Jezzi and Dakota's Foal

-She walked in,her breath heavy,her pace steady.She looked around and found a perfect spot to lay in.She laid in the tall grass and nickered-

[Faye]

Dakota trotted up behind her.
He walked over near her head.
He lowered his head down to her head.
Dakota nickered a soothing tune to her.

-She laid and began to push,a while later a little white colt appeared,popping his head up,almost right away trying to stand-
Holy crap,very energetic.
-She stood and licked him clean,helping him stand.-
Any name suggestions.
I like Alexander and Gavin.
-She smiled as the foal suckled-

[Faye]

Dakota eyed the young colt suspiciously.He sighed and began to graze.

[Guest]

-She nudged him-
Whats wrong?...Dakota. Do you not like him?

[Faye]

"Oh,its just it happened so fast.I like Gavin the best"Dakota nickered.

[Guest]

Then We shall name our little white,Gavin.
-Smiles and nuzzles him-

[Faye]

Dakota looked the colt over,nudging him from time to time,to see if he had a sturdy build.Dakota raised his head and smiled.Gavin had the build as he.

Gavin-
-He managed a tiny rear and neighed loudly and put his front hooves on his dads back playfully than looked at his mom for approval-

Jezzi-
-She nodded her head and smiled gently,grazing-

[Faye]

Dakota started to trot,tossing his head about,telling his son to run,use his legs.He bucked a few times and squealed.

[Guest]

Gavin-
-He whinnied and grinned,he squealed with a buck and snorted,chasing after his dad and bucked high-

[Faye]

Dakota pranced over to Jezzi."When shall we begin training my dear?"He pawed the ground anxious to see the moves Gavin came up with while he was gone.

Gavin-
-He skid to a stop,then reared up and nickered,prancing along the edge of the ocean-

Jezzi-
-She looked at him-
Training?

[Faye]

"When he gets older he will have to fight against other stallions and most colts go through training."
Dakota snorted.He over at Gavin for a second and chuckled at his antics.

[Guest]

Gavin-
-He mysteriously appeared behind his dad and nickered shaking his mane-

Jezzi-
Ive never heard of that,none of my mare friends put there colts through training.I mean..hes only a few days old.I think when he is at least 1 then we can.
-She nuzzled Dakota-
Is that ok?

[Faye]

"Yes that is fine,I went through it with many other colts.
My sire trained 5 of us."Dakota nuzzled Jezzi and whirled around ruffling Gavin`s mane.

[Guest]

Gavin-
-Whinnied and pawed at his dad,speeding the other direction,offering a race-

Jezzi-
-Grunted and smiled-
Ok.

[Faye]

Dakota smiled at Jezzi and tossed his head accepting the offer from Gavin.
He jogged up to Gavin.He waited for Gavin to say go.

[Guest]

-He reared up and whinnied-
GOO!!!
-He darted off at amazing speed whirling past his dad-

[Faye]

Dakota cantered slowly.He would let Gavin win the race.He pretended to try hard though.

[Guest]

-Gavin was not dumb, he knew exactly what his clever dad was doing,he slowed and went behind his dad, raising an eyebrow-

[Faye]

Then with a burst of speed,Dakota shot ahead.He ran straight into the lake,winning the race.Dakota chuckled and grinned at Gavin.

-He snorted not happy with his dad.He snorted and beat his hooves in anger,galloping back to mom crying-

Jezzi-
Dakota..why did you do that?.

[Faye]

"Well he did want to race me.."Dakota tried hard not to chuckle.He shook his body,letting the extra drop of water fall to the ground.

Yes but you tricked him.

-She snorted and nuzzled Gavin-

-He laid down with a huff,wiping his tears off in his coat-
