I lick my lips and whine again. Laying down I settle my head on my large paws and continue to watch the rocky bed next to the stream for any sign of Shasta.

Seeing her my eyes widen and I was instantly to my feet. In a flash I was by her side. "What happened?" I say as I let her support her weight on me if she wanted.

"Close your eyes and don't move" I say softly. As soon as she does all she could hear was some small noises then me telling her to reopen her eyes. "There all better." I say with a small grin. Her jaw was completely fixed and not even a scar was there.

I awoke in trembling fear,after noticing my mothers warm tail wasn`t around me.I whined and yipped.Then I spotted her beside the stranger wolf.I jogged up to them keeping a wary on YaWay.

I look at the young wolf. "We're talking hun, you'll have to wait by your sister." I say softly as I help Shasta. Undoubtly there would still be pain for a little while afterward.
