i move around the grass silently, the sword wobbled in my hand a little, despite myself i laughed lightly, Nicks sword was heavier then mine and trow off my balance, i swing it around then let out a breath then jumped up and do a back flip. i land it and camp my hand over my mouth to stop from yelling out a 'yes!' i grinned looking up at the moon "i did it Nick" i whispered then lay on my back looking up at the stars, i sighed thinking about Stefan, yea i was starting to like him....

Stefan
Scowling up at the ceiling above me, I shake my head, forcing my eyes to close and willing myself to sleep. It didn't work, however, and soon I was standing once more. Walking over to my cloak, I dig through the large pockets for a moment before pulling out the locket and the ring. Staring down at them, l take a piece of leather out. Putting the locket into my pocket, I string the ring onto the leather, tying it and slipping it over my head. Walking over to the window, I hold the ring in my hand, staring through the curtains without moving them, wondering what we were going to do now.

i blow my bangs out of my face looking at the stars and sighed, i hold Nicks ring in my hand "Nick? what am i going to do? im starting to like Stefan but..." i trail off then groaned looking up at the stars "your not going to help me are you" i grumbled then flip up now standing on my feet. i grumbled and then looked around the woods, then freeze hearing a rustle sound in the bushes "oh shit" i mumbled under breath then sighed seeing it was just a rabbit, i rolled my eyes then scan the woods again

I sighed, closing my eyes as I leaned against the window frame, frowning slightly. I felt almost as if I were betraying Ashely by falling for AnnaBell, and I knew that she had her own problems as well, her own story and such... Looking up at the ceiling again, I scowl, suddenly sick of havin to be on the run all the time, having to travel just so I could help kill someone for some other person. It was driving me crazy! Shaking my head, I drop the ring that hung around my neck, turning to look out the window, up at the stars again, knowing I would never be able toi get to sleep now.

i shake my head and turn on my heels and walk back to the house, i couldnt sleep and now i was hungry, i walk to the door and open it as quietly as i could, slipping in i closed the door and put Nicks sword on the couch, i walk into the kitchen and open the cabinet and sighed seeing there wasnt much to pick from, i grumbled and grab a can of chicken noddle soup. i try to be as quiet as i could as i heat up the soup then sit on the couch after flipping on the TV, i flip the channels and stop at a movie, eating my soup i watch the Tv blankly

I hear the door open quietly, stiffening slightly. Moving quietly over to my door, I listen as someone moved around in nthe living room and kitchen, recognizing Anna's stride. Sighing, I move away from the door, not knowing what to do as I heard the T.V. turn on.

i watch the TV blankly then sighed banging my head against the couch "ow" i mumbled then stand up setting my bowl on the floor, i take a deep breath and then knock on Stefans door "hey can i come in?" i asked softly shifting from foot to foot waiting for him to tell me to go away or to come in

I jumped slightly at the sound of her voice, looking towards the door. "Of course," I say, my voice low.

I shrug, turning to look at her now. "No problem," I say softly, holding back a sigh as I watch her. Hell, what was I thinking??

i looked at his face and my heart drops to my feet. i looked down swallowing "so uh..night then" i mumbled then turn on my heels walking towards the door, i bit my lip what the hell was wrong with me!? i knew he didnt like me!

I open my mouth as if to say something, but don't know what as she turns to leave. Reaching forward, I grab her arm, stepping closer to her and looking down at her with serious, intense eyes. "Are you alright?" I ask her quietly, wanting so bad to hold her again but not wanting to push it too far.

i give a small yelp in surprise when he grabs my arm, i looked up at him and swallowed seeing the look in his eyes, i start to nod my head but stop and shake it "yes..no..oh i dont know!" i trow my hands up "do you know that you confuse the hell outta me?" i asked looking him in the eyes mine confused and frustrated with myself

I take a step back once I see the look in her eyes, sighing and scowling. "You do the same to me," I say, letting my hand drop to my sides. "I would just prefer it if you stay the way you are and not become suicidal because of drepression," I lie, only saying half the truth. I shake my head slightly. I wanted her safe, and happy, but how could either of those things happen while I was around?

i sighed and looked at the ground my hands at my sides, i sighed and looked up at him "im not depressed" i say then tuck my hair out of my face scared to ask the question by i had to know "Stefan? your..your not going to leave me are you?" i asked softly now, a little fear shone in my bright green eyes "you...you cant leave...i cant do this on my own" i whispered not telling him the hole truth if he left my heart would dye all over again

