"No kidding.." Layla growled.

I looked at her,"Nice way to ruin the moment. We just found something incredible, and you have to go out and be all sassy." I said, actually kind of irritated. I spotted something deeper in the cave and trotted towards it. It was a clump of fur, and paw prints leading deeper.

Layla snarled at him in disgust before padding quicker into the cave. There was a cougar who had been disturbed from a nap. Layla growled and raised her hackles sidestepping the cat's pounce before slashing its side. It fell over, letting Layla slash its belly open. Every time Layla killed, it sparked a flame inside of her. It made her feel powerful.

I smelt the cougar, before I saw it. I leaped up, almost hitting Layla. Together we tackled the cougar, but she killed it. I saw the spark in her eyes, and finally knew how to get to her.

Layla gave an evil snicker, feeling powerful more than anyone.

My eyes sparkled as I trotted over to her,"Wow! You'll make a wonderful, assassin. I've never seen a wolf move like that. Nakomi taught you well..."

Layla looked over at Kapu. "Thanks. But I still have much to do with Nakomi." Layla replied, jumping up from rock to rock until the reached the top.

I smiled as she actually said something besides criticizing me. I followed quickly after her,"You don't want to explore anymore?" I asked surprised, but I really wanted to get back to camp to see how Genocide was doing.

"Not with you." Layla sneered before bounding off towards camp.

I huffed in annoyance, and rolled my eyes. "I can be kind of fun you know..."

"Tell it to the tail." Layla growled, padding into the den. "How is she?" Layla asked her father. Durnal looked over. "Genocide is banged up, but she's fine. Genocide will be up and running in a couple days." Durnal replied softly. Layla sat next to Genocide and licked her ear. "You okay sis?" Layla asked. Genocide nodded, "Yeah, I'm okay. Just sore."

I growled and ran past her, getting to Genocide's side first. I listened to Durnal's words, and licked the side of Genocide's face. "Hey... About earlier... I'm sorry," I mumbled.

Layla growled at Kapu disgustingly. 'You aren't the only one that cares!' Layla thought angrily. Genocide smiled. "Its fine." She replied, laying her head down.

I smiled, ignoring Layla's face. "Good, I was worried you were mad..." I said staring into her eyes.

Layla huffed silently. She walked out of the den and to the river. Layla began to sing Complicated by Avril Lavigne.

I listened to Layla sing, but stayed with Genocide. I found myself focusing on Layla's voice though. It flowed like a raver over rocks.

Layla finished the song before turning around to go back to training.

I watched Layla walk away, and wanted to here her voice again... I stayed with Genocide though, not wanting to leave her.

Genocide smiled. "I can see you're tempted to follow her." Genocide teased.

I was surprised by Genocide's voice,"No... No, I'm just fine here with you!" i replied stubbornly.

I looked at her, and licked her cheek. "No! I'm fine with you... Besides she'd just chase me off anyway"

Genocide shrugged away but smiled. "No kidding. She's a tough one I tell ya."

"Complimenting her on her skills wont work." Genocide pointed out. Layla was padding back to camp when Jackson padded towards her. A black pup with stormy eyes. "Hey sexy." He greeted. Layla whirled around and tripped him, biting his maw.
