Orami trotted into the clearing, unknowingly released her heat scent as she grassed in the meadow.


(dont know what it will become. would like stallions, will allow dat 1 mare)

Violet trotted in and saw Orami. She trotted up to her and said "Hello Orami. How have you been?" I breathed in the fresh air and said " This is forcer season.....wouldn't want any forcer now would ya?" I laughed and lowered my head to graze. I found a nice patch had it had a stream nearby. I swished my tail and also let out my heat scent while not knowing it. I knew they wouldn't dare find us here so I just let the thought trail away and I continued to eat.

"HI Violet." She said happily, continuing to graze.

Sam- (Stud)

Lurking behind the shadows of the trees.. just waiting; yep just waiting for the perfect moment to come. My ears pricked forward as if giving me a rather friendly appearence but it only happened to be that way due to fact that mares were nearby. The breeze was in my direction.. favoring me. I could smell them; yet they were unable to smell me. It was splendid! Absolutley splendid! Of course I wasn't going to run and attack, I had a better well thought out and sophisticated plan. Moments passed and nothing moved.. nothing breathed. It was time.

"How have you've been?" She asked her, walking up to her and nuzzling her.

All too quickly it began and I was walking out of the forest, through the meadow and over to the mares. Twigs and rather large fallen branches crunched soundlessly beneath my massive hooves.Still being a great distance away I winnied and bobbed my head in greeting to the mares`.

She looked at the stallion that just came out, backing away. "Come on Violet, lets go." She whispered towards her friend and backed away.

My ears pricked forward, curious of the cause of their fear."What is wrong?"I cooed. I hoped to dear god that I didn't frighten them.. since I was atleast 2 hands taller than them.(He's a draft)

I looked up quickly and said "Yeah I think your right." I started to slowly back away with my ears pinned back. I knew he was trouble but I dared take a step forward. I Lowered my head with my ears still pinned and I pawed the ground. I took another step forward and snorted. And at that moment I reared up and whinnied loudly as if to say "Get away!" I came down hard and snorted again. I stepped toward him again still not trusting him and said "Why are you here?" in a mean and protecting voice. I lifted my head high but I kept my ears pinned and I was very angry and scared. I sniffed the stallion over and said "I smell trouble if we let you stay with us. You seem the untrustable type and if you stay we'll have to learn to trust you which will be hard to do. I touched his side and walked up to his front. I looked into his eyes and mine softened up. My ears came unpinned and I nuzzled him. I stood at his side and said "It'll be hard to trust you but I'll try." I looked at my friend saying "Just try to trust him. I smell trouble on him but I sense he will help us." I I touched his side again and looked up at him.

She backed away, ears pinned. "I wouldn't trust him even if he was smaller then me!" She glared at the stallion, glancing at Violet. "Don't leave it up to chance Violet. When did you ever trust a stallion that walked up to you?"

[Dark**Light]

"I think he's different.He might be able to help us." I thought about it and then I pinned my ears and walked up next to Orami. I whispered into her ear "run on three. One...two...THREE!!" I sprinted away hoping Orami was close behind. I called to her saying "You were right! It was stupid of me to trust that walk-up stallion! I think I my have released my scent beside him! yikes! I hope he doesn't find me and force me!" I kept running and soon got to a small grotto in the forest. I stopped and said "My other friends and I would come here when we were fillies and play in the water. C'mon. Step in and go to the center. But walk slowly. If you walk fast you get there really slowly but if you walk slow you'll get there faster." I walked very slowly and I made it to the center very quickly. I laid down and the water was up to my neck. I stayed there and let my head rest on the surface.

She followed her, galloping wildly. She wasn't looking where she was going as she slipped on a big boulder. She landed hard as she stood panting on her stomach. She tried to get up, her legs wobbling. She fell, hitting the ground hard. Her knees felt numb as she could feel her knees.

I watched her fall and I called saying, "C'mon! He could be here any second now!" I saw what had happened and I was out of the pool in a flash. I grabbed her mane and said "Sorry about this." and pulled her slowly into the pool. "It might sting but it'll help you heal quicker." I laid down and held her head above the water.

Brows raised as the mares spoke all these unkind words about me. "Oh well.. I guess mares will be mares.."I muttered to myself. " My eyes followed them as they galloped off. With a sigh I loped easily over to a nearby stream, dipping my velvety muzzle in to test for the water.. then wading in a taking a long sip. Moments later I jogged out, my knees down soaked. Under a shady apple tree my knees buckled from under me and I plopped down to doze.
