-Zoe-

Zoe groaned as she sat up. She couldn’t remember what had happened. Last thing she remembered was being at the Morrison’s house taking care of their kid, Abigail, when all of the sudden the power had gone out. What had happened next, she couldn’t remember. The power was out here, too, so maybe she was still at the Morrison’s? No…the wasn’t possible. The floor she was on was cold and hard, and she’d just been on the carpet of the Morrison’s living room floor playing dollies with Abigail. What the hell had just happened? There hadn’t been a storm… Zoe remained quiet for a second, listening to see if there had been a storm and she just hadn’t remembered? Had she hit her head on something? Zoe grimaced an rubbed the back of her head. She’d definitely hit her head on something. What it was, she wasn’t sure. Slowly she scaled up the wall and felt around for a light switch. There was bound to be one somewhere. Her piano fingers trailed against the wall whose coldness matched that of the floor, cracked in places and altogether unwelcoming. All she could hear were her old, worn Converse scuffing against the floor. She wasn’t knocking into anything which led her to believe the room must be devoid of any furniture. Or…anything at all for that matter. No carpet, no walling (or so it seemed) and she couldn’t even find a stupid light switch. When she reached the corner, she sighed in frustration and cupped her face in her hands. She wasn’t back at the Morrison’s and she needed to be back there. Abigail was only five! She couldn’t stay at home by herself like this. Zoe wouldn’t be able to stand being responsible for Abby if anything happened to her. Abby was precious and everyone loved her – Zoe included. Sliding down the wall she got a grip on her meandering thoughts. If there wasn’t a light switch, there at least had to be a door somewhere, right? Too bad it was too dark to see a damn thing…

-Evie-

Evelyn rubbed her eyes and let out a loud yawn. Her head hurt like a mofo and she couldn’t figure out why. She’d just been at her boyfriend’s house watching a horror movie and Jarrett had gone to go get some more popcorn and she didn’t remember what happened next. Whatever it was, it was something serious. The room she was in now was pitch black. “Jarrett?” Evelyn asked dumbly, getting to her feet and feeling along the wall. Her butt was cold from the floor she’d just been sitting on and she wanted to go back and cuddle with her Jarrett. Maybe he was playing a practical joke on her? “Jarrett, this isn’t funny!” Evelyn crossed her arms and moved forward, feeling along the wall for the blinds. Maybe if she could open them she’d get a little bit more light on the TV room… “Aha!” Evelyn smiled triumphantly when she came across a light switch and flipped it. She turned back around when the lights illuminated the room. What she saw wasn’t the TV room of Jarrett’s house. Instead she was in a room filled with people she didn’t know. After taking a moment to examine everybody’s faces, she giggled. “I found the light switch everyone!” she exclaimed with a cutesy tilt of her head and rested her pointer finger against the side of her chin with a girly smile.

~Adrian~

Adrian, by habit, opened up his left eye and kept the right one closed under the eye patch. There wasn't much of difference between what his eyes could see. Being blind in his right, he had only known pitch black in it; it's exactly what his left eye was picking up. He blinked a few times to try adjust to the lack of lightening, but it was was to no avail. He groaned inwardly and ran a hand through his messy jet black hair. This really better not have been some psycho chick's idea of using a prostitute for her kicks and amusement. The twenty year old was definitely not amused. All he could remember was walking into a crappy, run down, overly priced, motel room with some hot-as-fuck red head whom had paid him half on the spot. He most likely wasn't going to be getting that second half either. He could honestly care less if he was kidnapped and killed, he had nothing to lose; nothing left behind. He was a bit more ticked off at the fact that he wouldn't get the chance with that young honey who would have been the only reason he made rent that month. He looked around a bit with his useful electric blue eye and slid up the wall with a quiet sigh, trying to get rid of the pounding in his head and clear his thoughts. He was going to call out to see if anyone else was there when a light was flicked on. Both of his eyes scrunched up some so the only useful one could adjust. He almost laughed at his other eye, but one look around the room was enough to tell him that nothing was a laughing matter at this point. Dressed in his black and fairly worn out skinny jeans with chains; dark grey converse with black laces; long sleeved grey  shirt that he had rolled up to his elbows; and dark blue denim jean vest that was never to be buttoned unless he wanted to look like an idiot, he rose a brow at the perky girl by the light switch. "Do you see where we are, Private Perky?" He asked sarcastically with a small scoff, as he crossed his arms and then his ankles -so he was leaning on the wall- before continuing, not breaking eye contact with the girl. "Don't get so excited about finding out where we are. This maybe Hell for all we know."

