Alecra-
Silently, I move though the tree line, a shadow among many. I dont make a sound, because I cant, I was just a dark patch of shade. I waited for darkness to fall, where I could be myself. My slim figure darted quickly between the trees, and I stopped, hiding behind a bush.

The Shadow Walkers-(Soccerbabe3) Empty Re: The Shadow Walkers-(Soccerbabe3)

{Jeremiah}
I looked up at the moon, my crimson eyes glowing in the light. I smiled devilishly and stepped out from my shadow into a large meadow. Large trees surrounded the meadow, offering shelter for many creatures. If any came out, they would wish they hadn't. I could hear water trickling in a nearby creek. I could smell the knee-high grass that swayed in the light summer breeze. "I hate summer. The days are longer," I muttered to myself. I looked down at my talons, glad I could finally be myself. I traced a small spiral in the dirt, remembering what my father had told me. Trust no one. Follow the path I have taken. Do not disobey me again son. Thinking of my father and all of the darkness surrounding him used to make me cringe, but recently I've come to find it magnificent. I spread my wings and lifted my head, inhaling deeply, "I won't father. I will follow your path." Suddenly I pushed off with my hind legs and opened my wings to fly. Once I was high enough, I outstretched my large griffin wings and soared. I flew for quite some time, hoping to find something I could kill. Once I couldn't I went back to the meadow and laid down on a rock. Listening for anything close that could easily become my prey.

Alecra-
I then step out into the sunlight, my muscles moving and my bones changing shape, as I turn into the form I was used to. A griffen. I screeched, hating myself. I hated how I looked, and I hated who I was with a passion. As I walked forward, my claws scraped on the ground, leaving long lines in the dirt behind me. My feathers ruffled as the cool summer breeze blew over the hills, and I open my wings, spreading out, and taking off into the air, my powerful hind legs pushing off with speed and power.
I fly for a bit, enjoying the sunlight. After a bit though, I notice my thirst, and I swoop down to the ground, the grass parting around me as the wind settles. Looking around wairily, I lower my head to the small pond, and take a long drink, my eyes up and looking around.

(Remember its night 'cause they can't come out in the sunlight! They'd die! Very Happy )
{Jeremiah}
I cocked my head to the side, hearing the sound of wings flapping in the wind. I looked up and saw what looked like another griffin. I laid there in awe, my beak wide open, gaping at her beauty. I got my wits back together and practically threw myself into the grass to hide from her view. My crimson eyes watched her through the tall grass as she landed and drank from the pond. I'd told myself I'd kill the next thing that came into the meadow, but something about this griffin caused me to stop. I hadn't noticed I was fully standing and walking towards her until I was only 20 feet away.

(Oh, ok sorry)
I raise my head, and my amber eyes fall on another Grypon, stalking up on me. I whirl around, claws outspread and hissing, my beak wide open. My eyes narrowed, water dripping on the ground from my open beak. The moon shone brightly overhead, iluminating my feathers.

(Oh its fine!)
{Jeremiah}
My legs shifted back, putting myself into a defensive position. My beaked opened and I returned the hiss, although it came out more menacing than I had intended. Darkness surged through my veins as the adrenaline picked up. My talons felt as though they grew longer and sharper, and I felt as though I'd grown slightly. I opened my wings and spread them as wide as they could, in total their length had to be 12 feet. My crimson eyes blazed as the Darkness seemed to feed from me. I looked at the female once more and something about her striking beauty caused me to calm, and the Darkness's power slowly ceased. I kept my defensive stance, but I folded my wings beside my torso and bowed my head slightly to her.

Alecra-
I also stop hissing, and lower my wings in a submissive gesture, my head dropping a bit as I realize he was the dominent male here, not me. A light wind picks up overhead, making me shiver a bit in the moonlight.

(it's alright! I'm on my phone now so answering is gonna be a little slow... Plus I think I'm gonna post this and go to bed! I'll be back tomorrow!)
{Jeremiah}
I lifted my head to see her fold her wings ans then bow back. I smiled my devilish grin and took a step toward the griffin. This was my favorite part, I would seduce the female and then kill her. The darkness that surged through my veins during the kill was better than any feeling any of the females had ever given me. I looked around us at the large trees surrounding the meadow. I looked back at the female and said in a seductive sounding voice, "Welcome to my home." The breeze picked up suddenly and pushed my feathers back, revealing my crimson red eyes even more.

I eye his crimson eyes, and back up a few feet, unsure what he wanted with me. Perhaps it didnt help that when I was a griffin, I was in heat, but I kept my wings down as I eyed him warrily, my amber eyes watching him with intrest and curiousity. My claws scraped into the ground, drawing small lines. My ears perked at his voice, layered with fake seduction.

I watched as she backed up, causing my crimson eyes to blaze. She wasn't falling for my seduction like all the other females had. Anger bubbled inside me, but I kept my composure outside and suddenly wondered, What if she was a shadow walker too? My grin came back and I asked her, "Are you a shadow walker?" I didn't add in the seduction to my voice, because I knew it wouldn't work. New things kept coming up about this griffin, it caused me to want to stay with her and find more.

(Sorry its a little short!)

(no its not, lol)

Alecra-
His question made my heart skip a beat.My Fathers words echoed throughout my head. Never, Never tell anyone who you are! I take another step back, eyes flashing gold and amber. My composure changes, into one of hostility and secrecy. I didnt know what he wanted, and I didnt want to find out either, afraid of something terrible.

(Haha okay! If you say so! Wink )
{Jeremiah}
I couldn't help but grin. She seemed so afraid, but then something occurred to me: If she's a shadow walker, she shouldn't be afraid. We are all evil creatures... My grin lowered a little, but I regained control and kept it up. My dagger teeth were only visible when my mouth was open. You couldn't tell how sharp they were when I grinned, only when I talked. I lower my rump and sat on the dirt, I was going to make myself comfortable. I watched as she stepped back, my eyes blazing more. "You can't leave now." With lightning speed I got back up and was instantly beside her, "The fun hassss jussst begun." I hissed into her ear. I turned and started to walk back, while throwing my head into the air and laughing menacingly. I got back to my spot and sat back down, facing her. My mouth had been closed, so I opened it, but not to grin, to show this griffin my sharp teeth. I opened my wings and flapped them once, for they had gone stiff.

I snort, not impressed. I acidentally let out a heat scent, and gasped, spreading my wings, my hind legs pushing off the ground with speed and agility. I rocket into the air, my wings open and flapping furiously. I rose into the air quickly, and fought against a wind current that was pushing me back to the meadow with force.

I inhaled, her heat scent coming with the air. That's not what I was after though. I watched as she took off, I laughed. I was much bigger and stronger. I pushed off with my hind legs and opened my large wings to fly after her. I was going to rip her out of the air and throw her back to the ground, but I decided I'd just scare her more by following along behind her.

I pushed hard against the strong wind, not able to go far, as the current pushed me backwards, down into the meadow. I crashed onto the ground, skidding into the long grass, my wing twisted at a painful angle. I open my wings again, and try to take off, but I couldnt, with my wing the way it was. I ran, speeding over the ground, my wing dragging behind me, slowing me down. I look behind me and see the other griffen gaining on me, and I try to go faster, but I cant, as my paws ache and my breathing wracks my chest.
