Lyvaras was a race horse. She was a tall black thoroughbred mare. Today was her big day. Bam! And the race was on. She ran with great speed. She was in 6th place, her rider made her go faster.
She was at her full speed, dodging around horses and was in 3rd place. Suddenly her rider lurged backwards, almost falling off. The racer next to her was trying to knock her off. The stallion
the man was riding had a smirk on his face and shouldered me. She didnt want to fight while racing. Remembering the scar on her back leg from her last fight. She galloped faster, until she passed
the stallion and his rider. She didnt realized she passed the finish line in first place. She just kept going until her heart nearly bursted, and she slowed down.

That night, out in the paster she looked outside. There was woods just 100 yards from the fence from her owners property. She looked back at her owners house. And jumped the fence and galloped
into the woods. She stopped dead in her tracks. She saw the forest around her. This is a place shes been wanting to go since she was 3 months old, when her mother showed her the forest.
She wasnt going back. She kept walking until she entered a meadow. And started grazing. She liked it out here.

I graze in the moonlight. I think about my previous owners, thier cruelty. Thats why I had ran away. I wondered if any other horse had done what I had. Ran away.[i]

She stopped grazing. Looked up through a patch of tall grass and saw a stallion. He was rather tall. He looked like he was owned from humans as well.
She didnt want to creep up on him and startle him. He probably woudlnt be able to see her, since its pitch back outside, hence her pelt as well.
She crept up nearer and nearer, and tried to speak out to him, but it only turned out to be her walking away, wanting him to find her she decided.

[Spritz]

Cassino-
I snort and lift my head as I smell something. Another horse. I trot after the scent, being careful not to break any branches or twigs.

She tucked her tail between her legs and began picking at the grass, gulping down the best. She flicked her ear, listening to the padding sound
of hooves. Was the stallion coming..? She just stood there, looking around.

[Spritz]

Cassino-
I snort as I see the mare. "Hello?" I ask quizzicly. "Why are you here?"

[Guest]

Lyvaras~

She didnt expect to see the stallion just come up behind her like that. The breath was taken from her.
"Goodness you scared me." she thought of his question. The replied. "Im a race horse.
And ive been longing to become a wild horse for 2 years now. Got a problem with a runaway horse?"

[Spritz]

Cassino-
"Sorry. And why would I have a problem with that?" I asked, thinking about my owners. I lowered my head and grazed a bit, though I wasent hungry.

[Guest]

Lyvaras~


Your voice was rather rought when you spoke" she replies still grazing. Looking up
at the stallion.

(Do you want anything specific to happen?)

[Spritz]

(Nah, not yet but if you think of anything...)

Casino-
"It's nothing." I face her. "Why did you run away?"

She looks up at the stallion once again. His eyes are pretty she thought.
She realized he asked her a question, she shook her head to clear her mind
and replied. "I couldnt stand having the life as a race horse. People are always wanting to
bug you, look at you poke you. And im treated like royalty. I dont want to be treated like that.
I want to be treated like any old horse. And ive always wondered what it would be like to live
out here in the wild." she sighed and looked past the stallion, and around them. The forest looked
homey.

[Spritz]

Cassino-
"Really?" I asked. I was a World known jumping horse. "I know how you feel." I say. "My name is Cassino."

[Guest]

" Ive heard of you before. I thought you looked familiar. My owner tried to make me jump,
and I saw you at the arena that same day. Your fantastic." she looked at the moon.
Full. "Say..- nevermind."

[Spritz]

Cassino-
"Uh, thanks. If I dont do fantastic, I get beaten. So thats the only reason I do it." I lower my head. "What about you?"

[Guest]

"If I dont win 1st,2nd, or 3rd in a race I get beaten by 4 men with whips. They think ill 'learn' from it. Another reason I ran away."

[Spritz]

Cassino-
I sigh heavily. I heard dogs barking and men yelling. "I have to go back. I have a show I have to leave for. It starts early in the morning. The'll be looking for me. Can we meet again tomarrow night?"

[Guest]

Lyvaras~


"Sure, I guess. Ill be living out here anyway." she watches him trot off.
Why doesnt he run away? Who would want to live a life like that.
Going back and forth doing shows every second.

[Spritz]

Cassino-
I slowly trot back to my torcherers. "Grab him!" Someone throws a rope around my neck. someone else roughly puts a halter on me, leading me back to the barn. I stand in the isle as the groomers make me pretty. Shining my hooves, brushing my mane, brushing my hide- They then put an all body blanket on me and put me in my stall, ready to leave for the show.

[Guest]

She watches them from a distance.
"Hmp." she wonders into the forest, looking around.
Exploring new places. She falls asleep in the same meadow, and awakes
the next day.

[Spritz]

Cassino-
As we leave I whinny to the mare telling her I would be back.
~~~~~~~~~~~~That night
They put me back in the pasture and hang the blue ribbons on my stall door, congradulating themselves. I snort. I did all the work. The boss pulls out a check that I had won. I turn in discust and neatly jump over the pasture fence, heading for the forest.

She waited for him in the meadow. When he go nearer she asked: "Why you even bother? Your clearly the one who won it, and they dont even congratulate you."

[Spritz]

Cassino-
"Because that is my life. If I went away, then all hell would break loose. All the other horses would be trashed." I say, thinking about my stablemates. "I would leave. I really want to. But I cant leave the rest here to be abused. The only reason they arent now is because I am winning the boss lots of money."
