eating at her. Carniva was token away,and Adrian was on a pegasus. He couldn't see Choco,but remembered his wound. He hanged his head,letting defeat burn into his high spirits and engulf his heart.

The fallen angels quickly moved in and lassoed the rest of the Pegasuses and tied up the angel and flopped her on top of the fallen one. After snatching the pouch from around the female's neck, Mercutio motioned for them to move out.

Diablo felt Mindy try to fight off the angels,but ending in failure. He turned his head weakly,blood pouring down his right eye as he saw Mindy being taken away. He let out a neigh to her,one that they used to say everything's alright. They started to be taken away,their attempts were in vein.

Mercutio led them deep into the woods, his eyes darting the tops of the trees as if they were looking for something. The wolves and raven followed along side them. Shadow limbed up to Diablo and pressed her bloodied face against his neck. "I'm scared Diablo."

The fallen angel that held her jerked on the rope. "Shut up whore!" He snapped.

Shadow wheezed but kept queit.

Diablo listened to Shadow,then heard that fallen angel's shout. He lunged himself at him but,only to be roughly jerked back. His teeth clacked inches anyway from that angel's face. He let out a warning snort to that angel before giving Shadow a promising glance. He couldn't speak. No,not at all. The wolf bit him good last time right under his chin,right into his vocal cords. He could only talk like a horse for now,with a struggle.
