Desperado

Never to be Broken....or is he ? Untitl10
You see...I was once a leader of a small herd...I was once a father.... and I was once a son.

I was know being led into a small corral by 5 humans, one was behind with a whip and the other 4 were dragging me forwards, I reared screaming something similar to a battle cry. I tried bolting forwards but the men dug in their heels and I was stopped. I reared and screamed again. I was nick named " Prince of the Plains " my father being the king...but when the humans camethey took my family and killed my father.

After I was released into the corral, I reared thorwing my head about wildly and stabbing at the air with my black legs...I had a look in my eye that meant * Come on, Try and Tame I dare you...*

Gone With The Wind
Gone With The Wind whinnied ear-piercingly as a whip was pelting her coat. She bucked and threw her hooves behind her as other horses tried to push her forward. She snorted and shook her head as a human smacked her on the snout. She nipped at his fingertips and kicked at him with her dagger-like hooves. The saddle she was forced to wear rubbed against her side irritably and as did the reins. She froze at the sound of a stallion fighting the humans off of him which actually caused a bewildering look to appear on her face. She was whipped again, and with that, she pushed herself forward with her trained gait she was taught to do. These humans had trained her to become an army-like horse, but of course, it was better than getting slaughtered - at the moment. She nickered softly towards the new stallion and pawed at the ground in a greeting, but soon her rider struck at her neck with his flat, wrinkly hand.

Desperado
I snorted as I was backed into the corner of the corral, the ropes were pulled tight from the other side of the fence as a strange thing was placed on my back....then something else was forced into my mouth and wrapped around my head. I neighed loudly as someone got onto my back...I was released from the ropes, but was no in the clutches of this human. I bolted around the pen, trying to dismount the human.

My white mane flaring around, I came to an abrupt stop and looked around the pen, maybe it was time to go cross country.......I bolted across the pen and leaped over the fence, when I heard the sweet sound of a mare. I came to a skidding halt and looked at her...the human looking at me bemuzed..

Wind threw another glance at the stud as his eyes met hers. Within a brief moment, her rider smacked her snout with his rugged hand. She snorted and narrowed her eyes at her rider as she curved her neck to nip at her rider. She dragged her hooves along the long line of horses doing their preppy little 'dance' with high kicking hooves reaching their chests.
She stole another glance at the stallion. Had he not known not to fight the humans? She gave him a dainty smile as she treaded on, but she stopped at glared at the ground. She gave a grunt and stood still as her rider mumbled, Stubborn mule...' She threw an irritated look at her rider as she tugged on the saddle to get it loose. She did so, but not loose enough to remove it. She watched a human go towards the new stallion with a serious and pompis look casted upon his face.
"A new stallion? Perfect. Train him," the assumed boss ordered as he walked off with a whip held behind his back. Wind glared at him and rolled her eyes in irritation.

I threw my head up and he pullled on the reins and snorted seeing what I had assumed to be the boss around here. I snapped but was swiftly corrected. The human looked at me and then walked off and then I saw the whip behind his back. I reared and whinnyed before bolting of into the feilds nearby, the human loosing his grip and was now holding onto my mane, as I looked back I saw a few riders turning and chasing after us. I sped up and leaped over any fences thatgot in my way....

The rider corrected him self and pulled on the reins trying to stop me...

My spirit was one of fire, it would never be fully tamed...the human upon on my back pulled so hard on the reins, all I could do was stop. I snorted aggressively and aloud the human to walk me back to the ranch. I snorted again and dragged my feet, they pulled the whip out and struck it across my hind quarters, it sting like a wasp had just stung me.

I turned my head a snapped at the human with the whip, put him in the stall no food or water for 3 days...I raised my head snorting more agressively this time..as I was lead to a secure stall and the door locked. This stall was made out of oak and the door was strong. They took the tack off and shut the door.. I looked in the stall either side and they were empty for the moment..

As Wind's rider dismounted, she snorted loudly and relaxed her left hind leg. He unbuckled the saddle but kept it resting on her back as he lead her into the stables using the black leather reins. He tied her up to a post on the side of her stall as he tossed the saddle on a nearby rack along with stripping the bridle and reins from her face, hanging them on a nail pounded into the side of Wind's nametag.
Wind exhaled deeply as she was herded into her stall, the door shutting loudly behind her. Her rider soon walked out of the stable to get back to abusing horses. She snorted loudly as she shook her mane, her eyes soon directing to the stallion she had seen earlier. Wind gave him a glare that lasted for what seemed like an eternity. The stare was soon broken as she took a drink of water out of the incredibly clean trough. She glanced at him between bites of grain she took, still quiet and curious.

I paced around in the stall, like a crazy horse. I kicked out at the boards in the stall and then stopped when I saw the mare being led into the stall next door...I watched her curiouslyand threw my head up, charging at the door, just to spook the humans. when one jumped I neighed truimphantly and pranced around the stall, I looked at the mare, a cocky look in my eye before turning. It was so boring being locked in a stall with nothing to do, but nibble on wood

Wind rose a brow at him before she shook her head with a very quiet chuckle. She tilted her head to the side as a small grin curled across her lips -- although the grin much more resembled a smirk than a smile. She tossed her mane out of her face as she cleared her throat. She opened her mouth to say something, and with hesitance, she did so. "So," she said slowly as she couldn't think of much to say at that time.

I looked at her again and smiled, " Well, My name is Desperado, Des for short..." I bowed my head in respect to her and then raised gently. " What will happen to me...." I asked. Looking at the mare with a warm grin and then turned my attention to the empty stall on the other side.. I wondered who went in there ?

[center]Wind released a soft sigh as her eyes fell to the ground. She glanced up at him multiple times before answering his question. "The humans are... The humans are going to train you... And... And abuse you. That's what they do to ALL horses here," she said, her anger starting to shine through her voice. She soon lifted her head and returned her gaze back to him, tossing her tail from side to side.

All through my life I had heard of this word 'Abuse', never had I thought I would have to deal with it. 3 days passed before my stall was even of interest, and when someone came to my stall. I snorted aggresively and stomped my hooves, backing up into the stall, I was not wanting to be touched by these humans

Wind's eyes widened as he dared taunt the humans. She bobbed her head up and down before harshly biting his shoulder as a warning not to toy with these people. "DON'T torment them," she said strictly before standing straight in her stall, eyes locked on the danger nearby.

I sighed, nipping back as she bit my shoulder. I stopped what I was doing and the humans seemed to notice the effect she had on me..I wandered to the furthest corner of the stall and stood watching them, they talked between each other and then opened my stall, bring a looped rope (Laso) in I raised my head and snorted. I reared, my nostrils flared and the whites of my eyes showing. When I came back to earth, I arched my neck and stomped vicously at the floor...i had not noticed another human going into the empty stall next to me with a rope on a pole and was putting over my head.......

OOC - Sorry brain fart
