Stetson: *I snort and and rear, my blue eyes taking in the area* "I claim this area!!

*I trot in and look around, seeing the stallion I freeze and wait for him to acknowledge my presence so that I may approach him*

Stetson: *Never looking back, staring out into my land I sense her* Yes? *I turn my head to look back* Ahh, come over here*

*I nod and approach quietly and bow* "Hello" *I say almost in a whisper and get back up and avoid looking into his eyes, I'm usually shy around new horses*

*I arch my necks and dip my head* "I'm Stetson. You are?"

*I finally look at him* "Orinoco" *you notice my eyes are the color like that of flowing waves in the tropical waters, thus why I was named Orinoco*

*I grin* Nice to meet you, Orinoco. How did you come by me?

[Guest]

*my expression remains nuetral* "I was traveling and could sense someone else here"

*I nod* Would you like to stay for a bit? *I flick and ear over to a sandy floor covered by a canopy of short trees, obviously where I slept*

*I relax and smile for the first time* "Yea, sure"

Stetson: *I nod and swat my tail from side to side, furiously trying to rid a horsefly biting my back*

*I see it and walk to his side. Cautiosly I reach up and kill it. I back up and laugh* "Its dead"

"Thanks" *I shake off the feeling and graze by her, but a distance away*

O: *I flick my tail* "no problem" *I close my eyes and swish my tail back and forth*

Stetson: So, where you from?

[Guest]

O: *I shrug* "Here and there"

Stetson: *I nod*

*I open my eyes and look at him* "how about you?"

"A ranch in Texas"

*shock appears in my eyes* "you used to be a ranch horse?!"

*I nod* Poker Joe worked with me.

*My shocked expression fades* "Wow, I wouldn't think a ranch horse could survive out here and have land of his own. But obviously, they can"

*I flicker my ears* We can be tougher than any horse *I growl* We withstand weather of every kind out in the work force.
