The Elven (Reserved, mature?)
Tenshi walked amongst the trees kneeling down occasionally there had been rumours about someone around the forest recently surrounding the village. Tenshi was a half elf, angel mix she had violet eyes and was a cautious person.
She looked around constantly aware of anything around her with her bow and arrows on her back she walked through. “Hmm fresh tracks, human or rather humanoid as well” she said softly to herself “Calcifer scout ahead and see if you can find anyone to the north” she said turning to the raven that was perched on a tree nearby giving a nodded of its coal black feathered head and searched ahead.
Looking up she listened with keen ears for a caw from her companion. Hearing it she ran towards the sound swiftly and stopped in the shadows remaining silent and watched momentarily. “He doesn’t look like a threat” she whispered to her raven thinking very carefully about what she next either way could end in disaster if she made a wrong move or opinion.
Her violet eyes watched and she took a step back pulling an arrow from her quiver and into her bowstring and drew it back getting aim before letting it relax as if she was having second thoughts Calcifer looked to the elven angel girl seeing the slight doubt of her choice in her eyes. Lowering her bow she thought again “Maybe it’s just another rumour… although I haven’t seen him around here before.. Calcifer what should I do?” she asked
Giving a light sigh she closed her eyes briefly to think a little “He doesn’t look like he means harm or he’d already be in the village” she said and walked out emerging from the bushes “Excuse me are you lost?” she asked him being polite as she walked out with the raven perched on her shoulder her bow still drawn in front of her with an arrow ready but held a relaxed posture.

Re: The Elven (Reserved, mature?)
Far too long, he had stayed far too long. He needed to move, to get out of here as fast as possible. After being spotted by one of the elves, he needed to leave, as the rumor of his existance had already spread like wildfire. Zehon crouched down in the bushes, his black hair falling slightly into his eyes, the deep red bandana doing nothing. His dark eyes glittered slightly, his hands pushing onto the ground, hunched quietly in the shadow's of the forest, that were deep and concealed his body. A harsh caw from overhead made his head snap up, his sharp eyes taking in the outline of a large black bird flying overhead. He knew Raven's were intelegant creatures, and this one had probably been sent out to alarm the village of his presence. Knowing that all animals could sense if something was looking, or watching them, he averted his eyes and stayed silent until the bird had moved on, flapping its large black wings and flying out of sight. Only then did Zehon stand, cautiously pushing himself up off of the ground, his loose dark shirt hanging slightly on his upper body. His rough, calloused hand rested on the hilt of his sword, the shape perfectly fitting into his palm. The sheath was connected to a leather belt that was resting around Zehon's hips, and he finally stood all of the way, his muscles taught and whipcord tight, ready to lash out at anything that moved, anything that was a threat. He heard a slight rustling in the bushes, and whirled around, his face set like stone, hard eyes glittering and unblinking. Jaw tight, he slid the curved blade out of its sheath silently, holding it lightly in his fingers, as he watched with unerving silence. Soon, as he watched, a slight, slender figure stepped out of the shadows, out of the foliege, the raven perched on the figure's shoulder, head cocked to one side, gazing at Zehon intently. Within a split second, he had launched himself at the figure, grabbing her by the shoulders and harshly pinning her to the rough trunk of a nearby tree. He brought the sharp, silver blade up to her throat, and held it near her flesh, but didn't actually cut into it. "What do you want!?"

