Heavey hooves puonded the soft ground of the forrest floor. rain pelted his coast, making main and tail stick to his drenched skin. a strike of lighting revealed a blacker than night, horse running like all hell was about to break loose, but wheather he was running too or from it was the qeustion. with nostirls flared and ears pinned back he stopped dead in his tracks, sliding across the mud. his ears swivled, listening, but nothing more could be heard but the loud booming of thunder. his sides heaved with forced breathing. red demonic eyes flickerd seeing nothing in the dark rain. there was no moon, no light at all. only rain and thunder and dancing lighting.

White muzzle softly munched on the grass I had found while wondering. Head lifted with perked ears- listening for company. No one had been seen for almost three days, and she was yearning for the company of another. She munched her grass slowly- stopping only to listen intently. Her tan body was small and her black white and tan legs strong as she stood ready for just about anything. It had also been raining nonstop for a day, and she had found shelter underneath a large pine tree. Now she only had to wait for company through the torrential downpour and she would be satisfied to wait out the storm.
After all, what was a little mud splatter to her? Splatter.

lighting struck angrily across the sky, followed closly by the loud tourment of the thunder. kill pinned his ear flat to his skull, his eyes readiant with red temper. furiously he threw himself onto his back hooves clawing with daggered hooves, once again the lighting threatend him. his fangs bared as he met the threat with his own. his hooves pounded back to the ground splattering mud from the soaked ground. he thrashed his head, soaked ebony main flying around him. he always fought in this manner with the rain, the rain brought sorrowfilled memories back to him like reopening flesh wounds. each time grew hearder to surpress them.

"why?!", he yelled up at the stormy heavens " why must you torment me in the manner?!" but the only response was the roar of thunder and his own voice echoing back to him. he felt the strain on his heart like someone trying to push a dagger thruogh his skin. his head hung low, forelock fallin before his gleaming red eyes. he didnt care, nothin mattered to him any longer. "let the water wash over me.." he said helplessly wishing his end would come, but it wouldnt. he couldnt die again. necromancy had cursed him and blessed him all at once.

walking through the rain was ok if you had a friend with you, but walking alone in the rain with thunder crashing and lighting dancing across the sky is no fun alone..at all. sighing i try to shake my forelock out of my eyes with no luck "aw come on! this is getting old!" i yelled at the sky, i was soaked to the bone and freezing, looking around for shelter was my goal for the night but the sky was black if you didn't count the lighting flashing across the sky but still that only gave me a few seconds of light. i huffed and shake more water off then a bolt of lighting hit the ground close to me fallowing a boom of thunder that shook the ground, my eye get wide "im so out of here!" i yelled bolting into the night. so now i was soaked to the bone,freezing and now scared....its been a great night! running scared out of my mind i see another horse, i try to stop but i couldn't get a grip with all this freakin mud "oh crap!" i cried then slam into him, falling back onto my butt i looked at the stallion with wide eyes my sides heaving
