I wandered quickly. Sigh. There was a buck after me. Once I thought he was gone I stopped there breathing heavy. I was tired of not being like the others. I'm always the scary one. I entered my pack with my tail between my legs whining. "Another failure huh loser?" Asked one of the pack members. I kept my head low and slowly nodded. The three of the pup who always teased me laughed. I sighed. I didn't like being here. But...I wouldn't have anyone else. I entered my cave that hid from the others and lied there sadly whining.

Moon ~ I walked through the forest coming to a dead halt near another pack, they were teasing another wolf and I sighed.... I crept around the edges of the trees heading towards the cave, I was a natural born hunter and could enter most places without being noticed. I entered the cave, and saw the young wolf, I yipped to her and said " Ignore them....."

I looked over at the famous hunter, Moon and sighed. My head lifted. "I can't because it's true." I say sadly and put my head down on my paws.

Moon ~ I looked at her, and sighed... " Come with me...I will will teach you..." I was well known around these parts, as a great hunter. I pushed her side and walked out of the cave, the other young pups, looked at me, and I stood tall waiting for my student to come out of the cave.....

I whine coming out the cave looking at the others. I heard them snickering and calling me a loser. I hated it and maybe it was time to learn. I lifted my head someone growled and I lowered it again following my teacher.

Moon ~ I walked over to the other youngsters and snapped aggresivly at them, walking past them and heading to my hunting grounds..." First, You will learn about stealth..." I said to her....

"Okay..." I say slowly. I was ready to learn this confidence. I see a buck and whine he turned and snorted at me pawing the ground it seemed EVERYONE knew that I was scary I jumped up and hid.

Moon ~ I chuckled lightly and barked at the buck to leave. I walked over to her and said " Okay, First we need to combat your fear..." I snapped at her heels, trying to get her to fight back with me...

I whine and growl small. I nip at her nose and jumped back, just incase she TRIED to snap at me but then I thought about it saw what she was doing. I was a big pup for my age but she was bigger than I. I went under her and lifted my back to make her fall on her back. I smile small feeling proud and pounced on Moon.

Moon ~ I smiled as she pounces on me and I snarl and lower my body to the ground.... " It is good that you, got me the first time, but a real opponent will not stop just because you threw them on their back, attack me as if you life depended on it..." I said, my face was seroius and my voice low...

Moon ~ " It is not nice, but is neccesary, now attack or I will..." I said, pacing from side to side....

"Okay..." I then attack her us rolling in circles over and over again once we stopped I had my paw lifted and my claws out ready to scratch her. "Are you sure?" I say with a small voice.

Moon ~ At her moment hesitation, I rolled from under her and pinned her down... " Every time you hesitate, your enemy has a chance to attack." I bite her leg, as a lesson. I released her from the grip I had on her and stepped back..

I yip in pain and growl. "It's over!" I say and attack her scratching her. Then pushing her. Then throw her with my back growling still to back off. "How was that?" I ask.

Moon ~ I growled and smiled, she was a quick learner. " Very well...." I walked around her..... " What have you heard about me...? " I asked sitting down...I needed to know how good a listeneer she was

I smile. "Um...that you were a very skilled and wise hunter you're good at teaching other pups about life that don't know." I tell to her.

Moon ~ I smiled, she was indeed a very good listener. " Right, I will show how to bring down a deer...." I said, throwing my head in the direction we were heading next.

Now I was more excited and hoping this was gonna be fun.

Moon ~ I ran towards the hunting grounds a few miles east, Seeing a large buck infront of us... " Stay here and watch...."I said, lowering my body to the floor and moved towards the buck's rear... he grazed happily, as I moved in ready for the kill...

I watched her carefully and happily. I was ready for that, that looked easy. Kinda of...

Moon ~ I checked by my feet, making sure I was not going to stand on anything that was going to give away my posistion. I moved forwards and bolted out of the bushes, the buck took off, but did not get very far. I leaped on his back and but down on the back off his neck... He bucked and sent me flying over his antlers. As I was flying through the air, I grasped onto the bucks nose, pulling him to the floor. He fell onto the floor, and I bite down on his throat cutting of the air supply. It was not the finest example of hunting for a rookie to understand, but I thought that it might show how quickly it can and went wrong.

I ran over "Whoa...that was AWESOME!!!" I smile.

Moon ~ I smiled and said " Yes, but do you see how things can change so easily....not always for the good... one of his horns could off easily punctured my side..." I slit, the bucks side, allowing access to his flesh, I howled calling the other youngster over. for food