Re: The Elven (Reserved, mature?)
Tenshi had spotted him before he even noticed her she knew every inch of her home forest and land so picked up on small details of a new creature or person easily she did not make a sound noting down a few things in her mind, Maybe he’s a traveller a lot come by here but they usually pass through the village especially around these times with the festivals she thought he had clearly sparked her interest.
She jerked not expecting anyone to act like that towards another who showed no hostility. The raven had flown the branch above and she signal for it to stay quiet listening to his question violet eyes looking intently into his dark eyes. “I mean no harm I merely asked if you were lost.” She answered her voice was very sweet but she did not change her relaxed posture very much even though she had dropped her bow and arrow.
Calcifer swooped down and grabbed them in his clawed feet before perching back on the branch watching the two of them through black eyes.
“Now then can you please answer my questions; Are you lost?” she paused waiting for an answer getting none she continued “what are you doing around here if you are not lost” pausing again but getting no answer “ Why are you avoiding the village, you know it’s there quite a few of us have seen you passing and can you please remove your sword for my throat, we are peaceful and do not harm those who mean no harm to us” she said her voice still gentle and soft as she spoke fluently without flaw.
The raven remained in silence as she had asked just waiting for a response. Getting tired of this her slender fingers moved and trailed down the blade of the sword and she stopped at the tip by her neck moving herself a little closer to the tree and moving her nail under a little she slipped her finger under and pushed the blade away slowly with neither a smile nor a frown on her face but her soft glare from the violet eyes on her face never dropped their gaze. her fingers moved to the top of the blade slowly pushing it down but did not move from her position from the tree forever remaining calm. "Now then answer my questions" she said to him determined to get at least some answers from him as Calcifer handed her her bow and arrows once more she preped them once mroe but stayed relaxed.

Zehon's jaw clenched tightly as she moved the blade from her throat, matching his gaze, but with softer violet eyes. His eyes remained hard, his gaze locked on her face, his fingers gripped tightly around the curved, surrated hilt of the deadly blade, that remained close to her throat. Forcing himself to lower it, as she hadn't seemed to mean any harm, he lowered his arm, but kept the blade tightly secured in his fingers. He removed his hand from her shoulder, letting her fall to the ground, and stepped back, looking at her with his cold eyes, dark hair ruffling slightly in the breeze. The forest around them was quiet, very quiet, and the sound of his breathing filled his own ears. Narrowing his eyes slightly, he stepped backwards, his booted feet landing on the hard packed dirt below. Sunlight filtered through the branches of the tree's overhead, and Zehon watched her very, very intently. "I'll just be on my way." He said gruffly, his voice harsh and low, carrying the sound of menace.

It's just a bit of punctuation that's needed. I hope I didn't offend you in any way. I just wanted to let you know, that it would make your posts easier to read. But you're doing a good job.)

Re: The Elven (Reserved, mature?)
She easily watched his body language with soft eyes that hid her intense gaze. She noticed the tension as he forced himself to lower his blade and dropped into a crouch, standing back up with grace after he had moved his hand and let her fall to the ground. Watching every one of his movements as she did the prepped bow and arrow held skilfully in her hands.
Hearing the menace in his voice her hands moved to a more ready position with her bow and arrow. “If you wish to be on your way I would like for you to answer my previous questions which I do not feel at liberty to repeat to you since I know that you heard them clearly" she said another pause came from her.
“Now will you please answer” she requested ignoring the harshness in his voice more concerned about the other part of his voice since to her it signalled he might be a possible threat to her home more so than some of the wild creatures that wondered around here. A slight movement of her fingers signalled her companion to move; rustling his wings ready to fly and call for help if need be.
Waiting for an answer in patience she made no sound dappled sunlight drunken into her eyes to focus more on her possible target. However, by the looks of him she knew better than to use simple tricks if need be and he might not even be a threat at all.
(Yeah I was never very good at punctuation but I’ll check it and do my best to make it better, Thanks.)

Re: The Elven (Reserved, mature?)
A slight, nausiating growl of aprehension rose from Zehon's throat, and he narrowed his eyes, his jaw set, muscles tight. His fingers curled around the hilt of the sharp, curved blade, and he watched with malice as she gracefully stood to her feet. His own elven ears were covered by the bandana, and he wasn't in any mood to show her he was an elf also. Not wanting to strike, but in no way about to answer her prodding questions, he slowly slid the blade back into its sheath, but kept his palm resting on the top of the hilt. His dark hair blew slightly in the soft breeze, falling over his forhead into his equally dark eyes, that were hard and not willing to speak, as he had clenched his jaw shut, and was now standing there, taught and stiff, watching the elven woman with uncanny silence.

