It's been a few years since we heard that siren. The one they said was only a precaution. The one whose sound we thought we'd never hear.

But alas, the time of retrospect and making mirrors is behind us. We don't reflect on ourselves or our mistakes much any more; there's no time for nonsense like that. As my brother would say, when he was still around, 'Ain't no use trying to keep from falling in the lake you're already drowning in'

Funny how you never think about things like that until you're too far gone. I used to laugh, roll my eyes, even sigh and groan, when he tried to tell me that. 'You taught me to swim, remember?' I used to tell him. But I guess knowing how to swim isn't the same as trying not to drown.

Yes, there will be multiple characters in this rp. No, that does not mean there has to be multiple members in it, however. I would prefer it if only one other person were to be in this topic with me, but have multiple characters that they play. Now that that's out there, let me explain the rest, since you're probably pretty confused at the moment.

My idea is, as you might have guessed, takes place in a post-apocalyptic world that has survived a nuclear fallout. The characters are members of a small group of infected. These infected, identified by the biohazard symbol tattooed on their upper left arms, are those that the Capitol claims to have been exposed to radiation and have banned from the City. They occupy the wastelands and are typically looked down on by any of the uninfected.

So what's with the title? The specific group of infected that our rp will be based around aren't your average Outlanders. They work for the President, who they have affectionately nicknamed the 'Evil Queen', and are provided supplies such as water, food, shelter when they fail to find it, and protective supplies as long as they eliminate any and all infected who threaten to rebel against the Capitol. Oh, and they call themselves the Reapers..

Plot-wise, I have a potential character in mind who can play the antagonist in the rp. If you're interested, send a pm my way and I'll explain further
