Elizabeth looked around, hoping no one saw her board the ship. She wasn't the first stow away, and hoped she wasn't the last. Her green eyes watched the captain bark orders at his crew, and they scurried to obey him. Elizabeth was a pirate, but had to get back to her ship, and this seemed the only way to do it.

She sighed in relief as she made her way down to the dungeon at the bottom of the boat, looking at the a filthy old man with a spoon, giving her a nasty smile. Elizabeth glared at him and swung around into the shadows to wait out the long trip.

Darious~

I smirk as I watch the young lady bored this ship. She seemeed very determined. Shaking my head, I glance around to see if the captain had seen her, but he hadn't.

"Get tuh work ye worthless turd!" The captain's voice boomed. He was talking to me.
"Yea, yea I know" I retorted, my voice was disiplined. The only reason I was in this filthy pit was to earn money and buy a ship of my own. My father's ship was wrecked and I was determined to find where it sank, I needed to find it.

Rolling my eyes, I walk down into the dungeon, following the girl. I pass by a filthy old man who grinned. "Drunk" I mumbled, continuing on my way. I then rounded the corner and find her. A grin plays on my face and I lean against the cool side of the ship. "And what do you think you're doing?" I asked, my voice low but not gruff and I was obviously educated. My clothes weren't stained and my hair was cut neatly.

She swung around, glaring. "Getting back to my own ship. Now, If you don't mind, I will be waiting down here and I hope not to be disturbed." Elizabeth said, watching him. "My request's aren't that difficult, are they?" She snapped, opening an unlocked cell and walked inside. "OK. I'm caught. Lock it and treat me like any other prisoner."

I chuckled at the young lady, then grabbed her arm and pulled her out of the cell. "You aren't a prisoner" I grumbled, wishing she hadn't boarded the ship in the first place "What is her name?" I asked her, leading her up the damp, stone steps towards my quarters, hoping to hide her there until our next docking.

"Well I've been found and I might as well be!" She snapped, pulling her arm away. "And why would I tell you my name!" Elizabeth pulled her dagger out of her belt ad gripping it tight.

Darious~

I turn quickly around when she pulls away and pull out my sword. The movement causing a high pitched sound similar to that of someone sharpening knives. "I didn't ask for your name, I asked for her name. What is the name of your ship?" I said with a roll of my eyes, using my long sword to disarm her. I grab the dagger and place my sword in its sheath. Grabbing her arm I look over the dagger while I walk "Where did you get this?" I asked, my voice short and showed that I meant for a serious answer.

"YOu think I'm going to tell you? She snapped. "My father." Elizabeth sighed, yanking it back from him. "And I prefer to keep it to myself, except for when I'm using it. Which I will be happy to do to you."

"Whatever" I said and grabbed her arm, shoving her ahead of me. I grab the dagger and put it in my back pocket. "Get moving" I growled, my temper flaring.

"Give it back!" She hissed, lifting her arm and biting his hand, whirling behind him and grabbing the dagger before returning to her spot in front of him. "This isn't your ship, nor mine but you do not rule me!" She smiled, "I promised my dad I would die with the dagger just like he did. And I don't plan on letting a lowly crew member tell me what to do! I'm a Captain, not a damn slave."

Darious~

I rolled my eyes at her, then grab the dagger with a quick flick of the shoulder. Unsheathing my sword, I shove her against the wall and place the tip of the blade on the underneath of her neck, drawing a thin scarlet ribbon the trickle off her smooth neck. "This is no place to be yelling at someone who is trying to help an oblivious little girl and keep her from being thrown overboard by the captain" I snarled quietly at her. The more time we waste, the less our chances of sneaking her into somewhere safe. "Now, stop acting as though I am your enemy, and treat me as someone who is saving your pathetic little butt" I clenched my jaw. I would've cursed at her, but she was younger and seemed as though she hadn't been exposed to that sort of thing. I definately didn't want to be the one to do that.

"I don't need your help! I've done this plenty times before! And you or anybody else haven't seen me." She growled, lifting her knee. "Give the dagger back." She ignored the sword drawing blood. "5, 4. 3. 2. 1. Times up." She said, pulling her knee back and focring it forward with speed, hitting him in the crotch. "You asked for it." Deciding she would get the dagger back later, she swung into an open door, locking it behind her. "Dammit." Elizabeth sighed.

I grunted and fell back. "You stupid little" I held myself back and watched as she scurried into the nearest door. "Smart" I said, hearing the door latch into a lock. I sheath my sword and chuckle, pulling out the dagger and tossing it in my hand to get a better look. "I wasn't going to, but I will keep this now" I smirked and kicked the door as I headed back up to the deck.

"Why you little...." She almost cursed as he said he would keep the dagger. "Fine. YOu want me to come out, I will." Elizabeth unlatched the lock, storming after him. She grabbed his shoulder, stopping him. "I believe that dagger is mine." Elizabeth said smoothly, "And I would do a lot to get it back." She glared up at him, eyes in a ragin glare.

I shook my head lightly at her "Not until we get to my room" I said, walking back into the dungeon and taking a left, heading for the very back of the ship.

I opened my room's door and set the dagger on a dresser. The inside was obviously different to those of the rest of the crew. There was a clean, white hammock hanging agaisnt the pillars and a dresser with anciently carved designs. It was close to empty, but it was my temporary lodging.

I ignored her comment and turned to walk outside and shut the door. Before closing the door I paused and felt the need to inform her. "We will dock in about an hour, we will be in Europe temporarily, before leaving for Italy" I said, then shut the door and locked it.

I lock the door and stepped back, then turned and headed topside. Almost slamming into the captain, I am at a loss for words "Oh- I uh... was just uh.... umm" I slipped and tripped over my tongue. I stopped and took a deep breath, using the time to think of what to say. Just as I was about to explain my story, he cut me off.
