Ari giggled mischievously, dagger in hand as she watched the group of hunters scramble around inside their fallen tent. The rope that had been holding it was cut, laying atop the makeshift tent. One finally made it out, and he was shouting, cursing angrily and glaring into the trees. In her left hand, Ari clutched a single apple, red and shiny, straight from one of the hunters' packs. They went around, killing all the animals, and Ari felt no guilt by doing this. She could of done a lot more. Without a sound, she turned, walking along the branch until it wouldn't hold her wait anymore. Ari leapt to the next branch, tucking her dagger away and holding the apple tightly. Her tail flicked. She hummed quietly as she made her way back, occasionally stopping to glance around and make sure no one was pursuing. Deer looked up at her, heads tilted and ears floppy as they wondered what the strange girl was doing. Waving, Ari continued. Her bare feet made little noise on the rough bark. The dark colored shorts she wore didn't protect her very well from the slight wind, but Ari had grown accustomed to it.

Finally, she spotted her little home up in a large sequoia tree. Scrambling up like a squirrel, Ari set the apple down and pulled her back, starting to braid it. A pile of blankets served as her bed, and beside that, lay a silk bag that contained everything she had traded for. A brush, soap, things to clean her teeth with, extra clothes, even candy. Settling down onto the blankets, Ari stretched out, sighing softly. A bird watched her from its perch higher up in the tree, its head twitching back and forth. Offering it a smile, the neko girl closed her eyes, yawning a little. It had been a successful day, for her anyway[/center

The guy panicked as he sat in a tree half a mile away from the other person. He was standing on a branch, no other branches below him, and he was unbalanced. Finally balanced, he sighed and sniffed around, his tail swaying slowly. His name was something all nekos knew of, it being Cale Accilo. There was an apple on the very end of the branch and he was hungry, she he was trying to get it. Clinging to the tree, he started to inch like an inchworm towards it and finally got it, inching backwards now. "How could i get myself into this?? I never asked for a tall apple tree to become my choice of death...." He muttered, complaining to himself but sighed and put the apple in his pocket. A few inches closer, he unsheathed his claws and raked himself the rest of the way down, touching the earthy floor with his shoes and sheathes his claws, giving a relieved huff and sat down, pulling the green apple out and eating it.

Ari found that as she lay there, her eyes wouldn't stay closed. Huffing with annoyance, she sat up, mumbling to herself softly. She groped around the for the apple with one hand, brushing out her golden hair with the other. She found it, and pulled it close, taking a nibble out of it as she stood. Smoothing her shirt, Ari bounced over to the thickest tree branch, walking out onto it and stepping onto another tree. The air was cooling quickly, sending goosebumps up her arms and legs. A small noise caught her attention, and Ari tilted her head, looking down. Someone was there! She nibbled on her apple a little more, watching the neko boy below her. Slowly, she shifted down to a sitting position, and giggled. "It's awful dangerous down there!" Ari called down, tail flicking.

His ears perked up and his tail fluffed up like cotton and he shuddered but looked up. "Right now, it isn't so don't try to play pranks with me! I've heard from other forest wanderers that someone was playing pranks to whoever was in her sights, so it won't work!" He shouted to her and finished his apple, standing up and brushing down the fur of his tail. He didn't really trust people that well, since that is what went with him. Walking a little farther away, there was a house, like a log cabin, next to a river and it was his. Walking towards it, he rubbed his arms as it was a bit cold today. Once he heard the water, he walked a little faster till he reached the river and smiled, seeing the house several feet away and headed towards it.
