" besides" i said "if i wanted u for my meal u would be dead already" i grinned " i am Defiance, daughter of Hecate and Tonate, the Rulers of The Lamia. and this is my companion of Soul, Zuni" i motion with my paw to the raven perched upon my head "She is The Daughter of Taura and Redfern, The Rulers of The Core." i say to them "what are ur designations?"

zuni:
i fold my wings and wait for their replies, still cautious of the canines
