I snorted and whinnied when I crushed Allie, scooting away to let her get out from underneath me, hoping and praying I hadn't hurt the baby. I turned my head, then, and began to lick at the infected wounds on my hind legs, each lick stinging more than the last. I shuffled away some more, allowing Allie freedom, then nuzzled her stomach in apology. I wondered when Kyle was going to leave us alone.

I pet Diablo, thanking him for moving. I then feel the truck lurch to a stop, then the trailer door opens and Kyle hops in, sitting next to me. I scoot closer to diablo, but am afraid to do anything sudden, Kyle had already threatened to kill the baby once, and I wasent going to let him threaten again.

I nearly crush Allie again when the trailer slams to a halt, but manage not to. When Kyle entered the trailer, I immediately looked away and went back to licking my wounds, even though the stinging sensation each lick brought was enough to make me cringe. I snorted and rested my head on Allie's lap protectively when she scooted closer to me, an action which partially protected her stomach.

"Whats the matter, babe?" I feel Kyle's cold hand on the back of my neck. I dont move, just stare at the trailer wall, body tense and unmoving. I feel diablos head on my lap, and I play with his mane, thinking of a way out. Kyle sighes, then gets up the trailer rocking and making me queezy. He slams the door, and locks it behind him, and heads away.

I snorted softly and kicked my leg untintentionally as the flies pester the wounds that were only now starting to scab, and listened to Kyle's words. I wished that Allie would cooperate with him. That way, she and the baby wouldn't get hurt. I couldn't stand to see her hurting. I nickered softly once Kyle was gone, calling him dirty words in my head.

"Are you able to walk, boy? Cuz we really need to get out of here!" I say, standing up and peering out the slats in the trailer. "Hey, he just went to take a pee. We have gotta go now!" I say, and reach my fingers inside the door, easily opening the lock. The door slides open, and I grab Diablos leadrope.

I whine slightly at her words and struggle to get to my feet, testing out walking. Each step shot pain through my legs, although I kept quiet about it and didn't let it show on my face. I snorted and ended up hopping on my hind legs over to her, finding that my hopping was working rather well for me. I grunted quietly and waited for her to put on the lead rope. I was ready to get out of here.

I smiled. "You can do it." I then unload him, and close the door after us, then jog to the other side of the road, looking both ways for Kyle. I hide in the trees, letting go of Diablos lead, and see Kyle get back in his truck and drive away. I breath a sigh of relief, then realized that I was in the middle of nowhere. I looked around, and see a harsh landscape greeting me.

I snorted and hopped hopelessly behind Allie until Kyle had driven away. I whinnied triumphantly and looked at the road, trying to read the funny-looking signs. I sighed and rolled my eyes, knowing it was impossible. I flicked my ears and stayed alert for anything or anyone, while Allie decided what our next course of action would be. I looked at her expectantly.

"First things first," I say, and run a few steps away, and vomit, the morning sickness getting worse. After I had finished, I wiped my mouth, afraid of wasting any water. "Well, I cant go the way Kyle did, so I guess we are following the road, that way." I say, pointing. I notice Diablos limping, and pull out the tube of old ointment, applying it to his sores. The flys buzzed around me, and I swatted them away, limping on the road with Diablo in tow.

I nodded slightly and nipped at her hands gently when she put the ointment on; it stung like crazy. I continued to limp along behind her, hoping that somebody would find Allie and take her home. I didn't care if they couldn't take me -- as long as they could take Allie and take her somewhere safe, to take her home. I sighed and looked around, not having any idea where we were, and night was going to fall soon.

(K, she is about 6 months.)
After a round of morning sickness, I wipe my mouth and stand up, my shirt ripped where my stomach had grown large. I needed to get new clothes, but didnt have any money with me. I looked at the sign, that told us that another town was ahead in about 5 miles. "Boy, I am going to be a criminal today." I say, and made a mental list of what I would need to take from the stores.

I snorted and glanced at her round belly, the shaggy shirt fabrics hanging uselessly around the swollen bump. I bobbed my head and listened to her talk about being a criminal, and tilted my head. I didn't want my girl doing anything that may get her in trouble -- or may get her caught. I whinnied gently and watched her glance at a sign, wondering myself what it said. I stomped my hoof and kicked my legs, cracking the scabs on my hind legs a bit.

As we near the town, I ope my duffel bag and pull out a shirt that wasent in tatters, my last one. I also pull out my last pair of sweatpants, but very likly they wouldnt fit. I raise my arms, and pull off my shirt, hidden in the bushes. My breasts were swollen, and I knew I was going to have the baby in the next month or so.

I shook my mane as I watched Allie grab some extra clothes before going into the bushes. I whinnied lightly and waited for her to finish dressing, stomping my hoof and bucked slightly, the scabs cracking.

The sweatpants barly fit over my midsection, and I had to suck in to pull the shirt down. I step out of the bushes, and then keep walking, my hand protectivly around my unborn baby and my horse, the only two things that mattered. As the town came into sight, I step back into the trees, and stop, petting Diablo softly. "You need to stay here boy, I will be back."

I watched her come out from behind the bushes, the shirt's fabrics stretching, on the verge of breaking. I snorted and tilted my head at her request, staring at her angrily. I wasn't about to leave her! I pulled on her shirt very gently, to make sure I didn't tear the fabric. I stepped forward, showing I wasn't about to let her leave my sight. I would follow her into the store, even if my hindquarters got stuck in the door!

I shake my head. "No boy, you need to stay there. I am trying to blend in," I break off, looking at myself. "Well, a flashy horse like you is just going to draw more eyes. Im going to have to steal some food and clothes, so you cant come with." I patted his cheek. "I'll be back, I promise." I say, meaning it.

I stomped my hoof and snorted at her, pinning my ears. I didn't like the idea of me being left behind. And she thought I would attract attention? I looked her over momentarily. I had gotten used to the ways of those two-legs, and if I knew anything, they would definately be wondering why a pregnant teenager was in a store all alone. I hoped she meant her last words, and I whinnied softly, hoping that she wouldn't get caught, as I stepped back a few steps.

I smile at him, then walk into town. Imedietly the talking hushed, and I felt eyes all over me, lingering on my huge stomach. I walk down the sidewalk, stares following me. Ducking into the store, I jog into the clothes department, and pick out a few shirts marked, XXL. The maternity stuff was for old people. After I had taken the shirts and pants, I find the food department, and with out anyone looking, stuff a few twinkies under my shirt and in my pockets. After picking out the certain items I could smuggle, I race out the door and down the street. I hear yelling behind me, and run faster, each footfall making me gasp.

I snorted and watched her go, walking in circles nervously -- a nervous habbit that I had picked up. I whinnied quietly and flicked my ears in every direction, hearing yelling only a few minutes later. I saw Allie running down the road, and realized she was having troubles with running while pregnant. I cantered over to her and bent down a bit so she could easily climb aboard my back, adrenaline running within my veins.

I hop onto his back, grateful for the lift, then tell him to go, the store manager after me. I was used to riding bareback, and by now, I was quite good at it. I gripped his mane, ready to go.

I snorted and bolted forwards, looking once behind me to see the store manager not too far behind. I turned my head and felt her fingers laced in my mane, making she sure was completely secure before I went into a full-out gallop, tail billowing out behind me.
