I wake up feeling the fear that filled her i stretch with a groan exstending my claws i yawn then look at her "What's wrong Snow?"

Mist Cloud suddenly yawed, and pushed her head deep into Lannin's fur while mumbling: "Daddy..." and continuide sleeping.
Snow looked at her daughter. She was not the only one who mistook Lannin for Black Night.
Running Star, as always, woke up earlyer then his sister. With sleepy eyes, he looked at Lannin. The little sparkle in his eyes disapeared, and he put his head back down.
White Snow knew what he had thought. He was hoping for Black Night, his father.
Snow leaned her head against Lannin.

I am so selfish... I am demanding this stranger's time and attention, and why? Simply, because my mate died of old age... I knew that could happen any moment... Yet i dind't see it coming... "Thank u Lannin." She spoke soflty.

I nod and nuzzle the pups to let them know i was getting up "What did Black Night look like?"

Snow froze for a second, but relaxed then. She gently pushed Mist with her nose, and said: "He was ... very gentle ... he looked past the obious to see the truth, the hidden." Mist yawed, and Snow pick up Mist, and set her gently down on her paws. "He understood what ... other needed, and selfishly gave them that..." her attemt to wake up Mist failed. she simply slide back to the ground, and fell back asleep.
Running Star was awake, and yawing tried to strech himself, causing him to fall over.

I nod and smile at the pups and lean down to Mist "Mist sweety, wake up. Its time to get up." I say very softly to her

"Hmmm..." Mist muttered. She pushed her paw agenst his snout and spoke clairer: "Daddy, I don't wanna get up" And she twisted around, not aware of anything else.

Lannin stretched his wings to get the cramps out of them and spotted a large Hare and took off after it

Mist had finally woken up, and realised her mistake. she let her mother continuie her washing.
Running Star ran after Lannin. He wanted to help hunt, but quickly lost sight of him

Running Star's spark in this eyes returned. He happely ran after Lannin. He barked very happely, and ran as fast as he could

Luckly, Running Star was quite quick. He didn't gain his name for no meaning, after all.
meanwhile, Snow was was finished washing Cloud. O that little runt! She tought He ran off before he could be washed! Just wait till he gets back, i'll have washed twice.

Running Star made an attempt to bite the rabbit, but due of this small size, the rabbit simply pushed him over.

Lannin~ I chuckle my voice always had a dark twinge to it and the purple gem on my forehead glows and i watch the rabbit closely then it drops dead and Running Star's feet

Running Star quickly bite it, and mumbled: "I got it, I got it!" And despritly tried to drag it towards Lannin.

Mist Cloud and White Snow where busy gathering berries and roots. Unlike most wolfs, Snow had learned that the occasial root can save you from starvation. Snow sighed as her daughter made an attemt to catch a mice. "Sweety, mice don't wanna be our friends." Mist looked very sad. "But i wanna be friends with them."
Snow smiled. "I know sweety." Mist sighed. "I wish i had more friends to play with."
Snow thought about her daughter's wish ... and about Lannin.
