The feather-tipped tail whisked around the grass as he sat on a rock, wanting to fly. His only friends when off to find Rosebud and Valentine dragons to breed and leave, which is what his kind did best. Getting up and stretching his rosy pink claws, he turned around and walked into his underground cave. At the center with the sunlight shining upon it and a mini moat around it, he smiled as he walked to his Valentine Leetle Tree and trimmed it with his claws a bit, plucking a few of its berries and eating them. "If only i could find someone this year, then i could make that girl happy. But no, this year i stand no chance amigo." He said softly to the tree as he carefully brushed it with his tail feather. Finished, he laid down at the entry way and watched the dragons that flied, the wind blowing his pink feathers in its direction.

Firefly flew down to the ground to rest her fragile wings.

Letting out a long, deep and vocal melody as he laid there. Once he shut his mouth, he saw nearby a dragoness and smiled. Crawling out, his long tail wrapped around itself as a loop now and then as he walked over to her. "Madame, resting your wings? You should be in the sky, sharing to others your beauty and grace!" He called out to her as he stopped to say it. Coming closer, he sat down and looked at her.

[Stormsong]

Firefly turned to the dragon who appraoched her. she blushed at his comment and looked away. "Oh I-" She couldn't finish her thought. She shifted a little. "Am I in your way? I could move if you want me to"

[Guest]

"Not at all! Your in the perfect place for someone like yourself! Its just hardly to describe how fabulous you look in the light." He said charmingly, trying to subdue her. Maybe he was going to get a chance this year! Smiling, he cleaned the feather on his tail as he watched her.

[Stormsong]

She giggled at his comment. "Thank you, you don't look to bad yourself," she said and smiled at him. "What's your name by the way?"

[Guest]

"Valentino, at your service, m'lady." He replied as he softly brushed her with the feather plum on his tail smiling. He was developing an interest but he never have heard of a Sweetling Dragon having a permanent mate before. Finished, he looked at her now shiny scales and chuckled lightly.

[Stormsong]

"Valentino? Well the name sutis your color," she chuckled but stopped when she realized that she might have offended him. "I'm sorry that was mean. I shouldn't have done that," she moved away from him and bowed her head, ashamed with herself.

[Guest]

"Its alright! To me and others of my kind, its a compliment." He replied and chuckled a bit. He enjoyed the dragoness being around just he couldn't join her in the air.

[Stormsong]

Firefly breathed a sigh of relief then remembered that he too had chuckled earlier. "Where you laughing at me a second ago?" she asked.

[Guest]

"Hardly. I am having fun so it is good to laugh." He replied, looking at her. He was having a good time, as always, and won't let it go to waste.

[Stormsong]

Firelfy smiled. "I see," she relpied.

He smiled as he watched the flying dragons roar and such, but it didn't bug her.

[Stormsong]

"What are you doing here exactly?" she asked. "Are you resting too?"

[Guest]

Pointing a claw to the hole, he looked to her. "That is my home. I live underground. There is a small hole inches from it that give my tree some light." He replied to her as he got up and shook his feathers.

[Stormsong]

Firefly stood up and sniffed the inside of his hole. "I could never fit in there, my wings are too big," she stated before turning and watching him get up. "You're not leaving me are you!?" she asked in alarm.

[Guest]

Stretching his legs, he shook his head as a no. "Hardly. I am only stretching. Besides, my kind can't fly." He said softly, looking to his hole.

[Stormsong]

Firefly's gaze shifted to Valention's wingless back. "Oh," she said and turned to look at her own wings. "I can't imagine what that must be like."

[Guest]

"Not fun. Its really boring because your mostly always alone." He replied as he dug his pink claws into the growled.

[Stormsong]

"I'm sorry to here that," she said kindly. Now she felt really bad for him.

[Guest]

He nodded and laid his head down but took in some air. The few scents of dragonesses in the distance in heat made tool twitch in its sheath and he groaned silently.

[Stormsong]

Firefly followed his gaze to the dragons who flew in the sky. They were all off and getting their pleasure. Though Valentino never asked, it was why she was here. She didn't have much luck yet though she knew that her scent was permating the air around her.

"Your in heat." He muttered to her as he looked at her. Taking in her scent deeply, his tool twitched more as he groaned softly with a craving urge to just plain ask.

"Erm-yeah," Firefly responded awkwardly.
