I glare at the people walking past the glass siding of my cage. It was too strong to break. I have tried. These disgusting creatures simply treated me like an animal. I clench my jaw at a little kid who pressed his clammy hands and face against the window. Scrutinizing eyes watching my every move. I felt so exposed in this little 'habitat' and wished desperately to escape. It wasn't possible, however, unless one of them were to help me. Yea, fat chance there. I turn around and stand up, Jade colored bikini top and bottoms covering a less than comfortable amount of my skin. I dip my hand into the water and bring it up to my lips. Sipping at the cool fluid and sitting cross-legged. Hopefully the stupid apes would leave soon so I could have at least some privacy. A headache was already starting to throb in my head.

They had not told anyone why we where there, in fact I doubt they even themselves knew why. They just kept telling us a privet company wanted us to help and study a new discovery they found. I was probably the youngest of all the other scientist, I had certain field's of work I specialized, I had never been asked by important people to work for them well more like demanded. Now I had been here for a month after they had showed us their "discovery". I thought it was ridicules what we where doing and we had no say in it. They called it a "thing" or "alien". I would has used a more pacific term but "human" worked best for me. It just didn't seem civilized what we where doing, but I kept quite. She was female and that was plain to see, and not a full grown adult but it could be her height that at first threw everyone off on pasifecs. They treated her like an animal, which the company didn't see no harm in that as long as she was fed and clothed and we kept the research on her successful. We couldn't get her to talk so the company decided to put their "discovery" on display. I stood in the back of the room security guard near by I was not sure if he was there for her safety or the crowd. I didn't think she was dangerous but it was hard to tell what she was capable of mostly.



She had large silver eyes a most unusual color, and green hair which we all thought was fake but the test didn't say so. Hair samples where hard to get form her and I didn't want to go through that experience again. "hey abck up away from the glass." I was tired of the show and was already walking toured the glass room they kept her in-

I snarl when the creature approached the glass, but found he was only shooing away the pesky kid. I watch him closely before lifting myself up onto the plastic rock terrain and lay onto my back. Rolling a stone in my hand and over my fingers out of boredom. Soon the 'show' would be over and I would either be fed and left for sleep, or ran more tests on. I grumble at the thought of them pulling at my hair and grabbing at my skin. It was just so weird. Did they treat their own this way? I regreted escaping my father's kingdom that night, and longed to be back at home on my srean bed under it's warm terilit covers. But no. I was stuck with this stupid 'den' in a plastic cave with nothing but some sort of cotton as a bed. They were so ignorant. Believing they knew what was best for everyone and how to treat everything. They were but a few thousand years old. Such a young breed could not possibly control so much.

I have the guard escort the spectators away and out of the room, as a nurse walks over to join me I have her wait by the door. We didn't have a name for the girl but we thought it would be better not to and give her time to tell us her real title. Taking a key from my lab coat pocket I look at the small silver lock on the glass door, she was just lying there waiting for something so I decided to go a head and give her the tray of food the nurse brought down with her. I took the tray myself and opened the glass door, the room was a big as a small livingroom and it was clean with the brightest lights that hurt your eyes. I really was not scared of her but I walked slowly into the room the guard waiting for her to do something. A small table stood in the far corner where I usually placed the tray down on.

I turn my silver eyes to the man walking inside. He wasn't afraid of me, and was different than the others. I watch the food, but ignore it when he sets it down. I wasn't really all that hungry anyway. I stand up and cluch the rock tightly in my hand. Mustering up the guts to approach the male human. I stand infront of him- which I had to look up to see him since I was a good six inches shorter than him. The stone was warm and rough in my hand, and I set it softly on the table. I turn back around and look at the creature again. This time a foot or so from him. "Erin" I say quietly so only he could hear. The name was regal when I said it in my accented voice. One that sounded trained and educated.

