The beat made a rythm of a wolf's paws as she traveled down a small path. Alone, was her middle name. She was so strange, so... different. She was kicked out of her pack because her member's thought she was way too different. She only ate fish. She hated eating deer, or anything like that. Was that really different thought? She looked like the others, and smelled like the others too. But one thing that was different, she never EVER had a happily ever after like she wanted to...

She sighed, stopping seathing and unseathing her claws in the ground with a long scoff. She then lifted her head and let out a long melodious howl to everyone.

Raven padded through the forest, a dead crow in his mouth. Raven had always been exclusive from the others. He mainly ate birds and berries. His father was ashamed of him and couldn't possibly bear to see his son, Raven, the eldest, become Alpha, so he kicked him out. Raven's father had been named Éad, which was Irish for "jealousy." It fit him well. He conquered many lands and became a wealthy, healthy old brute, until his arch enemy Demon, had slaughtered him when he was sick with the Blue Fever...Now Raven's pack was dispersed and no longer coordinated. Raven was pretty sure he was the only sane member left. He had left long before his father's downfall, but he had heard of it easily because everybody knew Éad, either personally or by mouth. Enough information roamed around on him so you could know him personally even if you had never met him. Raven pricked up his ears at the sound of a howl and dropped the bird, letting out a long, meloncholious(sp) howl.

The fae known as, Source pricked her ears at the replying howl. She was surpriesed someone was there.. she sighed and jumped litterly following the sound. She looked over and saw a handsome male. She sighed and put her ears to her cranuim trying not to think he'll put her down as soon as he saw her and she told him about what she ate.
She soon gained her courage, and walked up to him with a small smile on her face. She gulped inside her throat. "Hello." she murmured softly looking at the ground, and shiftinf her paws.

Raven looked up, the bird now in his mouth again. He smiled bashfully and dropped the bird. "Why, hello," he said. "And who might I be in the lovely presence of?" Usually Raven was a gentleman -- he had learned long ago it wasn't good not to be. He smiled brightly and began to pluck feathers out of the bird diligently. He then looked up, "Oh, sorry," he replied. "I'm Raven." He went back to intently plucking feathers off of his catch. He enjoyed catching birds because they were more of a challenge, also because deer wasn't his favorite -- although he'd eat it if driven by hunger. Sometimes he'd go weeks without food until he was forced to catch a deer. And then, he'd practically eat the entire deer himself. He was a strong, well-built male, as well. He did manage to take that away from his father's genes. He got his tender heart from his mother, which he greatly regretted. He finished plucking off all of the black feathers and began to eat hungrily. "I would share," he said, momentarily lifting his head, "but I haven't eaten in weeks."

Source exagerated softly. Here it goes, she swollowed. "Hello, I am Souce, nic name Raven." she said and wagged her tail lightly watching him pluck the feathers of that bird. She watched him mesmerisingly until she lost her gaze and countined what he was saying. "Well, thanks for the offer, but i'm afriad I don't eat birds." she said softly and waited for the laughter to burst out his maw and tease her til he walked away finally.

Raven looked up at her and shrugged. "I don't know anybody else who does." He finished the bird hastily and began to gnaw on the bones. "If you want a bone, though, you can have one." He gave her a gentle smile. "And thanks, my mother named me. Where did your name come from?" He asked, gnawing on the bone so much it cracked in half, and he grabbed another bone and began to chew on it speedily.

Source began to smile and shook her head. "Well, I got my name from my mother." she replied, and kneeled down to gnaw on the bone softly. As she did, she looked at him. He was a very interesting brute. No one like she met before... Did he ever have a happily ever after? she thought herself and kept gnawing on her bone.

Raven looked up and smiled. "That's cool," he said, almost running out of conversation. "So, if you don't eat birds, I assume you eat deer, then, am I correct?" He gnawed on his bone intently before that one broke. He got another, smaller bone, saving the larger bones for Source.

Source shook her head and gave a large sigh before telling the truth. "No, I eat fruit and fish..." she murmured softly, looking up at him with no embarrsment in her eyes. She no longer cared if her laughed, she just really didn't wanna be laughed at.

