History: Krystabelle used to live in Alaska as a swing dog for a sled team along with her two bothers. On one race after her owner had set up camp a she-wolf came and lured one of her brothers and another male into the dark forest, ignoring the calls from their owner and the other dogs. They heard a few growls followed by two sharp yelps then silence. Belle and her remaining brother mourned for a few minutes before the pack of wolves returned to the camp, still hungry. The team and their owner retreated to the safety of the fire, using the wood to create a ring of fire around them. By morning three more of the team dogs were dead, because they had tried to flee but were quickly overcome by the pack of fifteen wolves and the sled team's leader, Shasta, had been bitten on the leg and was limping severely. In turn, Belle had managed to kill the she-wolf when she had attempted to lure another one of the dogs to their death. When the sun rose the wolves retreated, with full bellies, and her owner hooked up the four remaining sled dogs. The two wheelers, Belle and her brother, one of the team dogs and one of the wheel dogs, her dead brother having been the other one. Her owner was forced to take Shasta behind the trees and shoot him, because he could not run as a result of his injury and the small team could not pull the sled, their owner, and Shasta. Their owner then got rid of all the extra weight and they started on their way again, Belle now forced to work as the lead dog for the first time in her life. By the time they reached the finish line, only Belle and her brother remained, the two other dogs having died of starvation, since most of the extra weight their owner had gotten rid of was the food and they only got a fourth of what they were supposed to get. What Belle and her brother did not know was that their entire future had depended on them winning the race money. Their owner had a gambling problem and was completely broke so he had no money for food or to buy new sled dogs. Instead of giving the pair away or selling them he decided to enter them in dog fights as a tag team. Since they were in Alaska they fought mostly other huskies, but did fight a few pit bulls, and even the occasional wolf, but never were they defeated. Belle was very fast and light on her paws so she was thrown in first to tire out the dogs and deliver a few bites then her brother, who was very strong and muscular, was put in to finish off the weakened dogs. One day a vengeful human who lost his prized dogs to the team tipped off the police of the ring, and during a raid they were caught and sent to the to Animal Shelter in the U.S. where they were evaluated and deemed unadoptable, because of their background, they had lost all trust in humans. The day Belle and her brother were supposed to be euthanized they opened their cage doors and jumped the shelter fence.

Personality: Belle is, in the best use of the word, spunky. She delights in mischief and the sort, and has no qualms about being cheeky. Still, she can be intelligent and has a manner of judgement about her really rare for her age. She is competitive, and her temper can be quick. She doesn't like being bossed around. Due to her background Belle is distrustful and aggressive toward humans, men in particular. She and her brother occasionally hook up with other strays, but never for more then a few days. Most of the time she appears to be very calm and laid back, but can turn violent, ruthless and downright unmerciful in the blink of an eye.
