Blood pounded hard against my skull making me slightly tipsy. I glanced behind me several times.. just to make sure. "Just do it you gutless coward."I murmured to myself. I slowed my pace to brisk jog still occasionally glancing behind me. I traveled as silently as I could before I sure I had lost them. With a sigh I plopped back on my hauches. Suddenly a twig snapped and not wasting a moment I was back on my paws; fur raised an ready for a fight to the death if needed.

Starlenne didn't exacly know what she was doing. She didn't know what kind of things were on her mind. She just knew she had no time to waste as she through the forest swiftly, running for nothing. She kept running and exploded from some trees, seeing another wolf she tried stopping herself, but ran into him, bowling him over. She got up and shook herself. "I-I'm so sorry are you hurt?" she asked quickly.

With a yelp of surprise I was flattened to the ground by the fae. I slowly stood up, favoring my front left paw just a bit. I was about to attack the rude intruder but then I realized that it was just a fae. "Ehh.. Naw I'm fine."I mumbled holding my paw up and making my way around her to a tree stump which I lied beside.

Starlenne nodded quickly. "Okay... phew, great. I-I'm sorry again." she repeated before turning and running off, running through the forest again. She noticed he was limping.... would he be okay? Should it even matter to her? She sighed and didn't bother turning back. She exploded into a meadow and sighed looking at the forest and then back. "I lost him." she whispered. Even though nothing was there. Just her imagination.

I licked my paw hoping it would help since licking often solves EVERYTHING! But it didn't this time. I sighed heavily as she took off through the forest. Now I would probably die.. just simple stupid things like that could end your life. With this bum paw now I wouldn't be able to hunt and therefore I would starve to death. With a whine attempted shifting my paw into a different position...

Starlenne got up and went back to the forest, worrying about the male. She stopped to see his paw and whined quietly, nuzzling him. "I'm sorry." she whispered and nuzzled his paw. "Are you hungry? Do you want to stay with me for awhile til that heals?" she asked, cocking her head.

Starlenne smiled and watched him get up. She shurgged. "Where may you want to go?" she asked, head lifting. "Oh by the way, I'm Starlenne." she said in a beautiful voice, head lifted up proudly.

I shrugged, "Doesn't matter to me.. "I murmured.
"Nice to meet you Starlenne.. I'm Makah." My voice was very deep and rumbled from my throat loudly, but it also had a tint of charm in there which ladies often found attractive..

Starlenne narrowed her eyes. "Hi Makah... you pick. I'm not the best picker." she murmured and smiled gently at him, tail wagging.

"Ehh well I hear south of here there is a nice little lake with plenty of meat around.. sincethere isn't much here. I'll lead the way."I offered. I started on my way.. walking with three paws was a bit easier now that i was used to it.

Starlenne followed him, singing in a girly but beautiful voice. "She was lost in so many different ways, out in the darkness with no guide... I commented. I closed my eyes for a moment and with a sigh I put some weight on my paw. Surprisingly it felt better, but was still quite tender.