Raven jumped to his feet, suprised. "Really?! I love to eat berries and stuff, my favorite is blackberries. But I looooove to eat blueberries whenever I find them. I only eat birds, but occasionally I'll eat a deer. My taste doesn't like the deer that much, though. I've never met anybody else like you before, Source..." He said, his voice trailing off. "Wow." he muttered under his breath... His eyes glittered in amazement and wonder, staring into her eyes like he was her lost puzzle piece. When he realized he was staring his dropped his gaze to his paws. "Sorry," he said bashfully.

Source looked into his eyes happily until, he dropped the gaze. He was just like her.. no taste buds for the deer. She never met anyone like him she smiled wanting to meet his gaze once again. "Um, no it's fine.... I never met anyone like you." she admitted softly with a small, lovingly glint in her eyes.

Raven snorted a laugh. "Yeah, me either," he looked back up at her, the happiness glowing in his eyes again and a broad smile across his face. He felt a sudden awkward moment looked at her in the eyes before asking, "So...." he laughed at his own unsteadiness. "What now? I can show you a lake just over here...It has really tasty salmon. I've only tried it once before. I suck at catching fish..."

Source joined the small laugh until she said, "Well, I can show you how... I'm really good!" She let a smile come from her maw, and let her tail wag wildly. "Lead the way!" she excalimed with another one of those chuckles.

Raven grinned and began to trot towards the river, waiting every now and again for Source to catch up to me and stay by my side. "So, how long have you been around here?" He asked while they walked to get to the river/lake.

Source sprinted after him. She got there just in time to hear his question. She gave it a long thought before saying, "Well, I have been here for about two weeks, and still I don't know this place very well." she said with a small laugh before trotting up to the lake and waiting for him to come to her side so she could teach.

Raven trotted over to her. "I've been here for almost 3 years now. Been here ever since I was 2 -- ever since I was living on my own," He smiled at her gently and laughed along with her. He gained the courage and nuzzled her gently. He then stepped back and said, "Let's learn how to fish!!" He stumbled on a rock and tumbled into the water and emerged laughing so hard he might as well drown.

Source scoffed with a smile and a small flick of the tail. She flinched as he fell in the water instead. "Get out of there else I'll catch you instead," she said with a bigger laugh she tried pulling him out, but his body strength took her in too. She laughed. "Well, it looks like it was the other away around, you caught me." she said and laughed even harder.

He smiled and laughed innocently. "Best catch ever!" He jested and began to swim around until he felt a fish swim underneath him and he yelped in surprise. He looked under the water and after realizing it was only a scaly fish, he lifted his head with an embarrased smile. "My bad...Fishing now?"

Source smiled and laugh. "Guess so." she murmured and got out the water shaking herself off. She laughed and pulled him out. "Finally... now." She spotted that fish again and smiled eyeing it carfully. Once it was close, she dipped her paw in the water and slipped it out. Blood flew into the air and the fish landed onto the floor, dead.

For a moment, he just stared at the fish. Then he started to chuckle to himself. "Wow," he said, smiling and laughing. "Two things. One, now I feel stupid, because I didn't know it was that easy!! Two, I've never laughed so much in my entire life...." He looked at her with loving eyes. "even though i just met you," he laughed again and dropped his gaze to the fish.

Source sighed and looked at the fish, after he dropped the gaze from her. "Well, I never laughed in my life, my life was nothing but.... an unfair game..." she murmured before she looked up at him now. "untill I met you...." she admitted and smiled.

Raven smiled happily and nuzzled her cheek gently. "I'm so glad...that you're happy now...." He said, nearly in tears. He had never had anybody to love before. He smiled and tugged her ear playfully.

Source murred at the happy moment til her tugged her ear playfully. She smiled and laughed, growling playfully. Suddenly, she picked up the fish and threw it at his face before running off laughing,

Raven I staggered back when I felt the fish hit my face. I burst into laughter and chased after her, tackling her and bringing her to the ground before placing my maw over hers gently in a loving manner.

Source smiled happily and lifted herself to touch noses with him before tackling him this time she growled playfully and nuzzled his side happily.