Re: The Elven (Reserved, mature?)
She remained in silence “I do request that you answer these questions, for I cannot leave you be without a report” she said in a soft tone, her fingers moving once more to pull the arrow a little as she strained the bow string slightly. “And I am sure you wish to be on your way but this is customary of anyone who passes by these lands without going through the village, for they cause rumours and suppositions just as yourself” The determined look in her eyes demanded he answered her and that soon or later she would get answers from him. “Now then answer this is the final time I will ask you politely” she said a slight warning picking up in her voice as she took a soundless step towards him.
She remained so calm never tensing too much but never quite relaxing her lean muscles her eleven ears hid by her hair slightly and waited once more in silence for his response expecting him to answer this time.
The raven just watched ready at a moment notice he would go get help for his dear companion, but he had to wait in silence as well not a sound came from him either.

Re: The Elven (Reserved, mature?)
Zehon couldn't help but roll his eyes, shaking his head and giving her a look that seemed to him, told her he was humored by all of this. She needed a report!? He shoved his hands deep down inside of his pockets, and just shook his head again. "Sorry, I dont give away my own personal buisness." He noted that her fingers were poised on the her bow string, but didn't bother to care about it, and raised an eyebrow. "I'm passing through your land. I am leaving now." He said curtly, turning on his heel and starting to stride away.

Re: The Elven (Reserved, mature?)
“I never asked for anything personal only simple questions” she said simply to him her tone becoming more serious now. She drew her bow quickly and the arrow barely missed his face scratching his cheek a little and making him turn back around "Do not humor me. it is both rude and offensive, show some manners” she said drawing another arrow and knocked his bandana off noting his ears she smirked “Your an elf?" she said shock in her voice “And if you were passing through then haven’t you stayed far too long,Elf?” she said her raven collecting the arrows and placing them back in the quiver that rested on her back in a wait for his response. Her hands firmly weaving into the correct position on her bow and arrow again, ready to move at any moment. "But I aso require one more thing, name yourself" she said this was only because he looked elf, like her, did she ask but he confused her greatly, no one else in her village would act so rash towards another but still she kept focused never letting her thoughts trail too much, unless needed.

Re: The Elven (Reserved, mature?)
Zehon heard the woman speak again, her keen, soft elven voice floating in the air around him, seeming to dance on the leaves. He was enchanted by it, and cocked his head to one side, before an arrow whizzed past his head, nicking his cheek with its sharp stone tip. Blood started to trickle down his cheek, and he spun around, hearing her speak again, but he was no longer pleased to listen to her voice. Starting towards her, she drew back her bow and aimed again, releasing the arrow. It would have struck him in the head and imedietly killed him if he hadn't moved, and he quickly started, moving to the side, the arrow tip slicing through the burgendy cloth that was wrapped around his head, making it fall to the ground. His pointed elven ears could no be clearly seen, and setting his jaw, and narrowing his eyes as she accused him of being an elf. "I am no elf, woman!" He hissed out, striding forward, his booted foot kicking the bandana to the side. He noted the suprise in her voice, and watched with his sharp, dark eyes as her raven retreived the arrows, quickly picking them up in his beak and flying back to her, settling down on her shoulder and dropping them, one at a time back into the quiver. As she boldly asked his name, he drew the curved blade once again, flipping it in his palm slightly.
"My name is not for you to hear, Elf."

