I stand close to Abby's side, knowing she was weak from the birthing. I look down at Godiva with loving eyes. I nuzzle her nose to get her scent.

I look down at her, my big powerful head shadowing the sun. I lower my head to her level and meet her eyes with mine. she was a beauty. I look back up at Abby, standing so wonderful against the apple tree background, like she hadnt just done one of the hardest things in the world.

I chuckle and nuzzle her back. I elevate my head again and start to walk away to the creek. I walk past Abby and brush her side as i go.

I chuckle and lower my head to look at her. I kiss her nose and then look to abby. I wink. I gently nudge Godiva on the rear with my knee and she flops into the water. Before she can realize what happend i hopped in afte her and smiled.
