Name: Tama 'thunder'
~
Age: 8
~
Coat: Black and White Tobiano
~
Eyes: Amber
~
Breed: Pinto
~
Gender: Mare
~
Personality: Tama is very wise and knows the entire land like the back of her hoof. She is rather blunt and what she says hurts, but is always the truth. She’s beginning to learn some of how to deal with problems without baring fangs, but it is her nature to react viciously when challenged from her life as a warrior. When angered she becomes a force to be reckoned with. Tama is adamant about her opinions and it takes something extreme to change her mind. She doesn’t take well to insults, against her or those close to her. Be careful, for if you really rub her the wrong way you may find yourself missing a limb or two. Despite her fiery temperament, Tama is a kind mare at heart. Tama always keeps a cool tone in her head. She loves to run, and is quick and fleet. She is a great fighter, making good use of her surroundings and her quick, clever mind. Discreet and sneaky when necessary. She is intelligent and is particularly street smart, and her mind is sharp and decisive. She shows no mercy and will kill anyone in her way.
~
History: Tama lived most of her life as an Indian War Horse in the tribe that once resided in Painted Ledge. Her mother was the chief's main warrior horse while her father was a wild horse that breed with her mother while the chief was asleep. When Tama was a year old her mother was fatally wounded during a battle and died from blood loss shortly after returning to the village. The chief, after mourning the loss of his favorite mare, began her training immediately and started riding her into battles at the young age of three. The chief never bred Tama because he didn't think there was any stallion worthy of his prized mare. When Tama was 6 year old she was taken captive by the American army who knew the chief would do anything for his precious mare. The chief, knowing the village would never stand a chance against the army's guns and cannons, surrendered in exchange for the villages loyalty and the safe return of his mare. Two days later the village had a feast in celebration of the treaty but half way through the army suddenly attacked the village and massacred the entire village before they had a chance to fight back. The army had tricked the village into thinking they wanted peace and never even brought the mare to the village. While the army was distracted with setting up for the invasion Tama escaped and went back to the village but by then it was to late and the entire village was dead.