Re: The Elven (Reserved, mature?)
Calcifer gave a warning caw to the young woman who looked briefly towards her companion, It was getting late the darkness would soon fall over the land and the blood moon tonight was a favourite for other creatures to hunt during this night. Her bowstring relaxed her breath showing from the bitter cold of the winter air.
“If you will not answer one who denies his own race then let me at least warn you of the dangers that befall the coming night, many will hunt tonight and many travellers such as yourself have been lost during such a time when not in the village” she warned her gentle eyes closed briefly.
The arrow she held fell into the arch between her thumb and forefinger. “And as for if a name is for one to hear let me tell you that a name is something for everyone to hear and is a way to identify an individual or would you rather I keep calling you Elf?”
Calcifer picked up the burgundy cloth liking it held it in his beak as though it was a trophy for him. She looked to Calcifer “Give it back, It is not for you to take” she said looking to the raven’s black eyes who cawed briefly. She kept her eyes on the curved blade and gave a light sigh.
“If you insist on staying in the forest then so be it. However, you are welcome to the village but that rash behaviour will not be welcome unless you have a reason.” She didn’t sound too happy about it but they were peaceful so she would be scowled for not offering at least especially on such a dangerous night. She herself was one of the guards though tonight so would be up for endless hours to gaze at the blood red moon.
Her once tense posture had relaxed once more showing no signs of fear but not confidence either she was just calm knowing exactly what she was doing and coudl send for help if need be. She pulled the arrow from her bow and slipped it with her bow into the black quiver that lay on her back.

Re: The Elven (Reserved, mature?)
Zehon grimaced angrilly. He didn't like when anyone pried into his own buisness, and was not grateful in the least that he had been tracked down like a dog, or a beast. And a woman, and woman was telling him what to do! He felt himself stiffen, his grip on the blade strengthening, and he set his jaw, narrowing his eyes that held a shard of fury and anger, glinting slightly. He shook his head, before raising the blade, flipping it into the air and letting go. The metal caught the fading sunlight, flashing momentarily, before starting on its plummet downwards. He tended to do dangerous stunts like this when he was upset or angry, and needed something to do while he thought. Catching the knife in his solid palm, he flipped it into its sheath, and tucked his thumbs into the pockets of his pants, all the while staring at the woman, with hard angry eyes. "You elves do not know the meaning of privacy!" He suddenly snapped it her, about to flip the blade again, before shoving it hard back into its scabbord. A loose leather neclace hung around his neck, one of the soft white feathers of an owl. The feather itself ruffled gently in the breeze, and he raised a hand to his chest, lightly grasping the feather in his palm. The significance was that of one of the forest, elf like, and he tucked it into his shirt, hoping she hadn't noticed.

“Some do and some don’t, depends on your nature I’m afraid I’m merely asking for the sake of my people” she said forever calm and collected even as he snapped at her raven feathers tied into her hair were more noticeable when her head was hung a little. Opening her eyes she jerked back from his dangerous stunts. She noticed his hard angry eyes “I was simple warning you of the dangers of this place” she said to him “If you do not appreciate such warnings then say so before they are given. Picking up a glance of the necklace he held before he covered it and tucked it in his shirt she was about to speak but stopped thinking carefully He seems more dangerous than I first thought, the darkness is coming though she thought her gaze wondering to the red sunset.
Calcifer caught her attention when he cawed loudly and she lifted her head swiftly to her companion “What is it?” she asked her tone changing and a hand reached back to her bow and arrow once more alert all of a sudden as she listened. “Listen, I don’t care if you take my advice or not but you should start running no matter how skilled swordsman you are with such anger how can you expect to fight successfully without clouded eyes” she said walking towards him.
Calcifer landed on her shoulder and deciding to say something she moved her hand to what held the pendant and lifted it up not even touching him “Deny all you like but the proof is there but if you wish to ignore such things and deny your own blood then so be it” she said letting it drop back around his neck.

