I felt comfort from my mate and the mare, I had been in labor for about an hour or 2 now and was all sweaty, it was getting harder to breathe and the contractions were coming more rapidly so I new one of the foals was about to come. I whinny in discomfort as I feel the first foal start to come out.

Ayesha
I ran to the lake and grabbed some water by cupping it into a torn off piece of bark. I laid it infront of Dawn and smiled lightly, hoping it would help.

Dawn
I try to smile but the pain was very sharp

Dark Storm~
I put my head against Dawn`s and nickered our special nicker."I love you,we can make it through this."I told her.I ran my tounge along the bridge of her nose like she was my own foal.Then I pulled back and turned to Ayesha."Thank you for the water Ayesha."I snorted with a smile.

Hearing dark stroms voice gave me strenght and I pushed out a. Beautiful steal grey colt with 4 white stockings and a snip on his nose, *no wonder it hurt to much he's so big* I think to myself as I lift my head to see our first foal, I smile weakly then go back to pushing so the next foal could come

Dark Storm~
My heart swells with pride as I see my son.He was big compared to the colts of the past,I guess he would grow to be as big as I,maybe a little bit bigger.He definantly had lead stallion potential.I waited the next herd arrival staring anxiously at both the colt and Dawn.

Moon Dancer ~ I smiled slightly as the young colt was born " I can see he's going to be a hand full.."... I returned my attention to Dawn.... " That's it nearly done...." I said standing next to her... " Your doing great Dawn.."

Dark Storm~
I shivered with excitment,It was hard to contain myself,though I did feel a deep sympathy for Dawn who was in severe pain at the moment.

Dawn
I push inbetween contractions, soon enough a danity pinkish chestnut filly with a sock on her right hind leg and a star. And a darker chestnut line going down the middle of her back is finally born. Relief washes over me as I see my two new beautiful foals breathing easily. Laying next to me. I quick get up so that the foals would want to stand and get milk

Colt: I see my mother stand and look around at everyone near me, I see my sister and whinny a high pitchd whinny to her then I try to stand and get on my first try
Filly: I nicker to my mommy then smile at what I think was my daddy. I feel my tummy start to groul so I get up and bossily bump my older brother out of the way to get milk
Colt: I throw my head but let her go and I walk to the other side of mom to nurse

Dawn
I stand happily see the two foals nursing, I quickly have to tell our son not to bite so hard the milk will come and that its not going anywhere

Dark Storm~
I chuckled at the little filly,she was cute and pettite on the outside but on the inside she was bossy and demanding.She was a pip alright.Both of these foals would be hard to handle.

Dawn
I smile at the foals then look at darl strom " what should we name them?"

Blue Angel: I immediately freeze when I see Dawn lay down and the rest of the herd gather around her. I stand there until Dawn gets up and I see two foals lying at her hooves. I trot down the river until I come to a little bridge made of stones and carefully cross it. I canter over to them slowly and come to a smooth stop when I reach them. I stand near Dark Storm and perk my ears curiously at the two new additions to the herd

Moon Dancer ~ I smile and look at the foals, " Well done dawn...." The foals were beautiful, i smile as the drank they're first milk

Dark Storm~
It seemed the name Dark Prince didn`t fit the colt,"Maybe Phoenix for the colt"I suggested from Dawn`s previous list.The filly was on the pettite side so maybe Petunia or another flower.I thought."I was thinking naming the filly after a flower"I suggested again.I looked at Blue Angel and nickered a greeting to her.

"Pheonix fits him" I say as I smile at our son then I look at our daughter and say" what about rosebud or rosey"

Dark Storm~
"Well her proper name could be Rosebud and her nickname could be Rosey."I suggested.My eyes stared at my son mostly though.He was gorgeous!

Moon Dancer ~ I smiled at the new foals and looked at dawn and Dark Storm.. " Congratulations..they are beautiful.." I walked over to the stream and drank my fill.

Smile. Looking at the foals I say" the names are perfect rosebud and pheonix" both foals look at me as I say their names and smile

Dark Storm~
I jogged over to the creek and drank my fill than returned to my mate."should I be worrying about the others that have not arrived yet.It has been months."I snorted and pranced around.Where were they?

i watch my father with perked ears

i watch dad but then go back to nursing

dawn
i nicker to pheonix then i look at dark strom and say " theyll come sooner or later, i wouldnt worry too much"

Dark Storm~
"8 months"I exclaimed.It has been eight months since we left our previous home.Perhaps a backelor band came by and stole the all and then killed the yearling colt.I shruddered at the thought.

Moon Dancer ~ "We'll get here some time or another.." I said, Deep down inside I had a worry that something had gone horribly wrong

Dark Storm~
I grunted then turned back to Dawn and the foals.That made me smile even though I was very worried.I sighed.

Moon Dancer ~ I lowered my head and grazed.....

The foals laid down to nap after finishing nursing and I say " I no your worrie and so am I but we are a strong herd and we've servived this long and will continue to survive" I lick his nose as I ssay this