~Janice~

Abrupt light made Janice jolt out of her sleeping state; her head pounded and she felt a bit dizzy, too. She looked around the room and was immediately worried for their -meaning all of the strangers in the room- well-being. This looked like something out of the crime shows she would watch with her mother every once in a while. That didn't help her thoughts, and neither did the gloomy male's pessimistic words. She looked up and listened to the conversation going on before taking in a deep breath. Do not freak out. Do not freak out. Calm down, Janice. Do not freak out. She chanted to herself, trying to keep her panic at bay. This was a bit terrifying. But, what could she do to contribute to the case. "Is there a note or something that might give up some answers?" She queried, pushing up the glasses on the bridge of her nose. She was still trying not to freak out, but at least she had been able to speak up some. The last thing she remembered was studying for a test that was the next day. What if she missed it? Janice! Get a hold of yourself! This is not the time to think about grades! she scolded herself and went back to the matters at hand. Would anyone find them? More importantly, Could they even get out of this room?

Dead Men Tell No Tales

Kylie
A dull throbbing at the base of her skull pulled Kylie back into awareness, reverberating down her spine and throughout her crown. Opening her eyes, her hand instinctively lifted to her temple, massaging the soft flesh there as she blinked rapidly, her eyes failing to adjust to the lack of light in the room. The ground was cold against the bare skin of her arms, goosebumps dotting her exposed body, and an involuntary shiver ran up the course of her spine. Despite the drumming inside her head, she was dimly aware of the hard concrete ground her hip was currently digging into. Wait a minute… Wasn't the floor at the piano studio where she took her music lessons hardwood, not concrete? Hard as she tried, the specific details of the studio she had just walked into continued to elude her. 'Walked into...,' Why was she on the floor? And why was it so dark?

Pushing herself up into a sitting position, her bum already aching against the uncomfortable seat, she lifted her hands in front of her face, waving them back and forth. She couldn't see a thing, no matter how close she brought her hands to her face, though there was nothing drawn over her eyes. A cold rush of panic constricted around her throat, her pulse beginning to speed up. She was certain now that the piano studio had hardwood floors, and working lights. Had she walked into the wrong building by mistake?

"Mrs. O?" she called out weakly, crawling forward onto her hands and knees, dread causing her movements to feel slow and heavy. Her voice seemed to echo slightly, causing her to think she was in a much bigger room bare of furniture than the room she was supposed to be in. From another part of the room, a scraping sound caught her attention, and Kylie strained her ears to listen, fear causing her heart to skip several beats. She wasn't alone in the room like she had originally assumed, and dread of the unknown had her scurrying backwards away from the noise quickly, bumping her head on a wall she hadn't known was there. A squeak of pain emitted from Kylie's mouth, and the young woman winced as the knot on the back of her head began to throb much faster than before. A high pitched voice broke through the silence of the room, a woman's voice, calling out words that sounded like unintelligible gibberish to Kylie's fogged brain, and she was unable to process what the girl had just said.

Without warning, white light blinded Kylie's senses, her breath catching in her throat as her eyes shut automatically, though the illumination only painted the insides of her eyelids a bright red color. Letting her eyes open just a crack, she couldn't stop from blinking rapidly against the sudden light, and she could feel tears stinging the back of her eyes, which she shut tightly again to hold off the water works. 'Oh God… What is this?' She began a silent prayer as she opened her eyes once again, this time able to hold them open long enough for her pupils to adjust to the invasion of light, revealing the image of a half dozen or so boys and girls who looked to be in about her age range.

"I found the light switch, everyone!" Kylie's eyes moved to the slim lady standing against the wall, beaming at them all with a half-wit smile, and a frown turned the corners of her mouth downwards, her brain moving at a stupidly slow rate, unable to process the way it should. "… be hell for all we know." Large blue eyes scanned around the room, following the walls and taking in the prison Kylie and her new companions were trapped in. Hell..? No, there was no way this was hell, she couldn't be dead... God, what was going on? Her heart felt like it was racing, her head swimming in a way it never should, and everything about her, most of all her head, was aching with a deep-seated throb that felt like it was shaking her entire body back and forth. And who were these people? This wasn't the music studio! 'Why is this happening? …what is happpening?'

OOC; just a note, as I have two characters, Kylie and Cannon, I'm going to rp the two of them separately, in different posts, if this is alright? ;3
