Lilac yawned again and curled into a tight ball. Her eyes began to droop as sleep threatened to come.

Cheshire closed his eyes, letting out a tiny sigh. "Good night, Lilac."

Lilac purred "Goodnight Cheshire" She put a paw above her eyes and fell to sleep, moon glinting of her fur.

Cheshire woke up. He scrambled to his paws, his hind paws splashing in the shallows. He looked around, eyes foggy, struggling to remember where he was. His eyes landed on the sleeping form of Lilac, and memories of yesterday hit him. The male's stomach rumbled and he crouched down, deciding to catch breakfast for the both of them.

Lilac slowly opened her sleepy eyes. She lifted her head up and yawned. She smiled remembering yesterday, she looked for Cheshire until she saw him crouched in a hunting postition, she stayed silent so she didn't disturb him.

[Blackberry]

He knew she was awake, but ignored it and instead focused on the slim shadow curling around his paws. His claws unsheathed and his paw smacked the fish out of the water. Water droplets sprayed onto his face and he quickly pinned the fish, ending its life.

Lilac purred and walked up beside him. Seeing his fish she purred in approval "Good job Cheshire!"

Cheshire purred. "Thanks, Lilac."

Lilac smiled then looked to her paw and began trying to get a bur out.

He ripped the fish in half and nudged some towards Lilac before digging in to his share.

Lilac smiled "Thank you" she said before digging her claws into the fish to the fish and binging it closer. Once it was close enough she dug into it, the blood seeping onto her tongue.

Cheshire dug into the fish, savoring the taste.

Lilac quickly finished her half and began cleaning her fur gently.

[Blackberry]

He licked the bones clean, and when he was done he buried them. Cheshire then stretched, yawning widely.

Lilac finished cleaning her fur to where it near shined in the sunlight then asked "What do you want to do?"

[Blackberry]

Cheshire yawned again. "I dunno. Normally when I finish eating I go find a place to sleep."

[Guest]

Lilac nodded "Yeah, me too. I am pretty tired. Would you like me to go find my own place to sleep?" she asked, a wide yawn after.

[Blackberry]

Cheshire sat on his haunches. "If you want to," he said, licking his lips.

[Guest]

"Ok, well...bye then" Lilac said with a dip of her head. Then she turned and began trotting towards a tree about 50 yards away.

[Blackberry]

"Bye," he replied. He was slightly sad to see her go. For a moment, he didn't want to be alone. The bobcat sighed and turned away, going back up the slope.

Lilac leapt onto the tree, sinking her claws in to haul herself up. She laid on a high branch and watched Cheshire walk away.

Cheshire dashed up the slope, trying to ignore Lilac's beautiful face in his mind. He growled and shook his head, trying to erase it.

Lilac shook her head and looked away from Cheshire. She turned around and hung one leg off the branch, thinking about last night.
