"Tigerlilly, come with me" i call and lead my sister over to a pool of still water. "do you see the fish?" I ask, marveling at their shiny scales flasing like mirrors in the sunlight.

"oh sure" I mumble under my breath. "I'm adopted so I don't count." I walk over to a stream and drink, then walk into the shallows, lay down and sleep.

I shake my head at her hostility towards me and go back to sleep, the water soothing me.