As she walks over I stand there waiting for anything she might do. I didn't know if the rock she was holding was just there because she wanted to hold it or to use it. The guard stayed outside and looked more relaxed once she place it down on the table top, she kept looking at me and I wondered if she was going to say anything at all. Then she spoke and I arched a brow more surprised but I didn't let it show. I didn't think she was clueless but I didn't know by know if she had learned our language. The nurse even looked surprised she had spoken and I was told to encourage the- Erin to speak more once she told us her name. "I'm Jackson." I said to her, I was called Dr. Williams but I decided to give her my first name. She sounded like she new more than to say her name as well. I would have reported in she had spoken her name but I wanted to know if she could talk more and if she was willing to do so, the other's would have done the same. "Where are you from Erin?" I ask, maybe I was pushing it a bit?

Jackson. And odd name at that. I cock my head slightly, green hair shifting over my shoulders. I return my head to it's normal position when he asks me a question. The language was different. I pause, thinking back to my schooling for when we learned about Earth, and the languages. It was english, I think they called it. "Why are you keeping me here?" I ask him. Ignoring his question. I was going to ask the questions here, not him. He knew enough about me already. He knew where I lived. I figured. They had come to my planet and snatched me, hadn't they? I wondered if he was oblivious to any of that, but pushed the thought away.

I look at her knowing she was going to ask me that question "Well, the company- I mean the people I work for found you and brought you back here to learn more. From you, they have questions to and they want you to answer their questions as well. Like...like." I pause and look at the guard and say low "How you survive on the planet you came from?" I used it as an example. "You see, I can't really answer that. I'm the wrong person your asking." I said putting my hands in my pockets. "Would you like to eat somewhere else so we can talk?" I asked, she had not been out of the room by fee will for a long time.

"This is a trick, is it not?" I say shortly and step to the side. Crossing my arms over my chest and narrowing my eyes at him. I suddenly felt stupid and ignorant for speaking around him. I shake my head at myself and grab a piece of bread from the tray and ease myself into the water. Kicking to the back of the tank and taking a bite of the bread. It was bland compared to what we ate on my planet, but it was filling. "Jackson, may I ask you a personal question?" I say slowly. Working hard to remember the word for everything.

I watch as she goes and sit's down to eat "No it's not a trick, some people are scared beacuse they don't know much about you." I say quietly. When she ask's me her question I look at her "Ofcourse I'm here to awnser all your questions." I didn't no exsactly what she wanted to know, this could lead to anywhere-

I nod at his response and look up at him. "Do you know who I am?" I ask him, taking another bite of the bread and dipping a cupped hand into the water. I then lift it up to my lips and sip at the water. It's coolness trickled down my throat softly. I look up at him as I wait for a response. I found it slightly odd that these creatures had run so many tests and didn't know my life hardly at all.

"Well not exsactly but they found you wondering that palnet and brought you back here. We know your not like us." I said. I was standing next to where she sat and looked down at her "So who are you then?" I aske feeling she was more conferdable talking now-

I nod softly. "I am the princess of my world, and I do believe you should be more careful around me now that I have caught on to your complex little language" I say, the words dancing elegantly but coming out as a threat. My eyes move from the bread to his and I smile small. "Unless you can promise me that you will start treating me more like another soul and not like some piece of trash. Maybe if you do befriend me, I could tell you everything" I say and take another bite of the tasteless bread.

I knew eventuly she would catch up to our languge, she wasn't stupid but awnsering all our questions sounded more better than anything else. Then we could get this whole thing over with and I could go home and back to my old job. "Okay I will see what my employers think and I'm sure they will be more than happy to give you a more sutable logging." I said starting to make my way to the door. "Wait here if you want?" I said not knowing she would insist on coming with me-

I stand up and walk out of the water. Placing the bread on the table and walking behind him. "Of course I am coming" I say curtly and walk ahead of him. Climbing out of the glass cage and looking around the white, brightly lit room.

