Where is everyone?(Mature?)

The world had ended now, the greatest city ever known was in ruins, the once marvellous lights and skyscrapers were gone forever and the cluttered streets of the city were broken and its falling building lay there. Old cars had rusted and the odd plants were beginning to regrow now.
Everything was silent and it seemed as if no one was here.
But truly among everything there was one person, this world was at its end and everything destroyed but she remained in the place she had been born and learned everything she needed to help keep herself and other people alive, despite not being a leader by nature she would step up if need be.

This girl was named Ren; she was 16 years old and was not someone who gave up. She was slender and had slightly pale skin compared to most, her mismatched eyes of emerald green and crystal blue were always focused and she always kept her long, rich brown hair tied back with a black ribbon as she wore her black faded jeans and long sleeved top which had a black body and collar but had white sleeves as well as wearing her usual pair of black trainers. Around her waist was a belt which held a pouch of bullets, two holsters which held her silver twin guns with a black ivy pattern engraved on them and beneath the holsters hidden carefully were a pair of sheaths with silver twin daggers in them. Both the twin guns and the silver twin daggers were connected to their twin by a silver chain which ran behind her once they were put away in their sheaths and holsters.

She walked around in silence looking for anyone; anything that remained there and held her silence while her curious mismatched eyes searched the area after two years she still searched for others to pass the time as she searched for what she would be eating that day knowing where everything was, the best water source, food sources and even where to find some clothes if need be.
After two years of this she should know those things at least.
She knew a lot now and had seen every creature in this place well most of them and their population had increased quickly over two years. Her Twin guns and daggers were nothing special but they got the job done and held sentimental value as did her rusted silver Locket which lay around her neck. It could no long be opened but it kept her going through the two years.

She heard something and turned heading towards the sound and clambered up a fallen beam and jumped down into an old room and looked around it keeping a hand near one of her guns. The chains of her daggers and guns rattled lightly as she jumped down and stayed quiet.
But you see it wasn't the guns that were specail or the daggers but the bullets and the edged of the blades were very strong and her parents made them for her and taught her how to restore them with scrap bits of metal. She moved quickly not knowing what was there. both her gusn were loaded and she kept herself as quiet as she could.

I walked threw the streets with my hood up so no one could see my face as I walked threw the dark streets of the city I had grown up in. I shifted my pants so the guns that laid against my hips didn't dig into my skin as I walked, I looked down at my feet being careful not to step wrong and hurt myself. I had been alone for two years not knowing if people were still alive as I searched for any human. I hadn't talked to any body or seen any body since this all happened, the only thing I had found was a young female German Shepard and her name was Moon since she had a moon on her chest,"Come on moon keep moving." I said softly to her as I kept my voice low

Clambering up onto the beam I saw another being, or someone I thought was alive and hoped to god it was real. I jumped down stumbling a little before I went to try and catch up to them and caught up turning them round and pulling the hood down looking in the eyes to check they were alive "Your alive? how can you be? and the dog how-?" I looked in complete disbeilef at them both and then kneeled down to greet the dog and scratched ehr ears releived to see another living thing at least.

"Yes we're alive if we're breathing and moving." I said laughing some as I watched her pet Moon. Moon just licked the girls face and wag her long whip of a tail. I kneeled down and pet Moon's head,"How are you alive?" i asked her kinda shocked since she was the only human or even living being since two years ago. I had been careful not to rip or anything like that to my clothes since I didn't know how to find clothes and Moon needed a knew collar so I could put a leash on her so she didn't run off

"I figured out how to store food , fixing up freezers to freeze things os they last longer, I also stored clothes and other stuff I found within the first three days" I said "I just followed my insticnt" I said I found and old cloth on her bag and put it around Moon's neck "there ya go, that;ll do for now" I said. My clothes were a little torn but were in a raltively good condition. "Want to join me tonight, It's been two years since I;ve seen another living thing at all, so the company would be nice, I'm Ren you are?" I asked looking up.

"I'm Jason." I said as I nodded smiling when I knew Moon liked her already,"Seems that Moon really likes you." I said as Moon didn't really move from where she had sat when Ren had started to pet her

She smiled "come on, the creatures will be out soon, we should get under shelter" I said a little nervous before I stood up and brushed myself off "coming?" I asked looking back as i took a few steps towards my camp.

