Forrest-

With cautious, delicate steps, I move my body through the winding forest. The soft ground, mixed with the mushy and colorful leaves padded my hooves, making it feel like I was walking upon a fluffy marshmallow. I found a small puddle, looking at my dappled appearance as my movement shook the water. I lowered my muzzle, the smell of the water was a beautiful scent, believe it or not. I drank silently, twitching my ears to every tweet, wind whistle and rustle of the landscape that was beheld around me. I trudged myself onward, looking around with dull glowing orange eyes, almost a hazed orange, yet glowing. Bewildered by the red colored trees, and the colorful leaves falling, I lost track of where I had been in the forest. But for and odd reason, I didn't mind being lost here. In the silent...I only listened...I drifted off into a slight sleep when the rain began to drizzle down...

Gretchen's long mane flew in the wind as she ran. It hadn't been long before she came apon a forest. The trees were quite tall... Gretchen had a snow white mane. Her pelt was brown with brown dapples. The mare entered the forest carefully. When a bush rattled, she turned her head to see only a badger emerging. It looked at her and squeaked then quickly ran into the bush. Sighing, Gretchen continued on. No one wanted a mare like her. She seemed to look like a stallion... Only a little bit shorter. Gretchen lifted her nose to the air to get the scent of a stallion. She smiled and galloped for a few more minutes until she came upon a stallion sleeping. The stallion had a dappled appearence. Rain dribbled down, making her head under a tree for shelter. Laying down, Gretchen laid her head down for a nice sleep.
