A Mare Searches

Iolla

The misty grey mare lifted her majestic wings and flapped once, sending herself into the air with one flap. She flapped once more and rose higher and higher, her great body soaring high above the ground. She shook her head, making her long mane float like mist on a cool morning breeze. She was wild and free but without a stallion to care for her, to love her dearly.

She pulled her wings forward and dived down steeply, spreading her wings out just in time to catch the air and lift away from the ground once more. As she ascending she called out to all "I am Iolla, I am alone and in need of a partner to love me," Then she pulled her wings forward and dived again, landing softly on the ground with a thud.
