Diablo shook his head. "Nah. Don't mind if I get dawn and dusk mixed up. Just lets keep going." He turned round,walking forward and back beside Choco.

[Stormsong]

Carniva nodded and trotted after Diablo and Choco.

Adrian clung to Diablo's mane and slipped into his own thoughts.

Diablo trotted beside Choco,soon entering the clearing after an hour. "We're here." He neighed.

[Stormsong]

Carniva screamed as she saw the sight before her. There were dozens of skeletons scattered throughtout the feild. All of them were blackened as if they had been in a fire. She started to hyperventilate again. "They... They..... They were following us, they stripped the meat off these bodies and we're going to be next!" She hid her face behind her wings and whimpered softly.

Adrian slid off Diablo's back and touched the skulls of a foal. "She's right. If you guys passed through this field earlier then they did follow you. These bones were blackened by the touch of evil. The souls of these poor creatures probably never made it to the heavens." He turned and locked eyes with Diablo then Choco. "This army has most likely been following you the whole time. I don't know where you guys came from but I can tell that it was a place far away from here, but I guaruntee that there is a trail of death where ever you guys have been."

Diablo walked up to one of the skeletons,his head lowering as his muzzle touched it. His eyes closed as he tried to picture this sight. An army of darkness,thundering through these fields. Orders being given,as they look for a small gang... A gang of pegasuses and angels. He growled,looking around before snorting. "Well,where to go now.." he murmured.

[Stormsong]

(POV switch)

Shadow flew as fast as her wings could carry her. She could barely notice Mindy clinging onto her main on her back. She flew through the air but not in the direction of her friends. "You doing okay Mindy?" she called over the wind.

Mindy wasn't even on her back anymore. She flapped her angelic wings beside Shadow,flying on her back as she waved to her. "Excellent Shadow! You sure fly pretty slow!" she teased.

[Stormsong]

Shadow rolled her eyes. "Don't make fun of me. I haven't been flying as much as I want to, plus I'm bigger than you!" She chuckled and picked up speed. "We aren't going stright to Diablo and Choco," she told her, her face growing serious again.

(Holy crap! We'er almost done with this topic! We only have one big fight scene and then the conclusion to go! )

Mindy sharpened her eyes at Shadow. "The bigger you are the harder you fall." she quoted an old saying, "And why not?" she demanded an answer.

(O.O YAY! Story is almost done! This might be the first completed rp I have ever done!)

Shadow sighed. "Because, I know some people who I think can help us." Using all her strength, she propelled herself forward.

Mindy looked at Shadow. "Who exactly?"

[Stormsong]

Shadow locked eyes with her. "The elves."

(Pov switch!)

Mindy laughed. "Yeah! Right!"

Diablo stood there,completely angered by this sudden sight. "Choco! We've been at least everywhere!" He called out to his partner.

Choco snorted. "I know."

[Stormsong]

Adrian grew angry as well. "EVERYBODY JUST SHUT UP! I NEED TO THINK!" He crossed his arms over his chest and paced back and forth. His wings twitched with agitation. "Alright, we obviously can't go back the way we came but, why not go forward?" He looked back the way they came and squinted at the mountain in the distance. He pointed to it. "Why not take refuge at Shadow's Rock?"

(Duh duh duuuuhhhhh! )

Diablo looked toward the high mountain,his eyes narrowing with determination. "Mine as well. Choco,keep watch below. I'm going for an overhead view so we know which way /not/ to go." he said. His wings expanded to their full extent,jumping into the air as he flew high and higher for an overlook view.

Choco didn't have time to respond,only muttering "Stay here he said,it'll be fun he said."

[Stormsong]

Carniva flicked her ears at Choco's comment. "What?" she asked.

Adrian rolled his eyes and pointed to Diablo. "What is he doing now?"

Choco looked at the two. "Oh nothing,being the usual protector. He is looking around for any more traces of of those shadow dwellers."

[Stormsong]

He shook his head. "They aren't going to be around. They gave us three days to run and we're just standing here...." He stopped himself before he got worked up.

Choco sighed. "Just go forward. He wont care if we leave him behind or not anymore. He is hiding his rage.. And I will tell you why once we're out of ear-shot." he said,walking forward.

Diablo flew in a wide circle,his eyes scanning the tree tops and lands below him for anything. Nothing..

[Stormsong]

Adrian climbed up onto Choco's back and waited for him to go forward.

Carniva had already started trotting in the direction of Shadow's rock.

Choco rushed after Carniva,then starting to explain what was wrong with Diablo's fortune. "Well,you weren't here when I told Diablo about his mother. Diablo's mother lived in these lands. Her wings were taken from her,and became just little stubs of bone on her back. They left only a single bone that could tell her apart from horses. Well,that pile of dead horses.. One of them is Diablo's mother. If you have a good eye,you could've saw the misplaced bone in that skeleton."

[Stormsong]

Adrian nodded. "Well, there is mostly dead human bodies there. The horses that did die look a if they have been trampled to death. So Diablo's mother was most likely killed when she tripped and fell during a stampede."

[ZeldaWolfy]

Choco shook his head. "No,you've never been into our wars. Her shoulder blade had bite marks in it,and her neck was broken with traces of cuts. She was bitten and then possibly grabbed by her neck and snapped."

[Stormsong]

"So, you're saying that she was killed by the Dark Army?" he asked.

Carniva shuddered at those two words. She was probably killed by those wolves, she thought.

Choco thought. "I'm suggesting she was killed by something big,with canines. Demons are known with that to though. Diablo has canines,meaning demon pegasus's can have that too."
