I was lead into auction ring my nostril's flaring red. I jerked on the chain lead line, almost stepping on the handler. The people in the stands stopped chartering once I was in the ring. I walked in a tight circle around the handler as the auctioneer started to read my pedigree. Auctioneer- Now hear is a colt by the halter champion Fire Wind out of the famous Thee Desperado Star, he is a two-year-old dark bay.
I jumped to the side when I heard the bidding start at $5,000. The bidding grew to $9,000, I reared the handler let the lead line slip threw his finger's. When I came back down he closed in on my small handsome head holding tight to my halter. "Easy boy." his voice was soft. The bidding grew once more to $11,000. He trotted me around the ring, my high set tail barley trailed along the ground.
My dark eye's grew larger and the crowed grew louder as the bid went up to $13,000.
