Calla stopped hearing something she got curious straying off her path she saw the mermaid breifly hearing the snarl she soon spotted him, that wolf from the night before and she quickly jerked back and got to the path in a bit of a panic, she rubbed ehr neck wherehe had last bitten her the night before. She had to take a break, "My uncle was right" she muttered and sighed "I should've listened" she said and stoppedon the path lifting her head up to look to the moon filled sky. She sucked her finger realising she ahd caught it on a branch while she ahd hurried back to the path "ouch.." she said a little annoyed

Andrew turned away from the rippling water and saw a flash of movement in the ferns. He turned on a dime and looked down the path to see the woman from the night before. He sat where he was and watched her a moment. "Guess he was right" He said, his lips curling up into a grin. She would make the connection, or so he hoped. Andrew's tail swayed behind him before he curled it tightly against his haunches.

She thought a little once mroe about the nightbefore and shook her head "strange how he was there only seconds after thatincendent happened also that wolf ran away when the sunlight came so... Oh great the first decen tguy I meet and he tried to eat me seconds before" she muttered and sighed rustling erh hair she kneeled down and tied ehr laces up turning ehr gaze "You again what is it you want Andrew?" she asked a little angryily, no longer that scared of him.

Andrew chuckled at the anger in her voice. "Why do you keep coming back?" He asked, his voice now bitter. The words tasted bad in his mouth. He disliked this woman who was so much different from her uncle. He didn't change back to his human form, but stepped over to her and leaped onto a bench. The seat looked small under Andrew's massive body as he sat regally. His eyes grinning but his lips now hidden by his black mask.

"because this is the path I usually do my morning jog" she said to him "so don't get angry with me" she said bluntly "You tried to kill me last night adn then you go an act all innocent the morning after you mutt" she said clearly quite annoyed as she saw his grinnning eyes and then said "if you don't like me taking this path the that sucks but I'm not changing it" she said crossing ehr arms over ehr chest stubbornly.

Andrew shrugged her words away with innocence. "I think I can change your mind" He said calmly, crawling down and flicking his ears behind him. Andrew continued facing forwards, locking his eyes with hers. "You're not welcome here" His words were sharp and his hackles raised. At that moment, two more wolves that looked similar but with different colored markings stepped from the shadows of the forest. He was much larger than them, and they stayed at his flank.

She jerked a little but stood her ground "I'm stillnot going to change my path for one this is the only path, two you ahve no authority over me and three why do you hate me so much?" she asked him her eyes locked with his determined to at least try and stand her ground for as long as could although two more wolves did look terrfying to her she kept it hidden but that fear in ehr eyes wouldn't fade away at all. Her arms still crossed over ehr chest she turned her gaze gulping a little suddenly when she remembered soemthing her uncle had written.

If there is more than one, or even if there is one run

She shook her head, a little. She waited for his answer "So why do you hate me to the point you'd kill me?" she asked bluntly and glared at him a little trying not to show her fear if she could, this was her stubborness acting now that she kenw who he really was adn what he was at that matter.

Andrew watched as she gulped, her throat rolling and her eyes twitching slightly. "If you so wish to stay, then prove yourself!" He growled, standing abruptly. His hackles raised and he glared through her eyes and straight to her shaking soul. Andrew knew he was letting his anger rise too far but didn't fight it. His memories rolling through her Uncle's actions and how he had betrayed every last one of them. "Show us you're not like him!" His voice boomed again. To his left and right, the two wolves whimpered slightly, their backsides wriggling with anticipation of a chase. Andrew kept his eyes trained on the girl though, unwilling to let her go.

"and how do I do that then?" she asked him hearing the whimepring knowing they wanted a chase in which she wasn't going to give them the satisfaction of that again. She looked to him tensing as she waited for an answer she could even see his rising anger as his hackles rose even higher making her shake a little. "Well going to tell me then?" she asked him sternly. She backed up a little as well seeing the other two desperate for a chase becoming more so as time passed which made her cautious and careful.
She glared straight back at him when she gathered the courage, "Well fi you won't answer then i'm going to continue my jog and will so every morning" she said sternly turning her back to restart her jog.

Andrew snarled loudly when she turned her back to him and he tackled her to the Earth. He rolled her onto her back and look deep into her eyes. "You want to know huh? So you're actually going to jog you're little ass down that trail?" He snorted, and laughed. The two chattered behind him like hyenas as the began to wrestle each other. Young ones, he thought and rolled his eyes mentally. "Well then" He said and pushed a large paw against her wrist. Andrew's eyes burned into hers. "Burn them. The journals. Burn every last one of them" He snarled. "That's just the beginning, though. You must swear to never speak of the forest again, to anyone other than us forest creatures" Andrew said, serious licking at his stern words.

banging ehr head when she was tackled to the gorund she groaned a little before looking up to him. She frowned a little those journals had been very important to her great uncle "There are only sketches in there that's all" she said bluntly "As for not telling anyone, I ahve no one to tell, I only moved recently and hence have no freinds" she said having actually moved country to stay here, if he had ntoiced there were still boxes of stuff in the house she ahd left to un pack. "Now let me up" she said sternly her ice blue eyes peircing his as she spoke to him. "Those journals were important to my great uncle though..." she muttered that was something very tough for her to do. THe books themselves were incredibly valuable as well.

