Isadora walked away. She smelled Seclusion appear and she began to walk faster away. She had to find where her Child was. Whoever she was guarding needed her, and soon. She didn't know why, but she had a bad feeling.

Isadora gritted her teeth and turned back into her angel form, invisible to the mortal eyes. She flew over to the park and quickly spotted her child. She was on the swingset. A man in black was slowly encroaching upon her, but the little girl was completely unaware. Her parents were nowhere in sight. "Idiots," she murmured and flew down. She had to cause something to happen, but what? She looked around and placed a large stick in front of the man without him noticing. She grinned as he tripped over it, flinging the girl from the swing. Isadora caught the girl's fall and placed her gently down but made it look as if she had regularly fallen without getting hurt. Not even a tiny scrape. The little girl got up and ran, screaming for her parents which were instantly by her side. She followed them as the frightened family left the park.

Isadora noticed Cheshire and Hatter as she followed the family and tucked herself away, trying to make sure they couldn't see her.

Once out of Hatter and Cheshire's sight, Isadora flew back down to the girl she was to be guarding and floated silently by her side. She had saved this one girl once. She had an entire lifetime ahead of her. She'd never be free again... She nearly cried at the thought. She didn't want to be an Arch-Angel anymore.

Ashes landed near her..."I wonder if you will fall again, although your soul will still remain purer than the other angels souls, isn't that right Deadly Score?" "yes of course, Isadora, as an Arch Angel there is one duty you have.. it is to follow your heart, like Ashes is to collect the thousand soul that strayed from that battle and bring them back home and also continue to live, yours is to follow your heart and speak your mind" said Deadly in a soft and gentle voice

Ashes laughed.."listen to yourself, Isadora... I'm not welcome anywhere but the graveyard of souls, my closest freinds are dead and i'm the last pureblood... you however have a choice.. listen to how pitiful you are... that girl will be fine without an angel... how do i know this? reading souls has it's different effects, she will grow up healthy and strong and have a happy life... her grandmother's spsirt and soul watch over her..." said Ashes

Isadora waved Seclusion away. "The girl needs an angel for a reason. That's why she was assigned an angel, which means something's going to happen to her. She needs an angel. Just go, Seclusion," she flew off.

"Then don't bother wasting your time," Isadora said to herself, flying down to the little girl's side, undetected. She looked around for Hatter instinctively, but then remembered, and hung her head, staring at the sidewalk beneath her feet.

When they reached the girl's house, Isadora hesitantly floated outside. Once she was in this house, her mission was confirmed. She wouldn't be able to leave this girl until she died. She looked into the house as the door was shut on her face. Of course, she could fly through the door. It wasn't a big problem. The only problem was following what she wanted to do instead. She wouldn't be able to become a demon again, unless she did a vile ceremony that was extremely bloody and painful. She sighed and floated to the window, looking in on the happy little family -- or so it seemed. She looked around, wondering where Hatter and Cheshire could be now.

"probably... my instinct is strong" she said and I looked to them both and smiled.."ah, i remeber you used to be the guardain angel for a vampire/werewolf hybrid correct?" "Pretty much, from what i remember"

Isadora floated into the house, feeling the bondage between the girl and her made whole. There was a flash of light that only immortals could see, and then all was calm. Isadora had a small silver crown upon her head, the sign of a Guardian Arch-Angel. She touched the crown. It would never come off. Never. She sighed and sat beside the girl on the couch, listening to the family's quiet conversation about the girl's grades in school. The father was on the phone with the police, giving the account of them an who had tried to steal their daughter away from them. He shrugged when the police asked what saved the little girl.
"Luck, I guess," he replied. Isadora frowned. They'd never know it was her.

The parents left the little girl to watch TV. She seemed calm enough. Isadora began to sing a song softly to the little girl, going through her troubled memories.

Isadora whispered, "If only..." she didn't continue her sentence. She heard the parents upstairs, and the door began to rattle. Suddenly, the floor began to shake. The little girl shrieked as the ceiling began to crumble in from the force of the oncoming earthquake. In a slow but quick motion, Isadora had the girl at and out the door, just as the hand of the mother stuck out from the door, but the ceiling crumbling in, leaving the hand only peeking out from the rubble. The shaking went on for another few minutes, and Isadora guided the girl a safe distance from the house. The girl was crying. Her parents had been crushed under the house. Isadora looked at the rubbage and saw two souls wander up from the mess, weaving in and out of each other. They disappeared into the clouds, and Isadora wrapped the girl in a hug, even though the girl couldn't see her. "It's all-right, Becca," she said quietly. "They're in a better place now."
