Unfathomable~
It was the beginning of the end. He was the best of the worst, the worst of the best. Yet he remained a star. With a show-name of Unfathomable Supernova, it’s hard not to be noticed. But behind the scenes, Pyrrhus is more than what he’s cut out to be. He’s like the great Secretariat, only lesser known, yet better. This horse…he was born to be wild. Born to be a kicker, born to break rules and enjoy himself. But Pyrrhus, though his skills far exceeded those of Secretariat, was not one to race himself with pitiful humans. No, instead, this stallion passed down his lines, and raced in the wild.
Some may call it a race against time, others may call it a race to get his own foals into the world. But either way, they’re wrong. Pyrrhus, or Unfathomable Supernova, had been a petty human’s toy, at one point in his life. But unlike the other spoiled brats that dared call themselves horses, Pyrrhus was the one to act on instincts. He escaped. He killed two humans in the process, severely injuring three, and paralyzing one, but Pyrrhus was a strong stallion, and he didn’t know what possessed the meek humans to believe that he could so easily be tamed with whip and spur.
No, definitely not. And those who’s lives are now lost due to his magnificent escape should’ve seen it coming. Now he was free, and ready to kick it more than he ever had before. And he was ready to show the horses in the wild who was boss. He was ready to show them what it meant to be Unfathomable.
Pyrrhus snorted angrily and tossed his head, his ears pinned, painted mane flying around him. He pawed the ground angrily, swishing his tail. This mustang was ready to show some stuck-up stud who was boss. He could run them out of town in a minute, and he was more than ready to.
Pyrrhus had only been out in the wilderness on his own for three weeks, but he was ready to garner himself a herd, and kick some butt. Pyrrhus let out a blood-curdling neigh that served him two purposes: telling any lone mares he was open, and any stallions he was ready to take their mares from them. He bucked wildly and took off across the desolate plains, merely a blur and streak of color against the nigh-colorless landscape.
He could already tell: today was going to be a good day.

If you want them all, or Clawz and 1 or 2 mares, I'll make it that the mares belong to Clawz and Pyrrhus gets them from him. Don't worry Clawz wouldn't be in it all the time, but he would come here and now to stir up trouble and try to take his mares abck ^^[center]

Re:~Unfathomable
A paint mustang wandered alone, she called out after hearing a new stallion give his cry. She didnt stop to wait for him to call back.She used her nose and took off towards him,stretching her neck.Her tail flew back and her tail flew like a banner behind her.She galloped swiftly. Then she saw him and stopped and looked at him, approaching him slowly.

