Wolf of Silence

[Soul Hunter]

She walked silently along through the bushes and across the ground not making a single sound across the earth.Her coat of white, light brown and dark brown was smooth and her pale green eyes were full of curousity. But hidden beneath her coat of fur were countless scars. she was not a warrior but an assassin a wolf who lived within shadows and now traveled alone in silance, she never howled and did not try to join a pack.

I walked into the clearing and looked around my ears flicked slightly as I walked forward to get some water lapping it up quickly with my tounge listening around me.I did not like being in the company of mny wolves anymore.

Alouwai was teird of running, running for many days, hours, weeks... escaping... escaping the horrible Two-legs who would not let her have her freedom. She looked back, they weren't here right now, but they would be ready throw her in a dungeon, hang her by chains, burn her, and beat her, or worse... kill her. Scars had already replaced the burns they had given her, the senseless burns of working hard, or the burns of not listening what they say or do... it wasn't fair. Even if she didn't do it right.

A chain with a crytal on it was around her neck. It wasn't worth it, but it gave her the courage to break free. What happened to her mother? They murdered her, while she tried to get the rights she deserved. They burnt her in fire, and Alouwai had to watch, her screaming in pain her last screams, the lips of 'I love you' as she caught her daughter then, she was gone, gone forever. Her father left them, he had escaped. She was the only member in her family... she was alone but keeping the chain around her neck always kept her family together, and she knew it held the power of encouragement.

The scarred blue wolf shook her pelt, her pads ached like crazy, like they always did when she stepped on a thorn while working her tail off. She sighed and put her ears to her cranium looking around, the forest was quiet, no barking dogs searching for her, trying to surround her, while the men had the guns with the posion to put her to sleep. She sighed, closing her eyes, trying to search her mother's light blue, motherly face. But there, it wasn't nowhere to be found. She smelt the air, her keen senses trying to pick up something. It smelt of grass and wetness, but water is what she was looking for, and she found it, ignoring anything else she had smelt. She padded weakly over to the smell until she got there, and leaned down drinking the water, lapping it slowly, her tough was dry too. So kept lapping, like she never drank water before.

She looked up to the young blue wolf noticing the scars and chains. She too was the last of her pack but for a different reason. Her pack had a fight within themselves and she ran away like a coward and had regretted it ever since.
She did not speak but simply read the actions of the young she-wolf name Alowwai more curious of what had happened to her for they did not look like the scars she had gotten from her failed missions and she also looked a bit shaken deep inside.
when she spoke up her voice was soft "what happened?"

Alouwai went on lapping up the water, she never felt like she had a chance for a break, but they'd seem to lose her. Then, her heart began to race as she heard a voice, but she kept calm.... it was just a wolf, a wolf that might've been a slave, a run-away or.... just a regular wolf. Alouwai let her fur lie back into place before she lifted herself up, she held herself high while she sat down, looking upon the wolf. "I... am a former slave, I ran away a month ago, these scars are from everything that happened to me... from doing something wrong, or trying to get my freedom, or even trying to it right. How are you?" she asked, trying not to cry, thinking of how many times she had been hurt over nothing, nothing at all.

"So your one of those runaway slaves, not one has gotten out alive I see. You are far from those parts by now" She said sitting down she was a small she-wolf so they wouldn't even think of trying to get her to be a slave also she was very good at escapeing that was part of what she had been taught to do since she was a pup. "what is you name? surely you must have one" she said and spotted the tears this wolf heldback and decided that this what not a time to be picky about if there was a wolf here or not for this wolf just seems to be falling apart infront of her

Alouwai looked at her focusing on what she said. She heard her words and looked at her. This wolf was small for a wolf actually.... and she looked like she could escape much easier for a wolf like Alouwai. Then she heard her ask for her name and Alouwai shook her head slowly, closing her eyes. "My names Alouwai." she said softly, even if she was parched, her voice was strained. She couldn't and never really used it, untill they murdered her mother.

"Such a beautiful name, I am name BiteMarked or Bite" she said"drink up your voice sounds harsh" She was a farily young wolf but a bit older than Alouwai. "If you are hungry there is some deer just over there, it's relatively fresh but I can't eat it all" She lifted her paw pointing to the freshly dead deer with a part of it eaten off but a lot of good meat was left. She did not eaat very much either but for her she found it normal.