"There is a door." I said walking out of the room. "The conferance room is this way." I said pointing toured the door that lead to the long hallway. Open the door for her and wait "I have to go in first, you can come in after I talk to them if you promise to wait outside the confrance room when we get there." I said-

I frown and cross my arms. "Fine" I say and step inside. Waiting beside the door he was walking into and leaning back against the wall.

Walking down the hall way that lead to the confrence room I pushed my hands into my deep pockets of my lab coat "Then we will get you something more warm to wear to." I said thinkign about calling the nurse down now once I thought of it. I walked into the waiting room but made my way quickly into the confrence room where Dr. Jenson stood lookign down at some files on the table top. "Esquze me but I was wondering about giving Erin- I mean the girl a more suitable place to stay while she's here." I say. He looked at me with a rather tired exspresion. "Well that dapends, she must stay here. The only place I can think of is one of the hospital room's." He said looking at me. I then said "Well cloth's to are also needed." He looked at me in a strange way "Just ask Mrs. Philps she may have something." I was a little worried from the little intrest he took in the subject. "But ofcourse a gaurd must be stationed wherever she is or goes." He said. I noded "Thanks." Walking out of the room I look at Erin "I don't know if you want to speek of him his mind seems to be set on- well let's just say it's not time to talk with him yet. But I did get you a place to stay." I said to her.

I grumble and roll my eyes in the time it took him to speak with his boss. Glaring as one of the scientist -the one who held me down to take some of my hair- walked by. He furrowed his brows and nearly ran into a wall. I let a small chuckle escape my blue-tinted lips. It was girly and quiet. I cover my mouth and look quickly away. Silver eyes catching the bright lights and sparkling slightly.

As I came back outside I see Vic cradling his face in his hands "Uh Vic." I went over to Erin "Sorry about that she was permission to be outside as long as she is under observation." I said. He turned and looked at us holding his nose now that was covered in blood. I winced a bit as he spoke "That ok, I ne' to get an ice pack." His speech was choppy but he made his way down the hall quickly "Vic's not all bad just doing what he's told to." I exsplaned not sure if she would believe it or not but I doubted it.

I roll my eyes at them "Going from one jail to another" I mutter under my breath and brush past him. Ignoring the fact that I shouldn't be walking away like that. "So, do I get to experience this new planet or do I have to be poked and prodded without that pleasure?" I question, turning around a corner and peeking out of a window. This window was made of a similar item that our own windows were made of. I touch the cool glass and listen to the sound it made when I tapped it.

Sorry I have not posted for a while I'm getting back into the grove of things though.)

I look at her with a small smile "Well I can't make that choice. A lot of important people are in charge of this and some I don't even know of their names. I can't really talk about what goes on in hear." I said. "Things have just gotten crazy when people found out about you." I said slowly. "I will see what I can do to get the board to give you more freedom." I said. "I can't promise you anything though." I said looking at her. "You might have to talk to them yourself though to get them to understand you are pretty much a guest here or on earth." I said, at leats that's how I felt about it in many ways. "But they probably would say no."

I chuckle and swiftly flip the locks to the window up. "You squeak when you walk" I smirk and lift the window up the breathe in the sweet, crisp air. "Now" I say, turning around and letting my silver/graphite eyes search his emotions. "Relax a little" I say and lift myself on the sill, turning around and sliding out the window to drop a few feet to the soft soil of the flower bed. I giggle girlishly and take a big bunch of it in my hands, pulling it to my nose. Freezing a few inches from my face I drop the soil. "What are those?!" I say in a hiccup of sound, throwing my index finger towards the little white beads in the dark brown dirt.

"Oh man come." I look out the window after she jumps and see her sitting there. "Um." I rumb the back of my neck. "Erin, I don't mean to be rude but I don't think your supose to go out unless they know." I frown and watch her a moment. "The gardners take care of all the plants, those are for moisture controll." I said my mind rather slow.
