"i dont know...thats really weird..." i said, then started to get sleepy, it was getting kinda late

Maya~
I became concious and saw people all around me. I was lying in a stall. I remember walking along a road, then i saw headlights, and it all went black. "Hurry! the foal is dying!" i heard someone say. Just then i remembered that i was pregnant, but i was only 10 months along, one month early. "We have to get it out or they will both die!" i heard them say. I couldnt feel the foal moving, which probably meant it was dead. I felt the vet stick his hand into my rear end and grab the foals legs.i tried to push but it hurt too bad. He kept pulling and soon he got the 2 front legs out. "The foal is too dry and small, its probably dead already" he sighed. I neighed in pain as he pulled it out of me. I looked back and saw my foal, cold and lifeless. I neighed as if i was saying "NO!!" a tear rolled down my cheek as they led me away, into a different stall. They shut me in, and i layed down in the corner, crying.

She soon fell into a deep sleep...... She was grazing peacefully... her tail swishing lightly, tearing up grass and swallowing it..... ]a large shire evily glaring at her, his fiery eyes darting left and right around her body.....he crept up on her.....his body pressed low to the ground....he pounced on her, showing his tool into her... she ran left and right, but he was to big.....she eventually ran into a net. its wires tieing and cutting deep into her leg......screaming.......crying..... "NO NO NO NO NO NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" she screamed in her sleep, running around on the floor, her legs mixing the hay, she was dreaming......dreaming of the shire forcer...

I woke up from my sleep when i hear marianna thrashing all over. "Stop! Stop!" i screamed, trying to wake her up, knowing she was having a nightmare. "Its just a dream!!!" i said, then kicked the stall door, making alot of noise to wake her

Maya~
I got up and looked over the side of my stall, wondering what all the comotion was about. "Whats going on??" i ask, confused

"Get off!!!!!!!!" Marianna yelled in her sleep, she then woke up "Is he gone?! please tell me he is gone!" she cried, her body trembling in fear, her legs shaking.

"shes having a nightmare" i told maya
"Its ok! it was just a dream! he was never here you are fine!" i said to marianna "Its ok, you are safe here"

"he wasn't? oh. Sorry" she sighed, laying on her side quietly, her breathing nice and light, her stomach bulging on the yellow and white sawdust and straw.

I look at the pony "im sorry, i never really introduced myself, im golden river, but u can call me goldy" i smile

I smile back "im maya, i just lost my foal..." i said sadly

I shake my head like I was going cuckoo "I'm Marianna, just abit of a random Welsh pony, I lose my muffins sometimes and I go mental, as Golden River has just found -------out" she paused halfway through as she winced and felt a large hoof kick her sides.

I slopily open the door panel, hanging my head loose over the stall door, I remain at my normal state, quiet and sielent, my forlock covering both my eyes.

i laughed and then that laugh turned into grunt as i feel a painful kick

"are u okay??" i ask her, concerned

I rolled onto my back, kicking the sawdust "yeah were just...,.ya know.....sorta....pregnant...." she said under her breath, violently kicking the straw and sawdust majorly, she was in distress from all the weight this foal was weighing.

"oh, im sorry... do they hurt?" i ask them

I carried on rolling, not listening to anything everyone said "A bit.....I mean alot!" she cried when a kick focused her back to attention again.

"Yea..alot" i wince in pain when i feel a kick "marianna, does it help to roll like that? Im in pain.." i sigh

"I'm in pain too....Rolling takes my mind of it..." she randomly said, her belly pressing to the groubd with each roll.

It had been a few months later, about time for the foals to be due. I was so fat i could hardly move. I rolled around like marianna had done that one time to take away the pain, then i felt a huge kick. "OW!!" i neighed. Then i felt a pain tear down my humungous belly, and water gushed out of me. "The foal is coming!" i said in panic

Marianna~
My eyes suddenly widened(like the dog's eyes in my signiture! XD) as a huge kick erupted my side, my waters gushed out of me and I rose to my feet in panic "Help! Help!" I whinnied, thrashing my hooves out at the door, a woman came and opened the door, I took advantage of the open stall door for me to escape, I hurled off into a field outside of the barn and into a farmers field, before I collapsed on the floor, my sides heaving, my nostrils flaring, whinnying and trying to get to my feet "Please! help! I want to go back to my old stall!" she cried, before she screamed, she pushed and the tip of a feathered hoof appeared, then one leg was out.

"Marianna!!!" I neighed out to her. The woman also opened my stall, and i tried to run but i fell on my side in pain. "Help!" I screamed. The veternarian came into my stall with a bag of stuff. I pushed hard and a feathered black hoof came out. I felt the vet pull on th hoof, then i pushed and the rest of the leg came out. I kept pushing and the other hoof came out. The vet kept pulling as i pushed, and a black nose statred to emerge. I screamed in pain when he pulled, the foal was stuck tight. Sweat drenched my whole body, and i breathed heavy, labored breaths. The vet stopped pulling and stood up. "I'm
Sorry, the foal is way too big" he said. "But there is something i might be able to do.... a c section" he pulled out a needle and stuck it into my back to numb the whole area, then i started to get sleepy...

I push again and and another hoof appears, I scream in pain "GOLDEN!!!!" I scream my loudest, sure enough it would reach her ears, I curl up in a ball and push again, the nose appears, then the whole mouth appears, I scream again for other horses, but it was no use, I would die out here, I hear my foal whinny, I snort and looked at my backside, seeing the poor innocent head of a shire foal looking at me, I push again, but the foal is stuck, It wont move, It tries to wriggle but instead it tears my hole and I scream.

I heard marianna call out my name. I whinnied back to her. The vet strode toward me with a knife, then everything went black....

I woke up and my side ached badly. I looked back and saw a huge cut down my stmach where they tore it open to get the foal out. I looked around for my foal and saw him laying down beside me. He looked so weak. I whinnied to him,and he struggled to stand. I stood up and nudged him to my teats so he could suckle upsome milk. He finally tood up and started nursing. Then i remembered about marianna. I gathered up all the strength i had, and busted the stall door open. I galloped to marianna, my foal by my side. The humans were following me. I stopped by my friends side, and nuzzled her neck. "Its gonna b ok!" I say to her "the vet is coming, he helped me, so he will be able to help you too!" I neighed

Marianna~
I closed my eyes tightly the foal squeaking as its withers got suck halfway, giving tiny weak pushes "I don't think....I'm gonna....make it...." she neighed quietly, her eyes fluttering open, she gathered all the stregnth she could and gave one big mighty push, but the foal must have moved by 2 centimeters, I heard the foal's desperate crys, its tiny voice screaming "Mama!!!".

"You are gonna make it!" I said encouragingly "just hang on, the vet will help you.. your foal needs you!"

Marianna~
I gave a slow weak nod, A vet came over and helped pull the foal whilst I painfully pushed, the foal's withers had become free, now the rump was stuck, I sucked in a deep breath and gathered all my strength, I gave a big mighty push, making the foal slide out, The vet quickly drained the mouth from any fluid and dragged the Palimino foal next to my side, it was all wet and steamy "hello my baby...." I said, gently gathering the foal up to my side and hugging it, the vet pulled out a walkie talkie thing and pressed a button "Can you get me a horse truck big enough for two mares and two foals please..." the vet said into the transiver, sooner or later a large blue truch showed up, it was fully heated and was neatly bedded, the foals breath floated up into the frosty cold air.
