She did comfort me well. "I love you to." I replied sweetly. I nuzzled her neck and licked her chin. I couldn't wait to have pups. I really wanted them now, but of coarse it wasn't possible.

Pelican sighed heavily and smiled, nuzzling him back. She wrapped her tail around them him, leaning against him.

I looked over at her, and smiled. I couldn't wait any longer for pups. "Pelican. If you are ready I am ready to have pups." I said. I wanted to check with her first.

Pelican smiled then frowned, remembering her litter she had awhile ago. Sighing heavily, she glanced back up at him nodding then licking his muzzle. " Yes but first I need my wounds to heal." She said.

I smiled back at her. "Ok thats fine. I hope they get better." I replied. I nuzzled her chin and licked her nose lightly.

Because I cared about her, I ran into the woods and grabbed cobwebs and poppy seeds. I ran back to the den and put them down on her woulds. "Hope this helps." I said.

Pelican grinned and nodded, " I will." She said softly. Getting up and dusting herself off. The wound sizzled with pain but soon stopped and it felt better but it was still there.

"Yup those seeds and webs sure work." I said happily. I nuzzled Pelican, and suddenly smelled the scent of her in heat. I gave a little grin. "Uh Pelican You're in heat you know." I said trying not to sound weird.

Pelican gasped to hear his words and slammed her tall to her rump. Blocking out the heat scent, she looked up at him grinning. " Yeah I know."

[[ Not sure how much you were here for.... Erm.. My wolf, Draek, joined. Durnal fell in love with Pelican and now they're mates.. ]]

Draek returned to find the spot empty, except for a small pool of blood. A low growl spread from his throat and rounded the items he held tightly in his mouth. His nose picked up on the scent of Durnal, and Draek calmed slightly. His eyes followed the scent and found his alphas. Silently, Draek loped over to the two and set the supplies down beside her. He didn't know Durnal had already brought them to her. Draekath's ears fell back slightly and he stepped away from the two to give them space. he could tell Pelicanwas in heat, but he wasn't interested in fighting Durnal for the chance at mating.

Pelican smiled down at Draek and gave him a tender yet loving lick like a mother would and thanked him. " I will need these later. Thank Draek. I appreciate all that you have done for me." She smiled.

I slowly woke up and shook out my pelt and watched how durnal and pelican were acting. When i heard the word pups my ears went flat to my skull and i softly whimpered. My head went low and i slowly tucked my tail then ran off into the woods and curled into a ball and cried silently.

Draek nodded and turned slowly. His ears back, he listened to Durnal and Pelican until he couldn't hear them anymore. His nose found the soft, earthy scent of the dirt and he sneezed softly. His ears perked forward as though he had missed something during the small outburst. He heard nothing, however, and continued walking down a barely perceivable trail. Draekath's nose found the scent of a fae. She smelled like Durnal, but he had never caught that scent from the pack before. He flicked his tail to the side and glanced around a bush to try to find the strange new wolf.

I looked up at draek and slowly uncurled from my ball and stood up with my head leaning down near the ground. "why did this happen?"

Draek jumped in surprise from her voice and his ears shot straight up. He turned to look at the fae, who was clearly upset. Draek walked over to her, his stomach low to the ground out of respect. Since she had once been an alpha, Draekath was lower in rank than she was. Draek sat back on his haunches in front of her and nuzzled her cheek. It was moist with tears. Draek frowned and sat back once more. "I can't tell you that. All I can tell you is that things will get better. I promise you that" He said slowly, his words soft and sincere.

I looked at him as if showed me respect. I shook my head at him "dont show me respect anymore. I am no longer an alpha." i sat down and sighed and looked at with silent tears still streaming down my face after if nuzzled me. I heard his words but it didnt cheer me up any i had been betrayed and nothing was going to fix that wound.

I saw Shadow wake up and run into the woods. I ran after her and saw Shadow with Draek. "Back off Draek!" I said demandingly. I looked at Shadow and I started to cry. "I'm so sorry Shadow. I fell in love with Pelican, and now I'm in love with 2 wolves." I said sadly. I licked away her tears that ran down her cheeks.

Pelican watched them carefully, sad eyes bruning from disgrace. She picked herself up before racing off into the woods. wanting to ge away, so she did. She kept running and running until she knew she was far from them. Stopping to catch her breath she huffed, her breaths were inc rackles and the wound was reopened. She winced but made herself go on. She was a yellow blurr as she flashed through the shadows.

I smelled Pelican and sped after her. I stopped her immediately. "Pelican! Stop please!" I said while crying.

Pelican growled and stepped back away from him. " No!" She spat, twisting around to race off in the other direction. She roared loudly, howling as she ran in a battle screech of true rage that suddenly struck through her.
