She growled,lips drawn completely back as eyes blood-shot at him. She stood her ground,tail perked high as she gave a defensive look.

I didn't go to her just told her how it was. I curled up since it was going to be a really cold night tonight so I curled into a tight ball and put my fluffy tail over my face and nose so they didn't freeze off

She shivered in her place,her long coat providing slight warmth. She laid down,cuddling against the warmth of a cave wall.

I curled up again and slept for a long time before waking up in the morning. I got up and headed out to hunt for the both of us, I came back full of blood as I got attacked by the moose but eventually took it down. I was limping but threw her a big chunk of it to her

"Nothing you need to worry about." I said whimpering when she licked me. I laid down and licked my wounds on my side and rump. It hurt bad but I had to get enough meat for the both of us or we'd both starve to death