I tensed slightly, opening my mouth to talk. *I'll leave as soon as this is over* I thought to myself, what I wanted to say. But I couldn't; I would never be able to keep that promise, anyway. So, instead, regardless of my plans, a whole new sentance came out of my mouth, already forming the words before I could take them back. "I'll stay as long as you want me to," I heard myself say, sounding as if it was coming from someone else, like I was standing behind a closed door, straining my ears to hear and barely succeeding. Only l was the one talking, and l could hear the words clearly.

i looked at him with big green eyes, "you..you mean that?" i asked sounding like a little girl, i licked my dry lips then looked at him my mind racing did he really mean that? i mean what..what if i wanted him to stay forever? whoa hold up girl! he dosent like you! you keeping him with you would make you seam even more like a bi*ch, i snapped at myself inside my head. i looked at the wall behind him. then finely focus on him again "thanks Stefan, i wont make you stay" i looked down "Thats not far to you, cause if it was up to me, i would never let you leave" i say then my eye get wide and i clamp my hand over my mouth. oh my god! i did not just stay that!

I sigh softly, nodding. "Of course I do," I say, looking down at her. Frowning slightly, I cup er chin in one of my hands, forcing her to look up at me. "Anna, you don't have to make me leave. I don't want to, but I will if you tell me to," I say, frowning slightly down at her, my own words surprising me. I continued looking down into her eyes, my gaze steady as I promised her silently, thinking about her words. She was so much different now than the girl I had first met who wanted nothing more than to kill her father...

i feel him life up my chin and i looked up at him blushing. i looked at him listening to his words, blinking a few times ad they sink in. my face know covered with surprise, my eyes lock with him for a moment and i nodded small to the promise that he silently made to me. i looked at him and smiled small thinking that he was different from the hard ass guy i first met. i smirked slightly seeing that was the same thing he was thinking about me "Stefan? do you like how i am now? or how i was when we first met?" i asked looking him in the eyes

I smile small, my grin lopsided slightly, as I see her blush. "I think I like them both, it's still you, afterall," I say quietly, taking a small step closer so I didn't have to reach so far to touch her, my eyes intense and serious as they stared down at her.

a small grin appers on my face looking up at him "thanks" i say softly then shivered slightly seeing the serious look in them "Stefan, if you have something to say to me then say it" i tell him then take a small step to him and slowly reach my hand out and get a hand full of his shirt in my fist, as my chin tingled in his hand

I felt a small tremor run up my spine when she stepped closer, my expression still cool but my mind was reelin. Taking in a breath, I let it out in a sigh, my hand moving from her chin to slide over her neck and support her ead, my thumb stroking her cheek softly as I looked down at her. My blood raced through my system, my thoughts only focused on images of her that coursed through my mind. Sdenly, my mind and thoughts faltered as they shifted back to Ashely, the way she looked when she smiled... I take a deep brath, wondering absently abu what I should do. Closing my eyes, I heard her words running through my mind ne last time. *Listen to your heart* I opened my eyes once more to continue staring down at her. "I have, absolutely no idea, what you'll say or think, but I love you," I said, my grip loosening slightly as I expected her t pull back, to let go of my shirt and leave

i hold my breath as his hand slides down my neck and his thumb rubs my cheek, it takes everything i have not to lean into his touch. i looked up at him with bright green eyes waiting for whatever he was going to say. i gasp softly hearing him as my mind go spinning he..he loves me! my heart slams into my chest. i swallowed and my eyes filled with shock and pure joy, slowly i move my hand to where he was holding my head and put mine on top of his and leaned into his touch slightly, closing my eyes i was almost sure i heard Nick whispering for me to get him go and love Stefan, tears of joy swell up in my eyes as i look back up at Stefan "well i was hopin you would say that" i say with a sheepish grin

I smile small, sighing softly as I felt her hand on top of mine, holding her a little more tightly now. "So you were, now?" I ask, letting out a soft chuckle. "I'm glad I could please you then," I say with a crooked smile, wanting to kiss her but at the same time not wanting to go too far. I still didn't know much about how she felt.

i looked up at him and chuckled lightly "yea well theirs something i have to tel you now" i took a deep breath then locked eyes with him "i love you too" i say then my gaze flicks down to his lips then back up to his eyes, why was i so nerves to kiss him? i could fight a guy four times my size no prob, but my legs were turning into jello at the thought of kissing Stefan. summing up all my courage i stood in tiptoes and lean up and kissed him lightly on the lips, i grip his shirt tighter in my first as a zap of something shot through my body
