merla walks into a secluded glade about a mile from where she last saw angelina and white fang. she is glad that angelina and WF have forgiven eachother but is extremely sad and disappointed in herself that she has already lost her only two friends. "when will u ever learn merla?" she says to herself "that violence and hatred only bring melancholy and and bitterness from everywhere. ah.. oh well... i guess that fate doesnt want our destinies to be intertwined after all....." merla lays down in the tall grass and ponders the meaning of life