Re: The Elven (Reserved, mature?)
Zehon just shook his head, and leaned back against a trunk of a solid oak tree, listening to the woman with practiced intrest, though he wasn't feeling it in the least. As soon as she had finally finished speaking, he raised an eyebrow, before pursing his lips, and gesturing to the darkening sky. "I am not afraid of the blood moon." He said quietly, his voice lowered and holding a hint of a gentle, calm spirit. He tried to step back as she strode towards him, clasping his fist in her hand and pulling it open, exposing the soft white feather that had been clenched in his fingers. She pulled it out, and looked at it once, then back at him, making him lower his eyes. Her stare seemed errie to him, her calm spirit, and he set his jaw, lowering his hand and feeling the necklace flutter slightly around his neck. "Zehon."

“Some are and some are not” she said softly taking a step back her gaze wondering once more to the sky as if expecting something. “It is a pleasure to meet you Zehon, My name is Tenshi and this is Calcifer” she said motioning to her raven who gave a delighted caw at his name. “Here, that wasn’t so bad was it” she said holding his burgundy cloth in her hand. “Feel welcome to the village but it is time I return, this night is soon and the guards will be a wait” she said.
“At least take care this night even if you hold no fear for that is only part of it, as few know.”
Calcifer gave a caw and tugged at a bit of stray black hair “I understand, before I leave would you like to come to the village or would you rather stay?” she asked him. She could hear the rustling bushes and calls of excitement of the creatures of the night but she didn’t even flinch or show fear.
(Sorry fail..)

(It's not always the length of the posts that are what make it a good post. You're doing great girl, dont feel bad about anything. If you notice, my posts aren't even as long as yours.)
Zehon listened, and gave a curt nod as she intruduced herself and her crow. His dark eyes traveled to her face, then he watched as she tilted her head, gazing up at the darkening sky. She soon turned back to him however, and he stood there, the wind starting to grow and clinging at his shirt, ruffling the material slightly. He breathed in deeply, and set his jaw, his muscles taught and tight. Tilting his head to one side, he watched her with his inquisitive eyes, and looked away in silence as she invited him to the village. "I'm not welcome there." He said, his voice returning to its normal tone, guarded and curious at the same time. His black hair blew into his eyes, and he grabbed the cloth from her fingers and tied it swiftly around his head.

Re: The Elven (Reserved, mature?)
“That was not my question, I asked if you would like to come not if you are welcome there or not” she said. Only in recent years had she been fully accepted because of her being a half blood. Calcifer gave a nod and caw as if he could understand the conversation, “Now then, would you like to come to the village? If you are invited they cannot make you leave and you aren’t actually as bad as you seem” she said in her usual soft and gentle tone but this time it seemed a little hurried than before as the night came closer; but it was not of fear, more of she had something important to do.
As she waited for an answer she leaned back against a tree behind her, moving a bit of hair from her face tucking it back behind her ears as she waited.
(I know... but I just had a mind back and thanks...)

He let out a muffled sigh, and closed his eyes breifly. Rubbing his forhead as if he had a headache, he straightened and turned tired eyes on the woman. He sheathed the blade, then hooked his thumbs into his pockets, giving a curt nod. "If its no trouble, I will go with you..." Not sure if it had been the right desision to make in the first place, he set his jaw and looked away.

"Then we must hurry, the night will come soon adn me and Calcifer are on guard tonight" she said stroking the soft coal coloured feathers of the raven on her shoulder "Calcifer go ahead and lead the way" she said softly following her Raven back always checking over her shoulder to make sure he was behind. When they got there the elder looked to her Calcifer on the elders shoulder giving a nod he returned back to the shoulder of his master and pecked her cheek. "It's unsual for you to bring back a guest Tenshi, what is his name?" "It is not for me to decide whether I say his name or not that is up to him" she said stepping to the side and looked to him to see if he would introduce himsefl to the elder who looked to him with an intense glare "Tenshi do you know who you've brought here" "Does an elder judge someone on such things, it is not something that should concern anyone, now if you'll excuse us I have to set up a place so he can sleep" she said and walked to a house leading him there and went to the spare room "It's a little old but it's a basic bedroom in these parts" the room looked empty with a bed and a bedside table beside it always checcking outside for just before the sun fell behind the horizen.
