I walked up to my quarters and sat on the edge of the bed, looking out across the sunset. I sighed and folded my hands in my lap. I changed back into my armor and snuck out of the palace. I knew it'd piss Belenus off if he found out I left. I grabbed Bullet and mounted him, galloping out of the palace at full speed. I looked back once, but then kept riding on...

I brought Bullet to a steady trot when we were far enough away. I brushed hair out of my ear and, although I could still see the palace, I knew i was far enough away to try it. I dismounted Bullet and untacked him. I slapped his rump and he went galloping away.... I left the tack there for anybody to find. I took my special dagger and threw it towards the castle. My throw was quite powerful and it landed in the dirt right before the castle door. Then, I turned and began to walk away.

I looked at Bullet's hoofprints and began to walk away again. Belenus was in my thoughts. Why was he so angry? I frowned and sat down, watching the sunset go down completely. The darkness surrounded me. If I had been an ordinary woman, I wouldn't ever have been able to last this night. Since I was an assassin, I was trained and prepared for the unpredictable. I kept walking, sword unsheated and wielded.

I saw two people running. One was Princess! Out of the dark, I lunged on top of her, knocking her to the ground. I held my sword to her throat and looked at the other accomplice. "And what exactly do you think you're doing?" I said, keeping Princess pinned underneath me

Princess swiftly grabbed the sword from her hand and kicked her off pinning her down. "Oh, missy. I have to get back to my village... sorry, I would love to stop and play fighting games but I gotta run...." she said, dropping the sword and grabbed her friends hand swiftly running, never looking back.

In a swift acrobatic movement, I landed in front of the two again. I pulled a rope from my pocket and lassoed it around Princess's neck, pulling tight. "You're not going anywhere." I smirked.

Princess chuckled and rolled her eyes.. "I bet I'd do... Marco!" she called... then, a lot of dogs came knocking her down and chewing on her clothing.. when they got her to let go of the rope, Princess knew she did not have time to stop and try to get it lose... that would keep her busy til Princess got to her village... she ran swiftly grabbing her friend again.

I kicked the dogs away from me, slicing some of their stomachs with my sword. When I realized the had gone, I cursed loudly and stabbed my sword into the ground. Silently, I began following them, but they had no clue..

Since I was highly trained as an assassin, I could follow somebody when there was no evidence on where they had gone. even with no sound. I kept them in my sight, although they were still oblivious to me.

Princess stopped. "Listen..." she whispered. She heard leaves cracking a small bit. "We're not alone..." she whispered and looked around she grabbed her friends hand and ran quickly, trying not make whoever was following them hear.

I climbed up into a tree and jumped from treetop to treetop, so it just sounded like I was a squirel. I stayed a bit behind them, but I followed them all the way.
