I dragged her as gently as I could back to our den. I licked her some more before falling asleep

I woke up in our den, and found him asleep beside me. I smiled, and went back to sleep.

I woke up in an hour and brought back a deer for us to share,"Wake up baby." i said nudging her softly

I woke up quickly, and surprised myself by growling. I looked up at him,"Sorry." I looked at the deer, and licked my lips.

I smiled, thinking happily that the boys were gonna have families of their own, but the smile faded when he said he hadn't seen Jazzy. "I wonder where she went, her and that little pup..."

I just sat there, letting her grieve. "Some times pups don't live, it didn't look like she killed the pup." I said nuzzling her and licking her face