Re: Unfathomable~
Sometimes life wasn't as entertaining as it seemed. There were days like today where it was just so slow and boring, one could die from it. Dieing of boredom didn't seem like a way to go, though. Not to the fine mustang stallion, Clawz. His small herd, consisting of 2 mares and a filly nearing the age of 3 stood not too far away, simply grazing on the grass that stood below them. The wind blew across the land and the paint stallion knew something would go wrong for him today. Very, very wrong. He could just feel it. Snorting in distaste, Clawz pawed the ground, arching his neck until his muzzle nearly touched his chest.
Well, either way, if something decided to go wrong, he would just fix it. He could do anything he so desired. His herd may be small now, but he was strong and young and could take on any stallion in this area. Everybody knew that Clawz was the strongest of the stallions at the moment. Everyone else here was getting on in age and it was just a matter of time before the paint stallion stole every single one of their mares.
Suddenly an ear-piercing neigh echoed across the land and Clawz tensed, ears flicking in the direction of the sound. A challenger. No way. They would not muck up his plan of choosing this land and taking all the old stallions' mares. Clawz's ears flicked back and he demanded to the three in his herd to stay where they were. And he turned around and made his way towards the earlier neigh.
He replied with his own niehg, demanding this stallion leave or fight. He would win. He had to win.
~~~~~~~~~
Maggie heard the neigh of a challenging stallion and the filly raised her head and looked over at Clawz. Sure, the paint was overconfident and possessive, but he was a good guy once you got to know him. She had known worse in her short life and was grateful she was with him. As he demanded them to stay where they were and took off, Maggie's curious nature kicked in and she followed him quietly. She couldn't be spotted or else she'd get into trouble, obviously. Even so, she had to sneak around Southern Winds and Avril as it was. They were rather protective of her sometimes and wouldn't like it if she followed Clawz when he was going to fight someone.
Oh well, they'd get over it. Soon enough, the tricoloured stallion came into view and Maggie pricked her ears forward. Oh joy, this fight would be entertaining. But who was this stallion? She had never seen him in these lands before.
Re: Unfathomable~
Pyrrhus bucked wildly, and he shook his mane, pawing at the ground. His nostrils flared, ears pinned, and his tail swished back and forth in an aggravated manner. It served two purposes: keeping flies at bay, and making his point about the fact that he was angry. Pyrrhus neighed loudly in response to the stallion, until its black-and-white painted body came into view. He turned his head slightly to the left, smelling a mare. Young, fresh. Pyrrhus snorted and trotted her way a bit, only to pin his ears again and whirl on the stallion.
The element of surprise was his forte. Pyrrhus galloped over to the stallion with unmatched speed, stopping just short of the stud’s nose, the dust from his quickened stop flying up around them, making him snort and shaking his head wildly. “Ah, so you must be my rival?” Pyrrhus looked him over, trotting around the stallion, though his trot was more like a canter. Pyrrhus bit his ear and pulled it. Pyrrhus snorted and trotted a ways from him.
“So, care to dance, princess?” Pyrrhus taunted, rearing up to his full height, his attention slightly ensnared by the young filly’s scent that came from his right, now that he’d moved.
Re: Unfathomable~
Clawz saw the tri coloured stallion as he came into view and the piebald mustang snorted and his ears pinned back again and he stopped. Then the rival stallion raced towards him in a speed Clawz couldn't hope to match. Moments later he was standing right infront him, their noses almost touching. Dust flew up around them and Clawz pulled his head back with a snort. Who did this stallion think he was? As the stallion spoke and trotted around him, Clawz pawed the ground in aggitation. Then the tricoloured stallion bit his ear and pulled it.
Clawz kicked at the stallion just as he pulled back, away from him and the piebald stallion glared at him. Then the stallion spoke again, rearing up to his full height and calling him a princess, Clawz snorted. Oh he was going to regret it. He tured to face the stallion and then he saw Maggie. He looked back at her and pinned his ears, "Damn it, Maggie, go back!" he ordered to her before he too reared, throwing his hooves at the tricoloured stallion. "Leave!" he snarled at both the staqllion and filly.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Maggie looked at Pyrrhus as he came towards her for a moment before he changed his direction and went towards Clawz. The filly stopped where she was, a few metres behind the piebald stallion and watched them. Then as Clawz noticed her and told her to go back, Maggie stepped back but hesitated. Why did she have to go? Maggie stayed where she was and watched as Clawz and the stranger stallion reared at one another.

Re: Unfathomable~
Pyrrhus snorted angrily as the stallion kicked his shoulder. Despite his speed that would surpass even the famous Secretariat, he couldn’t detect another stallion’s movements, unless they were plain and easily deciphered, even by mares. That was really Pyrrhus’s only weakness, and he would take it to his advantage. His speed allowed him to dodge blows easily, as long as it didn’t take too much strenuous turning like a rodeo horse. He’d been a racehorse; racing on a fairly straight track, with slow, gradual turns, not turns that forced one to turn on one’s heel in a split second, like the barrel-racing ninnies.
Throwing up his head as the stud reared at him again, lashing out his hooves, Pyrrhus darted to one side of the stud, and neighed loudly, “Missed me, princess!” Pyrrhus galloped speedily over to the other side of the stallion, hoping to confuse him with his speed, and also the collecting mound of dust that was surrounding the stallion’s hindquarters, up to his shoulders. Feeling rather cockily confident (not the best kind of confidence, of course) and bucked at the stallion’s left shoulder.

Re: Unfathomable~
Clawz shook his head, confused and bewildered as the stallion gallped to the other side of him. He ignored the princess comment, knowing that he was simply looking to aggravate him. He looked to the side where Pyyrhus stood now and he snorted in distaste. Clawz noticed the stallion's overconfidence and thought that maybe he could use that to his advantage. As the stallion kicked his left shoulder, it gave way. He went down, but somehow managed to catch himself before he hit the ground and he turned and kicked out at the stallion, aiming from his chest or his side.
His aiming wouldn't be the best, but he had a high chance of hitting something from the angle he was coming in and the surprise he'd probably have on the stallion. "Stop darting around like a jack rabbit and fight!" Clawz hissed at the tri coloured stallion.
(omg it's short and I hate it >.<)

Re: Unfathomable~
[ it’s fine—don’t worry about it. My posts may be a tad short. Though unfortunately most of my inspiration comes at nighttime. Don’t know why. It’s one of my unique quirks. ^^ ]
Pyrrhus snorted happily as the stallion went down, but his triumph was short lived, as the stud easily caught himself and pulled himself back up. Pyrrhus grunted angrily, moving to the right slightly to re-attack the stud from the front, only to find the stallion whip out with an unexpected move, aiming for his front half, but Pyrrhus pivoted on his heel, turning just in time, though the stallion’s hoof clipped his back leg rather harshly, making Pyrrhus stumble and fall. Pyrrhus wasn’t graceful—that he’d wholeheartedly admit—but he was able to roll himself back up into a standing position in a matter of seconds, only to hear Clawz say something at him with distaste. “I am fighting,” Pyrrhus said cockily, holding his head a tad bit higher, though Clawz was still at least one hand higher, but no more. Pyrrhus felt tiny compared to this stallion, seeing as his height was a pinch bigger, and his muscles and build were definitely bigger than Pyrrhus’s.
“You’re just not fast enough to catch me, old man,” Pyrrhus snapped. He would’ve darted to the stallion’s side in a zigzag formation right then, to renew an attack on the stallion’s right shoulder this time, if not for his leg, which he could tell was bleeding slightly from where the stallion’s hoof had clipped it, the sharp tip of it just sharp enough to slice through the delicate layer of skin. Mentally, Pyrrhus was cursing himself. He protected, if anything, his legs, which were his only real weapon. “If you want to fight,” Pyrrhus finally piped up, “Then come at me.” He bared his teeth, pinning his ears, and let out a shrill neigh, pawing the ground ferociously, sending up large clouds of dust, making it nigh impossible to see—even for him.