Andrew frowned when she mentioned the importance of the journals. "Fine. Bring the fool's journals here and we'll keep them. Don't expect to take them home after that though" He said, his voice normalizing itself. He moved so she could stand. The two other wolves curiously listened as the woman talked Andrew out of his decision. They yipped from behind him and Andrew whirled around. He tackled them both and they whimpered, licking at his maw in submission. "Now get!" He snorted, and they wriggled from his grasp and darted into the trees.

She got to her feet brushing herself off sighing "Fine then" she said and retied her long hari up quickly watching every move once more, very cautious of him in ehr mind he was now nothing more than a deceiving liar after everything. She could understand why bu she was still ticked off at him more than she ahd been with anyone.. She continued her jog finishing ti she spent ehr morning finding the journals and putting them in one of the boxes before she sorted her own stuff out making herself comfortable in her new home although, those wolves were certiantly going to be annoying especailly a certain one named Andrew.
She flicked through the journals once mroe checking no pages were missing before she put the box on the side for now, she could give him to them that night if she didn't see him earlier although she ahd ahorrible feelingeh would somehow appear on ehr doorstep, amking breakfast ocne mroe she sighed adn sat down eating it "here three days and I'm already in trouble" she frowned

Andrew returned to the den site and crouched down into his den. Kris met him with a wag of her tail, but she was clearly exhausted from playing mom. He told the pups that their parents were back and they eagerly fled from the den. Andrew nuzzled Kris before telling her he had to go. She frowned, but nodded and laid her head down to rest. He crept from the den and gathered his best friend to help him take the journals back. They changed when they neared the girl's house and he knocked against the wooden front door.

She sighed opening it with a frown before she closed it on them breifly makign sure they didn't come in her house and picked the journals up and opened the door again handing them the journals to them in silence and just shut the door on them once more without a single word at all and finished sorting her stuff out. She sighed letting her head tilt back and walked outside silently later on she climbed up a tree and met a perculair bird that cawed adn seemed to greet her putting ehr arm out it hopped on and nuzzeled her with it's beak "You strange thing" she said, it had weird things coming from it's beak, she smiled stroking the feathers gently and leaned back against the trunk of the tree and looked over the forest having climbed up quite high. "This place turned out to be a nightmare" she said to it. "First decent person I met turned out to be a man eating wolf that I would rather not ahve met" she said and it cawed.

Andrew frowned when she curtly thrusted the boxes into his arms and shut the door. His friend took one of them and they left for the den.

She climbed down after a bit and explored a little more seeing what else she could find, she even found where they had put the books thanks to that little bird that had made freind with her. "You are a funny little thing" she giggled and walked through the hidden paths long forgotten hoping she didn't run into Andrew again or any of his kind at all. Walking through the paths she found somewhere very interesting as it was getting dark she blinked seeing small latern carrying bugs floating around. She smiled a little and sat down watching as they floated around aimlessly with the soft breeze. "This place sure is strange, like a more creepy version of alice in ownderland" she said to herself.

Andrew stashed the books in the den of the old Alpha, then warned the juveniles to stay away from them. He checked to see that everyone was there, but something seemed unusual. Andrew looked curiously around, and the wolves averted their eyes. "What's wrong?" He asked quickly, his heartbeat increasing. Kris had been pregnant, he knew. His worry increased, and he dashed down their den. Suddenly his worry grew to outrage. He stormed out. "Where is she?!" He demanded, his words broke into wild snarls. The pups darted into dens with their mothers, and the males dipped their heads. His friend frowned, confused as well. An Omega ventured forward "She went out hunting.... And she... Well she hasn't come back" He said. Andrew snarled "Hunting?!" He cried out "You let her go hunting by alone?" He shook his head, and caught the sight of a teenager as he went to duck inside a burrow. "Stop. Why are you hiding?" Andrew said, his voice lowering.

The bird suddenly fluttered off she ahd gotten too close to the wolf lands and jerked suddenly before she spotted a female, "Are you ok?" she asked worried noticing that she was pregnant as well. "You should just rest" she said. She looked her over concerned "Your one of them?" she said and sighed finding a wound she looked to the bird "my hosue top cupboard" she said and the brid came back with some disinfectant and something to cover it with. She tended to it unfortunatly she ahd a weak spot for animals and in the wolf form she wasn't growling at her like Andrew had been so.. maybe she was different. "There that should be better, the wolf lands aren't far so go back to your pack, i bet their worriedand I don't want to be held responsible by that jerk of a mutt either" she said knowing she'd be blamed since he still hated her guts. The bird landed on ehr shoulder and cawed nervously "She can't be any worse than him" she said to the bird bluntly and made sure she went back.