Alouwai heard her nice compliment and nodded. "Thank you." she said, her words were forced out. She leaned down and lapped up some water quickly. She then looked up when she heard that there was deer and looked over to see some nice deer. "I've never tried it before." she said, she was starved though and it smelt better than the smell of what the two-legs gave her. She walked over and smelt it, the sweet aroma drifting through her nose. She then dug in, it was pretty good, no it was amazing. It changed her taste buds and took it to another level, a higher one. She kept on eating, though she did not feel much change in her voice.

She lay down silently flicking her ears in silence watching the young wolf eat the remains of the deer... She then stood up again quietly making nothing stirr at all and lapped up some mroe water

Alouwai finished the wolf, and nothing was left but bone. It satisfied her hunger, with it's nice and delightful tastiness, but she didn't know if it healed her voice, nor the water. "So, were you ever a slaved wolf?" she asked, her voice healed a bit, but still had that sickness or coughness in it. She looked at the female and grabbed a small part of bone, lying down, and watching the female lap up some water.

She sat infront of the other wolf and then lay back down.."I have met them but as you can see I am very small even for a she-wolf so they did not pick me up but kept me before I escaped. So technically no" she said "they shouldn't be able to get here anyway due to the thorns, humans do not like them"

Alouwai nodded hearing her words. She nodded slowly. "Yes, I know... but they do call others to look out for other slaves, and i'm afriad they did that to me. There's one not too far away, and I'm going to have to pass it without them catching me, I'm going to have to move on soon." she murmured and sighed. "But I might as well rest some..." she said, laying her head her paws.

Alouwai pricked her ears to listen to her words, they then settled down and she only flicked them once. She sighed. "If you wish, but it'll be dangerous." she murmured and slowly blinked a few times before drifting off to sleep. It was nice... nice to sleep again... working pittiful hours days and nights, those worthless hours.
At first she was dreaming of the nice cool air to freedom, but then it turned into a nightmare with her getting caught and going into the fire, dying the deadly way but she couldn't get out of her dream, none-the-less she did not shiver or anything, to show she was stuck in a nightmare.

She flicked her ears and woke her up senseing something was wrong "wake up, you seem to be distrubed as for if it's dangerous that is something for me to decide"

Alouwai woke up quickly, her ears flickered madly, and her hackles rosed. "What is your deal?" she growled. She was a little hot-headed. She never got to sleep like this before. She looked at her and sighed. "Yes, it was just a nightmare." Though her heart was racing, and senses of fear were tangled in her mind, she tried not showing it.

Alouwai sighed and shook her head, with light agreement. "You are right. But I haven't slept like this forever." she murmured softly and laid her head back down. "Please awaken me at dawn, we have to move early when the humans are sleeping and try to avoid any that will not help us." she said and slowly fell back to sleep, with no dream at all.

She nodded her head in understanding and caught herself and Alouwai a rabbit and ate hers flicking her ears to detect anything that dared to come near

Alouwai went on sleeping, no dreams to disturb her, or deadly weapons. She then flicked her ears, her heart racing awaiting to be waken by her new and trustful friend.

Dawn was nearing adn she woke her up and put the rabbit infront of her "no wolf can complete their mission on an empty stomache" she said waiting for her to eat and then sand up.. She stood up her small stature made her seem like a pup who was no older than a year even though she was older...

Alouwai's senses caught the smell of a rabbit. It drifted through her nose, and smelt of freash kill. She blinked a few times before standing up, yawning and streaching. She looked up to Bitemark, going over and giving her a thankful lick on the ear, then began to eat the rabbit. Soon she was finished, and went over to get a quick drink. "I thank you for everything you have done so far, no other lone wolf could've done better." she murmured and bowed respectivly to her new white friend.

She got a quick lap of water "we should hurry it's not quiet dawn so we should have a bit of a headstart" she said swiftly

Alouwai shook her head and looked over before dashing off, not trying to go so far. Before she knew it, she was in a meadow, trying to avoid anything that tried pricking her. She then stopped, seeing where there was a small town and passing wolves with food in their mouths for humans. He had more scars than Alouwai which made her feel kinda bad. Her heart dropped. Coming into these parts will just make her feel worse, other wolves were not gonna get her freedom like she was going to.

She looked to her and whispered in her ear "I can get them their freedom later, we should move to a safer place first, I'll distract them, just go ahead and don't look back run for it" she said and walked forward full of confidence and lunged at a human and smirked giving a howl for the first time in a while...It echoed through their ears her tri-coat covering her muscles which let her move about so freely and with elgance but also Deadly.
She turned to the wolves, all of them were bigger than her but she could care less "Now then how about you regain that lust for freedom"