[Death Rules]

Me and Moon followed her,"So where have you been for so long?" I asked since I couldn't think how she could sneak under my nose. I kept Moon close to me so she wouldn't run away

I never stayed in one place, that's all I had to find a sutaible shelter after all" I said and soon ducked under a few old peices of wall and appeared in the old library. Shelves had colasped against each other and created a hidden shelter under them. "Well this is the home" I said and ducked under the shelves and looked in the shelter it was small but it was only temperary because there were more people now I'd have to move now since I didn't want either of them to just vanish again after finding someone else after two years.
The small dim fire kept the place warm and old blankets lay in the corner "I'll be moving in the morning anyway... there's a bigger shelter in this area so we can stick together.. sorry it's just... another living thing and a human at that"

"It's all good." I said nodding as I sat down finding a book on the shelves that still were in tack. I gazed threw the book stopping at a picture of how this city once was with the tree's green and the noise of cars zooming by early in the morning and waking up to that. "Moon sit and stay." I said pointing at her as I moved among the shelves seeing if this library still had the kind of books I read and I found one,"Cool my favorite book is still in tack." I said grinning as I sat by moon going threw it and getting caught up in the pages. My eyes like flashed threw the pages as the book caught me in it's grip

I sat down writing something down in a smalltattered book and kept the fire controled reading through a story book I found and read through it until late the next night. I wiped some oil from my cheek annoyed and gave a sigh. I looked up when he spoke "Well atleast that's one good thing" I said smiling a little. I prepared some food by the fire waiting a little before hadning him his share and also giving some to Moon before taking my own share and sitting back to eat it. "So hwo did you survive for so long msot of the creatures took the others" I said

"Ah good old Moon is a good hunter and we survived on very little." I said nodding as I moved my sweat shirt so she didn't see anything that I didn't want her to see

I smiled a little and nodded slight "Ok fair enough" I said not having much else to do for the day I just tossed him the spare blanket and lay back on my pouch which I had taken from around my waist and gave a light sigh looking up to the dull ceiling. I just thought silently drifting off soon after.
As the night went on the two shelves that formed the roof of the shelter began to colaspe on each other one of them giving way and threatening to crush us both easily I remained asleep unaware about what was happening.

I quickly grabbed the shelves making sure they didn't hurt her as blood trickled down my arm

I jerked a little feeling something fall on my face and wiped it off looking up at him and quickly got Moon out first before I pulled him out from under them making sure they didn't fall on him and looked to his arm "Sorry, I thought it was stable" I said

[Death Rules]

I laughed,"It's all good." I said licking my arm since i had survived from drinking my own blood as I was a vampire but I kept that from humans for a reason that they wouldn't kill me. I walked around in the library looking for some where where it would be safe and saw some tables that I could work on and make a small hut like thing so it would protect our heads at night if something fell. I went to work using my strength to break the wood and mold it together

I looked to him watching "here, let me help and no you can't argue" I said and looked to him suspecting something knowing full well no human could do that "Your really not human, huh? don't lie either that streangth isn't humanly possible and trust me I knoe" I said considering I was extremly clever for my age It never took me long to find out things even when I was younger. Ihelped him as best I could though not really caring much for what he was as long as I didn't get killed or injured by him I'd be fine. "Well, what are you then?"

[Death Rules]

"It is a secret." I said simply as I finished and went under it seeing if I'd fit and ushered her in when I cocked my head to the side hearing something falling but when she didn't get under as fast I lunged and dragged her under the table as some of the roof hit the floor where she once was

I frowned a little wanting to know but didn't ask anymore of it for now. I bit my lip a little jerking shocked when he dragged me under a table when some of the roof fell where I was i looked to him "Thanks" I said my lip bleeding a little from biting it so hard.

[Death Rules]

I looked to the blood and went forward licking the blood that was going down her chin,"You taste so sweet." I said as I felt the blood go down my throat. I closed my eyes enjoying her taste, when I opened my eyes you could see a red tint to them but it wasn't that noticeable only if a person was looking for it

I looked a little suprised when he licked the blood off my chin and looked to him listening to what he said "Thought so" I said softly I had pretty much firgured out just front that what he was and looked to him as he opened his eyes seeing the red tint adn cocked my head to oneside.

[Death Rules]

I put my hands up in surrender,"I won't hurt you, I only drink from others if they give me permission." I said meaning it as I sat down and petted Moon as she laid her head on my lap as I scratched behind her ears as she closed her eyes content with me stroking her long blackish brownish ears.

"I know you won't so I don't mind if your hungry just ask or you'll die, also I'm guessing you've been living off your own blood, correct? I read an awful lot so yes i learnt a few things about other races and stuff" I said bluntly not really minding what he said to it. "come on maybe we should sleep before we move tomorrow" I said

[Death Rules]

"Yes I survived on my own blood but I had too." I said nodding as I didn't sleep since I was already dead so to speak yet undead. I kept stroking Moon since it helped her sleep some how. When she had fallen asleep and I left Moon to guard her, I left the library to drink. I saw a creature and took over his mind as he came to me,"Relax and I won't hurt you." I said licking his neck tasting him before I buried my long sharp fangs into his neck. I groaned as I felt his blood go over my tongue and down my throat warming me from the inside out. I soon drank my fill yet letting the man live with minimal injury

I had fallen asleep curled up a little tugging a blanket over my to keep warm and stayed close to Moon as well jsut wanting to feel some warmth. After figuring out as much as i had nothing would suprise me but the company of some raltively human was great after so many years.
I didn't really wake up until the early morning when the twilight dawn came and I maoned a little and opened my mismatched eyes adn scratched Mooon behind her ears looking around a little
