She looked to him and tugged his sleeve "why not?" she asked "he was the one that told me where you were otherwise I wouldn't have been able to find you" she waited for an answer and finished her meal waiting

Basiath made a disgusted look and displayed it boldly on his face. "I don't know. It's just I'm starting to get the feeling that Sigrare is tired of me." He said quietly and got up, putting out the fire.

She laughed and looked to him "Oh just ignore him, he's just like that sometimes" she said and stood up laughing a bit still and kissed he cheek.."and don't look so disgusted either" she said

Basiath sighed at Catori's words. He kissed her gently and shook his head, "Maybe I won't." He said quietly, "Maybe I will. I don't appreciate people who dislike me." He said calmly.

she smiled and looked to him not sure what to say "come on, how about we go somewhere else first, I know where there's a nicer cave and one that's a lot bigger.. it must be cramped in here for you" she said resting a hand on hsi cheek and smiling softly as she looked up to him

Basiath smiled slightly. "All right, then," he said. Catori knew how to get his mind off of things.
He sighed and turned into his dragon form, crawling down the side of the mountain and grabbing Catori gently with his tail, setting her on the ground and climbing down the rest of the way himself.

she looked around figuring out where they were and then waited for him before she walked off a bit leading the way.. It lead to a gaint waterfall and she got to the edge and walked behind it shaking off a bit and waited for him to come inside... the place was huge and held a load of secrets and a lot of chambers were well hidden considering how old it was it was extremaly stable and Not many could find it since caves in the area were not commonly found behind waterfalls.
When he didn't come she ran outside and looked around a bit "Oh hurry up Basiath" she said

Basiath followed her into the cave, shaking the water off of his scales once he got in, but made sure he didn't get Catori wet. He looked around and smelled the walls for the scent of any other dragon. He sighed slightly and wandered around the back, his wings folded tightly on his back. There was enough room for him to manuever himself around in here. He nodded slightly in approval and walked into the very back, trodding down some different tunnels.

Catrori smiled "I meant to show this place a while ago" she said walking around her voice echoing around and she twirled around since she hadn't been here for about a year but still remembered it very well and walked through some other tunnels as well looking aorund it curiously looking for other hidden tunnles and chambers that it could hold

Basiath nodded and looked around, following some tunnels until he reached a dead end. At the end there was a glowing orb-like sphere with intricate designs on the front. He looked it over and flicked out his snake-like, forked tongue, then smelled it. He knew what it was. He stepped back a moment and looked at it carefully. What was an egg doing in here all alone? It was about the size of his fist, in dragon form, and he sniffed the walls around here. It definately smelled of a female dragon, but the scent was faded. "Catori?" He asked, and touched the egg. It was freezing cold. He needed to do something to keep it alive. He blew a small pinpoint of fire on it, warming it.

Catori froze in her tracks as she walked into another chamber and spotted a female dragon. She wasn't hear a year ago not that she knew of...
Catori turned her head to where she heard Basiath but then walked over to the female dragon but then just backed away and went to where she heard Basaith "hmm, anything wrong?" she asked and then looked to the egg and put her hand on it noticing it was cold and frowned

"Is there anybody else in this cave?" Basiath blew another jet of fire on the egg, making sure he didn't burn Catori's hand. He then lifted his muzzle to the air and then smelled the air. It was musty, but there was the faint smell of another female. He tilted his head slightly. He knew female mother dragons weren't very friendly to intruders.

"seems she came recently, I found herin another chamber. she not moving so I don't know if she's asleep or not" said Catori nervously Sigrare had warned her about mother dragons being very unwelcome when she first found this cave and took a step away from the egg "But why would she leave her egg to freeze?"

Basiath nodded slightly and picked up the egg with his tail. He was going to make a risky move, and followed her scent until he found her. He placed the egg by her head and tapped on her shoulder gently with his tail.

Catori followed adn watched looking to the female putting a hand on her neck to check her breathing "I think she's sleeping" she said looking up to Basaith and then found a wound and healed it quickly before backing off a bit to allow her room for if she stood up

She opened her eyes as she felt a tap on her shoulder ad looked up to the male dragon and the girl with a slightly growl as she curled around her egg a bit

Basiath growled back a little bit, trying to show a bit of dominance over the female. She frowned at him, her tail curling around her egg even more. "What do you want?" she spat angrily, claws scraping against the cold stone floor. She didn't seem to notice how cold her egg was.

Catori backed right off and stood beside Basaith keeping a hand on him "w-w-we were only trying to return your egg, miss" she said clenching her hand slightly as she spat angrily. she didn't notice how cold the egg was still "Nonsense, my egg was with me the entire time" she spat still scraping her claws on the ground and looked to the scared girl and the dragon thinking that it was an unusal pair of creatures but was still very unwelcoming.

Basiath snapped angrily at the female. "No, it was in the other room. If you were a responsible mother, you'd notice it's below zero tempatures. I bet it's dead," he growled slightly. The female growled back at him and looked over the egg, checking its temperature. She kept a shocked look off of her face when she realized he was right.
"Well thanks, I guess," she grumbled. "I'm Odea. And now you can go."

Catroi looked up at Basaith not sure what to do or say and then looked to Odea giving a slight nod and walked up a bit and put her hand on the egg and made sure it was alive being careful not to distrub either of them and Odea growled low as she touched the egg keeping her eye on them both still a bit unsure what to think but rather shocked at how cold her egg was and snapped back at him "NO, it is not and I am a responsible mother Halfing" she snapped at him and Catori backed off "don't snap at him" she said quietly and quickly went back beside him and sighed.... Sigrare was right, female dragons were even scarier than males when they had an egg with them espeecailly"

Basiath snapped his tail against the female's shoulder angrily. He had to get the upper hand of the situation here, or else it could all go spiraling downhill very quickly. He snarled and said, "You are quite irrisponsible, actually," Basiath knew he was asking for it, but he plucked the egg away from her and placed it in Catori's hands, then stood in front of Catori so Odea couldn't hurt her. "I'll take this back to Sigrare and we'll take care of it. Because obviously you can't," Odea growled and tried to bite Basiath, but he dodged quickly and growled as well.

Catori noticed it's cold temperature and wrapped her wing around it quickly keeping ti close to warm it up
"that old golden dragon wouldn't know a thing about eggs despite being a dragon" she snapped and lunged at him again trying to get him by the thraot and then missed adn stood back "it's my egg, give it back" she said angrily growling and her tail flicked side to side angrily

"You're not getting it back," he replied. "And Sigrare obviously knows more about eggs than you do, considering it's almost dead thanks to you." He was getting very annoyed with this female. He restrained himself from just attacking her. He pressed his clas aagainst her neck, pinning her onto the ground. She struggled against him ferociously. "Catori, go!" He snapped. *Sigrare come get Catori, and hurry!* He thought.

Sigrare lifted his head "let me guess their at the old cave?" Sigrare nodded and Catori looked at them and stood up keeping ehr wing and arms aorund the egg tightly and found Sigrare waiting near the entrance and he nudged her gently and looked to the egg"where is the mother?"
She squirmed and growled "but's it's my egg, It's my job to look after it, I didn't know it had been moved" she snapped and clawed him to try and get his claws away from her
