Jay snorted. "Okay, get forced mare. B.T.W it means he mates you without permission."

Mae tilted her head and snorted, ears pinning momentarily. She bucked and cantered away from the stud, looking at him angrily. "Were you really going to do that?" She asked, feeling foolish.

Jay sat down and nodded. "Yeah! Tell her I could see the ambition in your eyes." he sneered. "Don't worry, mare, I'll keep you safe." he didn't move but studied the stallion.

[Spritz]

Chance-
I glared at him.
"No! I wanted to know you, and maybe, eventually breed you. but only with your permission." He said truthfully.
"I need to start a herd to prove myself. But only with the mares permission." I removed my muzzle from her back looked at the ground.
"Dont trust the other stallion" I told her.

Jay snorted. "Aww..." he said. Then he perked his ears on what he said. "Yeah... yeah don't trust me." he snorted sarcastically. "I'll wait patiently til she's ready."

Mae's thoughts were everywhere. She wasn't experienced in these kinds of things. Who should she trust? She looked at Chance, feeling bad for him suddenly. But then she turned to Jay. "I don't know which of you to trust." She said quietly, although her thoughts were leaning towards Jay. Though he seemed a bit harsh for her type, but then Chance was a bit too confrontational for her. She sighed and stared at the ground. "Stallions are confusing."

[Spritz]

Chance-
That was it. I struck out, hitting him squarly in the chest with my hind legs. I then swung around, pinning him to the ground, my hoof on his windpipe.
"Dont. Touch. Her."

Jay growled and hit my hard hoof of his leg. When he was off he bit his leg then stood up baring his teeth. "Shut up! You are not my dad or anyone. And I'm sure you wouldn't want to!" he bucked him knocking him down. "No one wants to push her except for you. I'm not going to, unless I want to."

Mae snorted and backed up, then pinned her ears. "What are you guys doing?!" she squealed. She backed up some more until she ran into a tree. She didn't like violence. "Would you two cut it out?!" She complained, wondering if either of them would listen to her. Mae dropped her gaze. They'd probably duke it out, being stallions. Then she'd probably go with whoever won willingly. At least it'd all be over.

Jay stopped baring his teeth and looked at her. "I was just trying to defend myself..." he said breathlessly, looking at her with shinning blue eyes.

Mae let out a deep breath, happy that he'd listened to her. That made her feel in control over the situation. She was about to say something, when she turned her head to Jay and saw his eyes. They were captivating, and intruiged her, as she'd never seen a horse with such blue eyes before. She shook her head, breaking the gaze, and stared at the ground.

Jay stared at the ground, feeling ashamed. "I'm sorry." he whispered. He never told anyone of his childhood and why he turned out to be like he was. He didn't lift his head, but stepped away from the stallion.

[Spritz]

Chance-
I look at him.
"Go ahead and do whatever you want." I say, and give up. She was falling for him already. He would never be able to start a herd.

[Guest]

Mae sighed. She didn't want to hurt either of them, but she was going to have to choose eventually. She needed the strongest stallion, if she was ever to start a family, and one that'd give their life for her and the possibility of her foal/s. Mae looked at them and relayed her thoughts. "I just don't know how to pick one of you. I want to start a herd, too, you know. But I need a capable stallion. How am I supposed to choose if I don't know either of your strengths and weaknesses?"

Jay's eyes sparkled into hers. "It's your choice, and I may be depressed but I won't regret it."

Mae didn't return Jay's gaze. The feeling of his eyes staring into her own was a bit too straight-forward with her. But she nodded slightly, and unable to resist, turned her head towards him, gazing into his eyes intently.

[Spritz]

Chance-
I shook my mane, not wanting to fight anylonger. I was tired of mares not trusting me. All I wanted was to find mate.


Can I bring in another mare?

Pretty much won over, Mae trotted over to Jay. She looked at Chance, disheartened, and replied almost inaudibly, "I'm sorry." She hid behind Jay, trying to stay out of Chance' line of sight.

[Spritz]

Chance-
His head drooped and he walked away, his hoofs making padding noises on the soft moss.

Jay lifted her head proudly and nuzzled her. "By the way I'm Jay." he murmured. He looked and watched the stallion leave.

"I'm Mae," she replied, returning the nuzzle. She watched chance leave, a bit sad that she had to choose one of them, but knew she'd done what was right. She snorted and rested her head on Jay.

[Spritz]

I walk away slowly. But then something caught my eye. A small grey figure lay on the ground, sides heaving. There was blood spattered around the clearing and bite marks and scratches all over her.
I give the warning call, and gallop over to help her.
