I suddenly stopped her again. "Pelican I said that to make her feel better. I still love you." I said sadly. "Please don't go." I said sadly. I then licked her cheek and nuzzled her.

Pelican sneered and turned away from him when he licked her. " Don't touch me!" She snapped, how dare he come lick me after he licked Shadow! She thought rapidly. " You know that not true!" She narrrowed her eyes and growled at him. Racing away once more.

I stopped her again. "Pelican I did it to stop her from crying! I love you dearly." I said. I nuzzled her neck again, and I had a very serious look on my face. "I love you." I said seriously.

Pelican growled slightly, snapping her head away from his nuzzle. Not accepting the 'I love you'. She whimpered then snarled. But calmed and stiffened. Stepping away from him. " Prove it!" She spat harshly.

I growled slightly as he licked my face "then choose one!" i snapped and walked further into the forest as more silent tears came i soon came to an abandoned den that was just big enough for me to fit in. I walked into the far back of the den and curled up crying myself to sleep.

Pelican sneered at his but did as told. She felt his heart beat and still narrowed her eyes. She looked away from him, putting her head low to the ground.

Pelican shrugged, she opened her mouth but the words won't come out....... She caught her words and spat them out. " Nothing is wrong. I'm just confused." She said simply. Hesitating to look up at him but soon enough did.

"Confused about what?" I asked politely. Suddenly my heart beat faster and a shot of pain went through my body. I collapsed onto the ground and gasped.

Pelican gasped and caught him before he fell. She whimepered and placed him gently on the Earth below her. She felt his heart beat as it began to beat fast then slow a couple times then stop. She let tears fall and nuzzled Durnal. Licking his face rapidly. " Durnal!" She screeched.

Her screech awoke me and I scambled onto my feet. "Pelican. I love you so much." I said sweetly, and returned her nuzzle.

Pelican smiled warmly, half blushing. She nuzzled herself into him before nodding. " I... Love you too." she said in a low voice.

I nuzzled her tightly, and I cried with joy. I stopped and looked at her. "Are you ready for pups?" I asked.

Later on that night shadow woke up and made her way out of the den and slowly walked back to the clearing where the main den was. Once she got there she looked around and didnt see anyone. She walked over to a patch of soft grass and layed down laying her head on her paws she rested her eyes and closed then but not going to sleep.

I then found a great spot for breeding. "How about here?" I asked. I loved this spot very much. green grass springing, tall trees and light moss.

Pelican trotted into the clearing and smirked. Looking down over at him she slowly walked over to Durnal. " It's perfect."
