I step back lightly when the pup rushes up to me. Raising my head high I look at her curiously before sighing and sitting. Finally they leave and I could relax, except to watch the humans. I watch closely when Avanipala gets in a rough with a human. I noticed right away that we had basically the same out look on... "humans" I growl in disgust wrinkling my nose. Getting back to my feet I look around trying to find a good spot to dig a hole to spend the night in. Lowering my nose I begin to walk around inspecting the cold snow covered earth for some softer snow.

Growling I nip the young dogs cheek, not in a hurtful manner but one that held a warning that it would be worse next time it happened. A wag my tail slowly once and dismiss it ever happened. Standing there next to the young wolf I was considerably taller. Ha..I thought to myself. I'm bigger than most male dogs here.

I jump back from the older female. "I said sorry." She gave a small bow before running to the front of her old sled and teasing the back hand dogs.

Smiling inwardly, but showing no emotion outwardly, I think: she will be a great sled dog someday. Very fast learner.. sighing again I break my gaze from watching the young female dog and refocus on finding the place I would spend the night.

Hearing commotion I lift my head up and peer out from under the heavily ladened, snow covered bush. My eyes caught the forms of the two secret lovers and that of the running young female dog, who at the time was being harrased by the one they called Scar. As my yellow eyes scanned the rest of the area I sigh and decide to remain quiet. This was the best sleeping spot I had ever found and captured my heat inside it furthering the warmth

Once about 5 miles from home I lied down and rolled around in the snow,until I looked like a snow monster.I rose to my paws and shook the snow from my coat.A single snow flake fell on my nose.I sighed,it was so peaceful out here.