Kris cowered beneath the low branch she was under and nervously watched the shadows of the forest. Her paw was sprained, and they had taken her mask from her. She hid her elegant features from the world and whimpered quietly. A recent storm had soaked the tree and she jumped with every cold drop that fell on her back. She looked over at a young human as she approached her. Kris scooted back against the tree. "Go" she whispered to the girl, but she didn't seem to notice. "Run!" She said a little higher as the girl tended to her wounds. Kris pulled her paw back and yelped in pain as the joint shifted against bone.

Andrew growled as the young teenager explained that he saw their rivals take her back to their den. He shook his head and Andrew struck him hard across his shoulder. The younger wolf cried out in pain and the males scattered to their families. "Next time, don't just stand there" He snarled and turned harshly in the dirt. The movement sent dirt and leaves up behind the wolf as he ducked into a den. Andrew pushed himself harder than he should have as he sprinted hard into the forest, desperately smelling the air. He caught her scent, but the girl's was with it. "Really?!" He grumbled and increased his pace. The movement burning his lungs, heart, and muscles. He slid to a stop and snarled loudly at the girl as Kris cowered back. Kris's eyes widened and she attempted to stand and move towards Andrew. He stepped towards her and nuzzled her. "It's a trap" He heard her say, and just then he felt a dead weight run into his side. "Go!" He told the girl, and stood in front of his handicapped mate. He snarled loudly as more and more of the enemy wolves closed in on him. He slashed a massive paw and caught the closest one in the jaw, but another quickly took his place. With a loud growl, the backed off but soon returned. Andrew laid his ears back and jumped at them. He tried hard to keep his back covered, but was constantly catching teeth to his haunches. He snarled and gripped someone's neck, thrashed, and laid the body aside.

She shook her head a little and jerked when more wolves came, she whispered to the bird who headed for the other wolves while she ran, she couldn't do anything btu wondered what on earth was going on. She saw all the fighting and shook ehr head she missed a wolf herself wincing a little at the scratch she had gained and clambered up a tree and waited hoping that the bird had gottne to the pack in time. she broke some twigs off and found some pine cones chucking them at wolves that were at his huanches. "Cowards too afraid to take on someone by yourself so you set a trap adn gang up on them, you pitful creatures" she taunted them. She wasn't going to stand by and run for a change. "Well going to answer cowards" she shouted a few turned to her as she kept bluntly insulting them and then made her way down adn chucked more thing at them, she soon started legging it and finding a place they couldn't reached she crawled in there and listened to them snapping determined to get her.

Andrew pricked his ears forward at the girl's taunts, and he shook his head. However, some of the wolves turned to her and he made quick work of them. He yelped at a sudden pain in his neck, and instinctively fell to the ground. A low chuckle vibrated and Andrew snarled. The Alpha had actually shown up. "We'll fight another day, just go" he snarled, the black of his blood creeping out of his wounds and staining the Earth. "Andrew!" Kris cried out, and he turned to her. He turned just in time to see one of the wolves grip her throat and kill her. "No!" Andrew cried, and despite his wounds he threw himself at the murderer. He grabbed the scruff of his neck and thrashed, sending him to the ground. He looked up with a wicked grin, and Andrew tore out his throat. He stood there afterwards, panting. His mind whirled, but he dare not turn around and face the limp body of his old mate. Pain gripped his soul, but emotional pain that made the wounds on his back feel like small scrapes.

She her stayed in the tree after that and jerked seeing the female wolf killed. she climbed down watching breifly before the bird came back she was quick to head home after seeing all of that, "What on earth is going on uncle said there was only one wolf pack" she muttered, the brid ahd stayed behind and pecked him gently "Want to go see Calla? She knows how you feel?" he asked having listened to the stories of when she ahd a boyfreind who ahd died, seh felt pretty much how he did now. "Plus they gone soon anyway" he said .

Andrew's body racked slightly with trembles as the other Alpha stalked close to him. A grossing smirk lifted on his lips, and he knocked Andrew's mask off his face. He lowered his head and took a shaky breath. Trent, his name was. The other Alpha's name was Trent. Andrew shook his head, and Trent lifted his paw. As Trent tapped Andrew's back, he fell and earned laughter from those around them. Trent's laugh churned Andrew's stomach. "Look at you! So weak... So easily defeated!" He said, his words smooth as if comforting, but it was all an act. Trent shook his head and walked into the shadows "Come on boys, our job here is done" He said, and in a cloud of raucous laughter, they all left.

She returned a little later and found him putting her hand to his nose so she knew it was him and noticed his mask was gone "What happened, usually you'd be snarling or right now I wouldn't even have a hand" she said to him "Come on,no good for you to stay out here in the rain... I ahte you but not enough to let you die out here" she said bluntly, she sighed and tended to the worse of his wounds looking to the colour of the blood a little confused but let it be and kept tending silently to it. "Well going to tell me or going to remain silent?" she asked him gently, she could tell he was upset so didn't push it.
